I would like to thank the Officers & Committee of the Society for inviting me to officiate at this busy and well run show. Thank you to the exhibitors for entering their dogs under me.  I enjoyed my day and had some very nice dogs to examine.

1st & RBOB Moorhouse’s Amuelle Miss Itsy Bitsy. 2yr old brindle bitch. Best mover in class. Feminine head with OK earset. Correct body shape and rear angulation.

1st BOB & Gp 3 Scott’s French Bulldog Amuelle Little Tom Thumb. Litter sister to winner of P.G. class. Excellent mover. Masculine head without coarseness and good earset. Typical body outline with excellent hindquarters. Won this class well.

Chow Chow  Open D/B (8, 5 abs)

1st & BOB Cummins & Rogers’ Dragonsway Cinderella. Bitch of 2 years litter sister to 2nd and both slightly out of coat. Having had’ hairies’ for 3 decades I knowhow frustrating it can be when they decide to shed. Better mover of the 2. Pleasing head and expression with correct eye shape. Well developed forechest andwell muscled hind quarters. Good tailset.

Boston Terrier  Open D/B (2, 0 abs)

1st, BOB & Gp 4 McGowan’s Boston Terrier Mysterious Girl De Sanibel Island at Truebeau. Very pleasing 18 month old bitch who won this class easily. Typical head and expression with good earset. Lovely neck flowing into good forehand. Good angulation front and rear. Moved well

1st, BOB & Gp 2 Evans’ Dalens Bethany Char. 17month old bitch with pleasing headpiece of correct proportions. Strong teeth with scissor bite and strong jaw. Muscular neck of moderate  length flowing into excellent forehand. Correct topline & tailset. Well bent stifle, positive flowing movement.

1st &   BOB Hosking’s Tarquas Strut My Stuff. 2 year old chocolate bitch that was well presented. Pretty head and expression. Good forehand , little long in loin, Rear angulation &  tailset good. Moved a little close behind.

Shih Tzu Open D/B (2, 0abs)

1st & BOB Puleston’s Daltricia Thana at Shanuleas. Very well put together 3 year old bitch, typical of her breeding. Good head shape and eye set. Well laid shoulders and good body shape. Correct coat texture. Moved well

1st Bragg’s Jokuba’s Sure As I Can Be with Loopang. 2 year old fawn Shar Pei bitch with typical flat skull and moderate stop and good ear set. Strong neck into well laid shoulders. Short coupled. Coat texture OK, moved well

AVNSC Utility Open D/B (9, 4 abs) The best class of the day. The first two are 2 very nice examples of their breeds. The Standard Schnauser is an excellent example of the breed and I thought he would be my group winner. Unfortunately he decided to play up and it cost him.

1st & Gp 1 Woods Min Schauser Spirited Away Kinda for Pembro (imp.PL) A very precocious young lady who commanded your attention. Presented in excellent condition. Cracking feminine head of correct proportions. Good earset and bite. Moderate length of neck, slightly arched going into excellent forehand. Lovely body shape with good tailset and rear angulation. Moved with drive.

2nd Moore’s Standard Schnauzer Ch.Odivane Wizz Kid.

1st & Puppy Gp 1 Moore’s Standard Schnauzer Odivane Mummy’s Boy at Filipers. 10 month old young man who was full of himself. Long strong head. Flat skull, strong muzzle, correct scissor bite well placed ears. Correct length of slightly arched neck. Excellent forehand with good depth of chest, topline correct. Good rear angulation and moved with drive

1st  Stedham’s Eurasier Albionspitz Tanzanite. Third in previous variety class. Fawn bitch of 3 years. Pleasing wedge shaped head, good earset. Correct forequarters and body shape with good rear angulation. Moved well.

1st Jones’ Tibetan Terrier Tsering Utse Nima  8 years young dog who certainly was enjoying his day out. Good head shape and bite. Forehand and bodyshape good  Move the best on the day.

1st & BPIB Malden’s Louka Masked Maiden 7 ½ old bitch with correctly shaped feminine head and earset. Strong neck into very good forehand. Body shape correct with well muscled hindquarters. Moved well

Bull Terrier Open D/B (2, 1abs)

1st & BOB Malden’s Louka Eye in the Sky 16 month old bitch with strong but feminine head. Earset OK. Forequarters very good and excellent rear angulation with well muscled hindquarters. Moved very well.

Manchester Terriers Open D/B (3, 1abs)

1st  & BOB Heller’s Limoncello Cecilia Beaux 2 year old bitch with pretty feminine head, long and forming a blunt wedge. Long neck into a good forehand. Straight legs correctly marked. Good tuck-up and rear angulation. Moved well.

1st  & Gp 2 Marshallsay’s  Fergustaff Jack Frost.  Red dog of 1½ years. Strong masculine head without coarseness. Big teeth and strong underjaw. Powerful neck going into well laid shoulders. Excellent depth of chest and close coupled with correct topline. Well-developed thighs, correct bend of stifle. Moved well.

1st Woollacott’s Tufterslodge Tea N Cake.  Young male of just a year. Doesn’t want to grow anymore Well presented with harsh jacket for age. Good head shape with correct dentition.

 Good forehand and topline with correctly angulated rear. Moved well

1st & BOB Pile’s Tarkaswell Dr Zhivago at Moleschamber ShCM. Pleasing male otter like head. Scissor bite, strong teeth and jaw. Good length of neck going into forehand. Excellent body outline, correct tail set. Harsh jacket, strode out purposefully.

1st , BAVNSC & Gp 3, Puppy Gp 2 Mignano-Fricker & Fricker’s  JRT Appaloosa Status Triple Crown Del Calavey (Imp.Ita.). Pleasing young bitch of 10 months, feminine head without weakness. Correct dentition and bite, strong underjaw. Good length of neck with excellent forehand.  Body shape and rear angulation good. Moved very well. Won this class with something to spare.

AV Terrier Veteran D/B (2, 1w/d)

1st & Best Veteran Lewis’ 7 ½ year old Cesky Terrier Komidion Nickelodeon Avec Dajaces ShCM.  I have judged this lad before and he is always presented in tip top condition and is a credit to his owners. He was one of the best movers on the day and he was enjoying his day out. He’s a little too big for me but he is always a delight to go over.
