Saluki Graduate (1,0a)

1st Bloomfields Glenoak Laquan, 15mth black & silver dog, well shaped head with dark eye, excellent length of neck into well set shoulders, good depth of chest and length of loin, correct coat and feathering, was a little unhappy on the move today but with more confidence will do well.

Saluki Open (3,1a)

1st Burtonshaw’s Fernlark Snow Grouse At Daandazi JW ShCm, 4 yr old Cream & White bitch who was BOB today, I liked her pretty head and with well set ears, long neck, straight front and long rib cage, moved well with reach and drive.

2nd Burtonshaw’s Ir Ch Fernlark Nardini at Daandazi JW ShCm – 8 yr old black fringed red bitch, lovely old lady who can still move out, like her head and length of neck, deep chest and rear assembly, just lost out to youth today.

Rhodesian Ridgeback Open (1,1a)

1st Hall’s Sharuf Dream Maker, 5yr old bitch, presented a pleasing outline, well shaped head with good length of muzzle and correct bite, long neck into clean shoulders, good deep chest and strong through the loin, moved out well. BOB.

Borzoi Open (2,0a)

1st Conroy’s Quarentas Lifes First Love At Enolam, 3yr old red & white bitch, correct long head slightly domed, dark eye and strong jaw, straight front with tight elbows, well muscled quarters used to advantage on the move, BOB.

2nd Conroy’s Donskoi Nochka Of Enolam, 7 yr old tricolour bitch, pleasing head and arched neck, clean shoulders and good depth of chest, well tucked up, close decision just preferred the movement of 1st.

Basset Hound Open (1,0a)

1st Brunskill’s Diheath Koala, 11 mth old red & white bitch, nice young girl with a pretty head, with long low set leathers, arched neck, well placed shoulders, good bone and feet, a little difficult to assess her movement but shows promise, BOB & BP.

Dachshund MLH Graduate (2,0a)

1st Rowell’s Emmajesk Masquerade, 8mth old shaded cream bitch who had a lot to like about her, prettiest of heads with dark eye, good length of neck, well angulated front with level topline, well ribbed and correct rear angulation and tail carrier low. She impressed on the move showing drive. BOB, BP, G2 & PG1

2nd Drady’s Jumanda’s Silver Sparkle At Indijo ShCm, 6 yr old silver dapple bitch, well shaped head with slight arch, good shoulders and upper arm, correct feet, moved out well.

Dachshund MLH Open (1,0a)

1st Bell’s Tolberg Legally Blonde JW ShCm, 2 yr old shaded cream bitch, another with a lot to like, pretty head with dark eye and correct ear set, good length of neck and correct front assembly, liked her topline and quarters used to her advantage on the move. Close decision for BOB just preferred the overall picture of the puppy.

Dachshund MSH Graduate (6,2a)

1st Bell’s Bronia Conchita at Tolberg, 8mth old black & tan bitch who presented a good outline, well shaped head, with dark eye and strong jaw, sufficient neck into correct shoulders, good bone and feet, well ribbed and excellent topline held on the move. She was a little unsure on the move today but sound all ways. BOB, BP & PG3

2nd Mason’s Ayla Starlight, 9 mth old chocolate & tan bitch, pleasing head and good length of neck, good front assembly, strong through the rear, moved ok. Preferred the overall picture of 1st.

3rd Fieke’s Lustrum Daydream Believer

Dachshund MSH Open (2,0a)

1st Fieke’s Lustrum Cushendall, 3yr old black & tan dog, another who presented a pleasing picture, long head with slight arch, dark eye and well set ear, good length of neck and pleasing shoulders and quarters used to moved out well, just preferred the overall outline of the puppy for BOB but a close decision.

2nd Upton’s Denval Temptation JW, 2yr old red bitch, I note from the catalogue she has the same sire as 1st and many of the same comments apply, good head and neck, sound through the front and pleasing topline, just preferred the movement of the dog in this class.

Dachshund LH Graduate (1,0a)

1st Forte’s Whartona Dominico, 6yr old red dog, nice head but would prefer a darker eye, sufficient neck, good shoulders, well ribbed with topline held on the moved but would prefer a little more animation, BOB.

Dachshund LH Open (1,0a)

1st Forte’s Whartona Fergustus, 5yr old shaded red dog, who I see is a repeat mating of his kennel mate and many of the same comments apply, not the length of head of his brother, good neck and shoulder, well ribbed, moved out well just preferred the topline of his brother on the move.

Dachshund SH Graduate (1,0a)

1st Gatheral-Graham’s Phaeland Secret Delivery, 10mth red dog with the best of heads, good length of neck, correct shoulders and upper arm, well muscled body and parallel behind, moved well but did not like his change of handler in the puppy group, BP.

Dachshund SH Open (1,0a)

1st Gatheral-Graham’s Phaeland Society Dancer, 3yr old red bitch, pretty head of correct proportions, arched neck and well angulated front assembly, well ribbed with plenty of heart room, moved well. BOB

Greyhound Open (1,0a)

1st Bradley’s Troika Club naf, 2yr old black dog, pleasing head with dark eye, good length of neck, straight front although tended to be out at the elbow on the move, good deep chest and well sprung ribs, long back and well muscled thighs used to his advantage. BOB

Basenji Open (1,0a)

1st McGee’s Lilly Star Donbass taf, 9mth old red & white bitch, well shaped pretty head with the desired wrinkle, dark pigment and well set ears, good length of neck, shoulders a little upright, good pasterns and feet, moved ok. BOB

Irish Wolfhound Open (4,0a)

1st Morris’s Ilja Di Castello Berge Of Draymorr (IMP DEU), 1yr old grey brindle dog with correct head proportions, lovely dark eye and good pigmentation, excellent length of neck and good front assembly, long back and well muscled thighs, moved with ease. BOB & G4

2nd Allitt’s Madigan The Magnificent of Jascarah, 2yr old brindle dog, pleasing head and neck, good deep chest and elbows well under, good bend of stifle, just prefer the movement of 1st today.

3rd Wilkes Lindall Paris for Strickenoak

Res Iveson’s Luck Of The Irish, 7mth brindle dog, a very raw puppy who would benefit from some schooling, pleasing head and good strong neck, deep chest with plenty of heart room, would prefer more muscled thighs but only a baby, difficult to assess on the move. BP

Afghan Open (1,0a)

1st Morrison’s CH Tulak Under Siege JW ShSM, 6yr old shaded mask gold dog, easy to see why this boy has his title, best of heads with dark eye and low set ears, good length of neck into well laid shoulders, excellent upper arm and straight front, good spring of rib and deep chest, well muscled thighs and good bend of stifle, moved around the ring with presence, delighted to award him BOB and G1.
