I would like to thank the committee for their kind invitation to judge at this lovely show. I had some super dogs to go over, so a huge thank you to all the exhibitors for the pleasure of your dogs.

1. Mrs A Crouch - Kassan Kausing Khaos

Very smart 17 month old orange roan bitch. She has lovely balance when stood and a pleasing outline. She has a good dark eye giving a kind and gentle expression, well developed body for her age. Shown in super coat and moved out true with typical cocker style.

From a smaller mould to junior winner, this 3 year old black bitch has a compact outline, and so feminine all through. Her head shows good width and depth to the foreface to balance nicely with the backskull and a super dark eye. Her ribs are well sprung, with good depth and short coupled. Shown in lovely full coat and on the move showed good drive

This 5 year old black bitch is most certainly a ‘merry’ cocker. Loved her happy and outgoing nature. When stood this bitch has an elegant yet compact outline, nothing is overdone. She has a lovely head, which is well balanced with a dark eye and a hint of naughtiness! Liked her depth of brisket and forechest. The ribs are well sprung and carried well back. She has nicely angulated hindquarters with a good width of thigh. Shown with a coat in full bloom. True on the move with good drive and the ever lashing tail – BOB & Gp4

1. Boden & Monaghan - Marshalver Miss Attitude

16 month old bitch, impressed by her lovely balance and construction. She has a very pleasing outline when stood, with good substance but not overdone. Typical head piece, with a good clean eye. Good length of neck, lovely forechest and depth to the ribs. Forelegs straight and well boned. Both stood and on the move kept a firm topline. She has a good width of first and second thigh coupled with a well bent stifle. Her young handler, got the best out of her, both showing and moving with confidence

Just loved this 4 year old bitch, one I have seen before and she is like a fine wine, just keeps on getting better with age. When stood she shows all the virtues of a lovely example of the breed. There is so much to like, her size, substance and femininity, so lovely to go over. Good width to back skull, depth to muzzle and heavy brow. Eye colour toning well. Her powerful neck flows well into her firm and well held topline, finishing with a well set on tail. She has super bone and large tight feet. Her body has the required length and strength with good depth to the brisket and spring to the ribs. She is a free and positive mover, showing her socks off to win BOB, Gp1 and going onto win BIS

15 month old black bitch. Liked her overall size and balance when stood. Very feminine all through. She has a pleasing one piece head, with good length to the foreface and a dark eye. Clean neck, enough depth for age, topline a little soft at times. Good rear angulation. Not as settled on the move with a new handler

A very eye catching 4 year old black bitch. Loved her shape on the stack, so elegant yet having the required substance, she just flows from nose to tail. Wouldn’t want any more of her, but she retains her femininity and grace. Nicely moulded head and keen alert expression. Strong and lengthy neck seamlessly flowing into her firm topline and well set on tail. She has well bone limbs and tight feet. Shown in super coat and condition - BOB

16 month old yellow dog, with a well-developed deep body and plenty of substance all through. He has a pleasing profile when stood, showing strength and the correct barrel rib with a good length to the leg. Liked his expression, kind and attentive to his handler. Clean neck flowing well into his firm topline. He has good bone and tight feet. Liked his width of thigh and well bent stifle. Moving out well using his otter tail

Workmanlike 2 year old yellow bitch. In profile she has a compact and balanced outline, with substance yet athletic. Liked her overall size and proportions. She has a lovely head, with good width to the back skull, clean through the cheeks, good length of foreface with keen and alert expression. Her clean and strong neck flows well into her firm topline. Good barrel ribs, reaching down to the elbow. Nicely angulated fore and aft and shown in good muscle tone. Strode out well on the move, showing to be true. BOB & Gp3

4 year old yellow dog, presenting quite an imposing outline, with strength throughout the body and a confident and showy attitude. He has a pleasing head, which is well balanced, with a dark eye and pigmentation, showing lots of character. He has a good strong neck flowing well into his muscular topline. Super depth, well ribbed, with short couplings. He is well boned with tight feet. Moving true

11 month old liver bitch, one I have had the pleasure of seeing previously, and she has come on in leaps and bounds. Shows herself off to be upstanding and balanced in appearance. Head still to come on but retaining its femininity, with her eye colour toning well giving an oh so kind expression. She has a neck of good length which flows well into her topline. Good depth of brisket for her age with well sprung ribs. She has lovely bone and is nicely angulated fore and aft. On the move she has a controlled and easy stride, whilst holding her shape. BP & Puppy Gp2

1. Dr & Mrs Eden - Kandrelli Eleonora’s Falcon (Curly)

Black 16 month old bitch, just loved her, she has a super shape when stood, with a balanced profile, good bone and strength, but nothing is overdone. Her head is the correct wedge shape, and well balanced with back skull and foreface finished off with a dark eye. Her body is well developed, and has correct angulation. Shown in a coat with a good crisp curl. She moved soundly but unfortunately without any real enthusiasm.

