Sunday 23rd April 2017 - English Setter (Bitches)
Judge - Mr Steve Collier (Roszarke)
It was a pleasure to judge at ESA and thank you to all the committee / stewards for organising a very enjoyable and efficient show. It was good to see some promising young bitches coming through and the depth of quality in the older classes. Overall I was looking for feminine bitches with the correct balance and elegance, but also the substance and conditioning needed in a gundog. Today the BOB came from the dog ring with Phenset Blue Max (gaining his title on the day) and Best Puppy in Breed was the bitch Bramstorm Tapestry.
