Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.

Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge and to the exhibitors who entered and stayed to represent the breed in the groups. I very much enjoyed my first judging appointment.

J (1,1) - 1 Fletcher’s Asterlily Heka. 11 month old dog who was making his handler work today. Correct shaped head with well-placed almond shape eyes. Level topline when stood, good rear angulation. Nicely feathered well set-on tail. BP.

PG (2,1) – 1 Fletcher’s Asterlily Amaze. 3 year old bitch shown in full coat of correct texture and colour. Good front and rear angulation, moved with drive presenting correct tail carriage. RBOB.

O (1,1) – 1 Powley’s Chrilikas Duke Of Danehaven (Imp Nor). 3 year old dog of the correct size. Lovely head with kind expression. Eyes well blended with coat colour however he was lacking in coat today. Pleasing bone and feet with well sprung ribs and a level topline which is held on the move. Just had the edge over the other class winners in the challenge. BOB.
