Firstly thank you to the committee and the officers of the club for the honour of judging at your show, a warm reception with wonderful hospitality, I had a great day with you all. Thanks must also go to the exhibitors for allowing me to go over their lovely dogs.

Irish Setters. J (5,1). 1 Miss O Danks-Kemish’s Rappatty Star Light over Alolfran. 11 month old pretty girl, sweet head with good proportions, nice deep chest, tidy tight feet, very good angulation to front and rear, good muscling through-out, shoulder through top line to tail set good, coat condition good, moved really well in a small space due to good handling. BPIB and PGrp3. 2 Rollinson’s Victoriaview Hippo. PG (3). 1 Hughes Byedales Diamond Jubilee. Young lady of good type, feminine head with a lovely eye and expression, good lay of shoulder to a correct top line, good deep chest with plenty of span, neat feet, good 1st and 2nd thigh, angulation made for clean precise movement. RBOB. 2 Cohen’s Aoibheanne’s Rough Diamond with Shushana JW. O (3). 1 Mrs R Danks-Kemish’s Sametsuz on Cue Alolfran ShCM. Substantial mature dog of good proportions, strong in shoulder making a good front with plenty of sprung rib, deep chest, correct top line and tail set, good 1st and 2nd thigh on well angled rear, moved positively and with drive, coat in good condition. BOB. 2 Cohen’s Caispern Lorenzo with Shushana JW ShCM.

Gordon Setters. G (7,3). 1 Miss O Danks-Kemish’s Graylacier Royal Blue. Substantially strong dog in overall good condition, correct head type, good front with deep chest, well arched neck thickening into strong shoulder and back, good tail set, strong 1st thigh with truthful angulation, very good on the move which was straight, driven and true. BOB. 2 Warren’s Benbuie Secret Agent. 3 Woodhouse’s Birchgarth Bill Bayley at Halbadier BPIB. O (2,1). 1 Moore’s Gadhelic Spirit of the Celt JW. Mature girl good in type, good eye with lovely intelligent expression, well defined neck through shoulder to top line and onto tail, well-built front, deep chest with plenty of sprung rib for ample lung capacity, sturdy hindquarters with good angulation, moved positively and with drive. RBOB.

English Setters. G (7,2). 1 Schoneville and Derry’s Balvenie Evita JW. Small but all in proportion young girl, with good head type with nice eye giving a wonderful caring expression, well built front, neck through shoulder to nice level top line and correct tail set, plenty of good well sprung rib, tidy tight feet, in good condition, moved really well, with positive attitude. RBOB. 2 Gwilliam and Bozier’s Victoriaview Lily BPIB. O (3). 1 Mrs R Danks-Kemish’s SH CH Ravensett Jail House Rocks Alolfran JW ShCM. Mature boy with overall outline of very good proportions, head good to type with squared muzzle giving that super profile, good frontage supporting a deep well ribbed chest, neck through to tail strong and level, 1st and 2nd thigh well muscled which accentuated the first-rate angulation, for a big dog he moved really well in a small area, presented to his max by good handling. BOB. 2 Gwilliam and Bozier’s Victoriaview Bluebell.

Irish Red and White Setters. G (1). 1 Owen’s Anisbrig Tamdhu. Lively  young lad with good front and top line to correct tail set, good 1st thigh with plenty of muscle defining good angulation to the rear, was a little loose on the move, but looked like he was having fun. RBOB. O (2,1). 1 Owen’s Rustasha Romantic Melody. Mature girl in good condition, correct head proportions with a sweet expression, tidy close feet, good deep chest with plenty of sprung rib, good flat top line on the move, which was positive and full of drive.
