2nd Thackers Swannery Blue Rose

3rd Williams Richecca Colour of Love

Open – 4 (0)

What a headache this class was, really top class exhibits, any one a winner and my decision came down purely to movement on the day.

1st Deerings Skylark of Rosetimber (BOB), this gorgeous orange bitch is a real showgirl, a dream in the ring as she just enjoys herself so much and shows herself off to an advantage. Very well made, beautiful chiselled head with kind expression, excellent lay of shoulders, great bend of stifle and very powerful drive, kept her topline on the move and a wonderful slashing tail to complete the picture.

2nd Whittingtons Juldeane Excalibur ShCM

3rd Bennets Mariglen Blue Star

Irish Red & White Setters

Post Graduate – 2 (0)

1st Walpoles Gallybob Quantum Leap (BOB), Substantial 16 month old dog, well off for bone, moved very well whilst enjoying the whole experience. Gorgeous head and expression, dark eye and rich colour, lovely lay of shoulder and rear angulation, excellent tail set.

2nd Newmans Taxus Golden Stage (BP)

Open – 2 (0)

1st Walpoles Lovenjoel Ice Cool, lovely head on this dog with melting expression, great spring of rib, good lay of shoulders, nice size overall, moved ok but not as well as my BOB in the challenge.

2nd Newmans Taxus Forest Gem

Irish Setters

Puppy – 3 (0) What a fantastic class, three gorgeous babies, all at different stages of development but everything as it should be, could have taken any one of them home with me and will watch their progress with interest.

1st Wilkins Margretwoods Pooh Bear (BP) Pleased to hear that she was awarded Gundog Puppy Group 2, 11 month exquisite bitch, very well schooled. Lean head with dark eyes and kind expression, very elegant both standing and on the move, lovely tight feet, in beautiful coat and condition, very well made throughout which showed when she powered around the ring.

2nd Framptons Strathmead Noella

3rd Randles Forfarian’s Hidden Secret with Rionore

Yearling – 4 (0)

1st Halls Riverbrue Ophelia at Glennara, 14 months bitch, showed well to win over the boys, in lovely coat and condition. Another beautiful head and expression, very feminine, no doubting that she is all female. Good lay of shoulders, well sprung ribs, excellent back end which enabled her to move so well around the ring. Lovely tailset, tail was held perfectly on the move.

2nd Parsons Suteresett Tom Collins at Bransett

3rd Russells Strathmead Huckleberry

Post Graduate – 2 (0)

1st Parsons Braidmount Lady of the Lake at Bransett, 2 year old bitch, well boned and in beautiful coat. Lovely shape to this one when standing and she kept her topline on the move. All round a nice bitch, really liked her.

2nd Harrisons Caskeys Summer Breeze

Open – 2 (0)

1st Richardsons Kirkavagh Hernando (BOB), gorgeous 6 year old boy in full coat. Substantial lad with ample bone, tight feet, excellent angulation and great shoulders. He has the most gorgeous expression and he knows just how beautiful he is, he kept his topline on the move and strode out as if he owned the ring. Loved him.