An elegant Weimaraner bitch coming up 2 years old. She has a shapely and flowing outline when stood, the picture of elegance yet having enough substance all through. Pleasing head to give the noble look. Good length of neck, flowing well into her firm topline. She has a good length to the ribcage and depth. Nicely angulated hindquarters. Moving out with style and drive

7 year old WSS dog, thought this veteran dog was of a lovely size with a good balanced outline. There is lots to like about him and he is not overdone in any department. He has a masculine head, with chiselling below his dark hazel eyes. He has a soft and kind expression. Strong and muscular neck, good forechest and depth. Ribs carried well back and with a good width of well muscled thighs. Moving out well and with good drive

Rather taken with this orange belton bitch. At just 10 months old she is rather raw, but has all the essentials. She has an appealing head, with good overall length and oval shape to the back skull. Lovely dark eye, giving a kind expression with a hint of naughtiness. She has a long neck flowing well into her topline. She has super depth and spring of rib for her age. Did play the fool at times on the move, but settled to show a good side gait – Puppy Gp3

Really liked the shape, size and balance of this 19 month old Chesapeake Bay bitch. She has lovely substance all through coupled with good confirmation. Her head is well proportioned, with good width to the backskull, eyes toning with coat colour. Forelegs straight onto well knuckled feet. Liked her forechest and depth of brisket. Her hindquarters are well muscled with good width and a well turned stifle. Shown in good coat, and texture. Moving out true, but not too bothered about this showing lark today!

He has good depth to the brisket and good forechest. He has a good sweep of stifle, and well toned muscles, which he used well to drive around the ring

Naughty but nice, a 10 month old dog puppy. Once settled he was able to show off his virtues. He has a lovely head piece, equal length of backskull to foreface, well defined stop and a dark eye. His strong clean neck flowing well into his topline, which showed a good ridge and crowns. Having good depth for his age and nicely boned. He has moderate rear angulation. Showing to be true on the move

This bitch is looking great as she comes up to her 8th birthday. Whilst upstanding she retains her femininity. Her outline gives the impression of a strength and balance. Her head is well proportioned, well placed ears and well defined stop. She has a lovely kind expression from those dark eyes. She has a muscular yet lithe physic and nothing is overdone. Good spring to the ribs and brisket down to the elbow. Liked her well bent stifles and width of thigh. Moving out true – BOB

What a super class of dogs, a delight to judge, thank you so much to the exhibitors for your patience. Lovely to have so many good dogs. Winner a 3 year old Beagle bitch, she simply commanded my attention in this super class. Nothing overdone about her, a lovely bitch from any angle. She has an appealing head and expression, Firm level topline and depth of brisket. Well boned legs onto tight feet, good bend of stifle. Shown in super condition and moving with a free and positive action

This young pointer dog, has grace and style. Typical head piece with a soft and gentle expression. Good depth of chest and a gentle slope to the topline. He has a lovely action on the move in profile, with good drive and a lashing bee sting tail

A workmanlike bitch, who is not overdone. Loved her keen and intelligent expression. Showed a balanced outline on the stack. Moving out true and at one with her handler

This bitch did make me smile, a real pocket rocket! Once settled, she shows off her compact yet elegant outline and lovely melting expression. Moving with precise footfall and enthusiasm

10 month old Liver Tri English Springer Spaniel bitch. For one so young she shows herself off with real confidence. Feminine and well proportioned head, clean neck, firm topline both stood and on the move. Pleasing depth and spring of rib. Moving out with precise footfalls, and at one with her handler

Another showing and moving well. She carried herself around the ring with a noble air.

When stood showing to have lovely body lines, her mischievous side came out on the move, but settled to show good movement
