Special Triers Dog (2,0)

1. Greenwood’s Petmon Light Of My Life. At 10.5 years old, this veteran dog was presented in good condition for his age. Head of good length and correctly proportioned with neat ears well set and a dark eye. Adequate bone and substance, demonstrated soundness on the move.

2. Hill’s Polwicks Black Tourmaline Of Tahgmor. Another veteran at 11 years old, this substantial dog was a size bigger than the class winner and challenged his handler with typical Scottie independence. Pleasing head and forequarters well constructed. Moved ok.

Puppy Dog (1,0)

1. Kenney-Marriott & Kirk-Gellantly’s Millingford Hudson. This lovely puppy dog instantly caught my eye with fantastic movement in profile, maintaining topline and tail set throughout. Pleasing head and expression, good depth and substance for his age and demonstrated good overall condition and powerful hindquarters on the move. BPIS.

Limit Dog (4,0)

1. Tyler’s Divadell Room At The Top. Mature brindle dog in excellent coat and condition. Good length and proportions of head, dark almond eye and ear set ok. Deep-chested with well boned forequarters and good spring of rib. Moved well both coming and going and in profile. BD.

2. Mahmoudi’s Glengracie Jetson. At just shy of two years old, this dog was not as mature as the class winner. Was presented in good coat and moved well, maintaining topline and tail throughout. Head of good length and well proportioned. Body deep and muscular but a bit longer than that of the class winner.

3. Wilcox’s Millingford King Of Hearts

Open Dog (3,1)

1. Meek’s Benartybrae Macarena At Benbetham. Lovely wheaten dog, well proportioned and substantial with good angulation throughout. Low to the ground with chest well slung. Short backed with level topline. Moved well in profile. RBD.

2. Hill’s Polwicks Black Tourmaline Of Tahgmor

Veteran Dog or Bitch (5,2)

1. Greenwood’s Petmon Miss Tiggywinkle Sh.CM. This 10.5 year-old bitch was presented in wonderful physical condition and showed no signs of slowing down on the move, demonstrating lovely smooth movement in profile. Body low to the ground with good depth of chest, reasonably short-backed with a feminine head. BVIS.

2. Mills’ Blackthorpe Bianca. This 7 year-old bitch was smaller in size than the class winner but still in proportion throughout with a well-constructed front, good layback of shoulder, low to the ground and short backed. Dark eye almond eye, ears set well. Moved well in profile. Was a bit out of coat on the day.

3. Hill’s Polwicks Black Tourmaline Of Tahgmor

Special Beginners Dog or Bitch (1,0)

1. Frais’ Whitwich Fly By Knight. This young bitch was well presented, in good coat and condition. Head of good length and proportions, dark eye and well set ears. Front well constructed with good bone and depth of chest, neck of moderate length and shoulders well laid back. Moved well both coming and going and in profile, maintaining topline and tail set throughout.

1. Greenwood’s Petmon Miss Tiggywinkle Sh.CM. Best Special Triers.

2. Hill’s Skircoat Semibreve At Tahgmor. This bitch was a size bigger than the class winner. Substantial bitch with a powerful rear. Long and proportionate head with ears well set. Moved well coming and going.

Junior Bitch (4,1)

1. Frais’ Whitwich Fly By Knight

2. Lawrence’s Sweetgarret Ocean Storm. Another lovey bitch, not as mature as the class winner but showing plenty of promise. Presented well-groomed with correct depth and texture to coat. Well proportioned throughout and balance was demonstrated on the move.

3. Meek’s Lomondview Amber Solitaire At Benbetham.

Maiden Bitch (2,1)

Novice Bitch (2,0)

1. Sykes’ Sandbourne In Your Dreams. This 2 year-old bitch was of slightly smaller size but made up for it with plenty of attitude. Short backed with good angulation in the front, short hocks and well-bent stifles. Moved ok.

2. Bryant’s Clanking Hattie Mcnattie. This bitch was taller and a size bigger than the class winner. Good length of head with a dark eye. Straight front, adequate angulation in rear. Moved ok coming and going.

Graduate Bitch (6,1)

1. Wilde’s Blackthorpe Bryony. Presented in good coat and condition and demonstrating good breed type, this bitch stood out in a strong graduate class. Body short-backed, low to the ground with good bone and substance throughout. Well-constructed front with plenty of forechest. Feminine head with ears well set. Maintained lovely outline on the move. RBB/RBIS.

2. Coles’ Tinka Tykes Golden Girl. Another lovely bitch with a beautiful head, good front and read construction, shoulders well laid back and a good tail set. Slightly longer in body than the class winner. Moved ok.

Limit Bitch (6,4)

1. Lawrence’s Sweetgarret Highland Lass. This bitch caught my eye as soon as she walked in the ring, demonstrating breed type both in standing and on the move. Well-proportioned throughought, she has a lovely feminine head, dark eye and intelligent expression. Excellent bone and depth of chest, ribs well sprung with a short body and powerful, well-muscled rear. In fantastic coat and condition. BB/BIS.

Open Bitch (4,1)

1. Weall’s Wrightonbell Ready To Rock. Another well-presented bitch in excellent coat and condition. Moved well, held topline and tail set on the move. Rear well constructed, head of good proportions, would have liked to see more angulation in the forequarters.

2. Mills’ Blackthorpe Lost In You. This bitch was smaller than the class winner but low to the ground with a solid, compact body. Moved well, maintaining outline throughout. Would have liked to see more length of head but head was clean with a dark almond eye and good ear set. A bit out of coat on the day.
