North Devon Agricultural Society

I would like to thank the North Devon Agricultural society for inviting me to judge at this lovely outdoor show which is part of the larger North Devon Show.

St Bernard

O (5) 1. Chandlimore Spin the Bottle at Schnaubern, A lovely youngster of 11 months with good substance who showed her socks off in the large ring. Large head with broad deep muzzle, straight to abrupt stop, medium sized well lying ears and lovely dark eye. Strong neck leading to a broad shoulder and deep chest, well boned throughout with large but tight feet, straight front and rear when stationary and on the move. BOB, BPIB.

2. Chandlimore King of Pop.

Bernese Mountian Dog

O (2) 1. Tamarbern Dusky Maiden, a seven year old bitch who enjoyed her day out and moved with purpose around the ring, Nice square muzzle leading to a defined stop, medium dark eyes, correct body proportions with broad chest, straight in front with well angulated stifles at the rear. Thick but soft silky coat with nice sheen, BOB.

2. Arvella Rebel Rebel at Jenzobern, Pleasing baby puppy of just 7 months, strong straight muzzle housing a correct scissor bite, medium dark almond shaped eyes, small triangular ears set high on the head. Good overall confirmation, soft silky black coat, A little loose and excitable on the move but carried an excited tail throughout, will keep an eye out how this boy develops as I would like to see this boy in a couple of years when he is more mature. Great Dane

O (1) 1. Carsan Angels Ward, 8 year old dog, still displaying the elegance of his breed, correct dentition, broad deep muzzle, medium sized eyes light brown in colour, moderate stop, head strong in profile sitting on a well arched neck, straight front with sound bone, deep chest with well sprung ribs, well muscled rear with good turn of stifle and well let down hocks, moved gracefully maintaining a level top line, slightly tight at rear when moving away, BOB.
