Judges Report   -   Ian Sinclair 

I would like to thank the committee for asking me to step in at the last minute to judge these three breeds. I thoroughly enjoyed my day despite the poor showing from my own breed.  

Rottweiler 

Junior 3 (1) 

236 – Borley & Vanson’s TIESTO EDGE OF TOMORROW  -  16 month old bitch, bodying up nicely for age. Nice almond shaped eyes, ears correct size & placement making up a lovely feminine head. Good length of neck, shoulders well laid back & good angulation front and rear. Lovely mover with good length of stride & overall balanced. -   BOB 

235 – Allen’s – JODIPAS TIME TUNNEL. 8 month old bitch. Everything coming together will be nice to see how she progresses. A little bit leggy at the moment but that didn’t spoil her movement. – BP

239 – Allen’s – HIKAY’S WITH ATTITUDE – 2 ½ year old bitch. Correct shaped head with good ear size & placement. Deep chest & nice rear angulation but thought she was a little wide at the front which gave a slightly rolling action on the move. 

Border Collie

257 – Tiller’s – FOXBARTON KINGS SABLE – Nice sable bitch just out of puppy. Loved her head with a good stop leading to correct length muzzle, excellent oval eyes & good ear size and placement. Good length of neck, well sprung ribs, deep chest and good body length. Lovely graceful mover.

259 – Tiller’s – FOXBARTON KINGS KNIGHT – sable dog nearly 2 years old. Nice masculine head, good length of neck. Correct front and rear angulation giving well balanced movement with good drive. 

258 – Skipper’s – TONKORY DIAMANTE DAZZLER

243 – Tiller’s – FOXBARTON LADY IN WAITING – 12 year old b/w bitch not showing her age at all & moved like a dream which was the result of lovely well balanced construction. Nice head with sweet expression, good correct coat and nicely muscled.   BOB 

Collie (Rough)

261 – Rutherford’s TREEVIEW TELL NO SECRETS – 11 month old bitch, nice shaped sweet girl. Good angulation & body building up nicely. Nice head, well-proportioned with medium almond eye, correct ear size and placement. Won the class on movement. 

260 – Patterson’s TREEVIEW HOPE & PROMISE

263 – Muffet’s MONSOLINA PEPPER SWEET – 2yr old blue bitch. Nice femine lady with good head, well balanced front & rear, translating into lovely effortless movement. 

265 – Swain’s LEXCOLS JEWEL IN MY CROWN 

264 – Patterson’s TREEVIEW PROMISE TO BOOGIE - BP

267 – Patterson’s AMALIE LYNMEAD YOUR A STAR TO FREEVIEW – 5 yr old blue bitch. Lovely head & expression, good body with well sprung ribs, deep chest and good angulations. Cracking mover. BOB 

268 – Swain’s LINAMAC LADY LOVE AT LEXCOL.
