Thank you to the committee and its officers for the invitation to judge at their show, thank you also to the exhibitors for allowing me the good fortune of going over their wonderful dogs.

Setter Irish

P(5,4) 1. Milligan-Bott’s Thendara Commitment, a wonderful young boy with good head shape, well set ears, soft in expression, good reach of neck into well placed shoulders, prominent fore chest, nice and deep too, plenty of bone to grow into, nice tight feet, strong in thigh for a young man giving good rear angulation, correct tail set, coat in good condition, showed and moved well for youngster. BP. J(2,2), PG(4,1) 1. Dale’s Aubanjon Royal Symphony, young lady with plenty to like, lovely head shape with correct shape of eye, ear set good, gentle expression, good reach of neck to correct shoulder set leading onto gentle slopping top line ending in correct tail set, good deep chest, lovely front angulation, tight tidy feet, good bend of stifle from a good thigh, a well-rounded young lady with excellent coat condition, moved with ease and with purpose around the ring. BOB and Gp3. 2. Rose-Hay and Broadgate’s Cataluna Betcha By Golly Wow. 3. Rose-Hay’s Applegrove Wallander with Cataluna. O Dog (4,3) 1. Rose-Hay’s Cataluna It’s No Secret, Strong dog of good size, good head, strong neck into well laid back shoulders, smooth top line to correct tail set, substantial front/chest, well sprung rib, both front and rear angulation of good proportion, strong rear quarters, good plentiful coat  in good condition, strode out with ease. RBOB.     O Bitch (1) 1. Broadgate’s Riverman Beat the Boys, Well presented clean cut girl, correct head, eyes and ears, good reach of neck to gentle top line, good tail set, prominent chest to front with depth and spring of rib, adequate front angulation, good at rear from well-muscled thigh, clean tight feet, good on the move with symmetrical gate.

German Shorthaired Pointers

J (1,1). PG (0). O (1) 1. Collins’ Twice as Nice of Forestpoint, Head of good proportion not too heavy, ears nice and high, nice dark eye, strong correctly arched neck thickening to shoulder, elbows well laid back, good deep chest shaped to loins, thighs well-muscled and strong, tidy compact feet, overall a steady dog with the look of strength, agility and endurance, moved smoothly with purpose giving strong outline.
