Thank you to the committee and the officers of the club for the honour of judging at your show, wonderful hospitality, and thanks also go to the exhibitors for allowing me to go over their lovely dogs.


Setter English. PG (1). 1. Colton’s Clovenledale Blue Chip for Ennydloc.  A young boy with lots of potential, a good profile which showed on the move, good length of ear set nice and low, a strong deep chest giving strength to the top line, good angulation to front and rear, good tail set which stayed level with top line on the move. O (1). 1. Colton’s Sodalitas High Havoc over Ennydloc. Strong mature dog with a well defined head, good front with plenty of rib for a good deep chest, front and rear angulation good which showed him off well on the move. BOB

Setter Irish. J (1,1) – PG (3,1). 1. Wheeldon’s Bardonhill Jealous Guy for Colemist. Handsome boy with a kind eye, nice low ear making for good head shape/outline, strong front, excellent top line to good tail set, muscular first and second thigh which made movement effortless. 2. Glasper’s Esbrown Lord of the Dance at Denetop. O (5,2) 1. Riddell’s Thendara Chasing Girls Around Trunorth. Mature dog in excellent condition, Well defined head with good eye and ear set, muscular neck leading down to first-rate top line ending in good tail set. Strong in muscle through-out and with good angulation to both front and rear showed himself off to his best on the move. BOB.

Setter Gordon. O (1). 1. McAvoy’s Laurelhach Bemm. Deep broad head with good stop, well muscled and good lay of shoulder leading to strong back down to tail, good first thigh with excellent angulation, nice tight feet which gave me a clear profile of his movement which was good, presented well. BOB

Setter Irish Red and White. G (1). 1. Eddleston’s Rustasha Red Hot Diva. Sweet girl with a good eye, withers through to tail first-class, first and second thigh with plenty of muscle and with good angulation makes for easy movement, coat in good condition, presented well. O (2). 1. Pilmer’s Anisbrig Tobermory. Handsome young lad with good eye, ear set correct, strong neck thickening to withers, good quality top line leading into good tail set, nice deep cavity to chest with plenty of sprung rib, ample muscle to rear and correct angulation made it easy for the handler to move him with ease, lovely profile whilst on the move. BOB. 2. Mole’s Dalriach Silver Tassie at Edincraw.

Pointer. J (4). 1. Radcliffe’s Sniperay Jhambiri. A young boy with a good head type, eye of intelligent expression and ears set nice and high, plenty of good oval bone, good deep well sprung chest cavity, excellent angulation to front and rear, stacked well to show off his outline (not over stretched), neat tidy feet well cushioned, for a youngster moved well. BP. 2. Luke and Hinton’s Fleurfield Jim Beam. PG (2). 1. Anderson-Rowell’s Littleowl Scandiaca for Daledancer. Sweet girl full of expression, good neck into withers flowing into a good top line, good front and angles with plenty of chest, first and second thigh good giving a very sturdy straight movement. 2. Barker’s Flinthill Pimpernel. O (3). 1. Radcliffe’s Sniperay Verandi. Strong in type with good defined head, withers through top line to tail set very good, good lay back of shoulder giving sturdy front, good deep and wide chest cavity, strapping first and second thigh which made his movement effortless, strode out with purpose.
