1st     AMBERSLADE SINGAPORE SLING AT AMENBURY SHCM (MRS F LEE) a sizeable typy 7½ year old mature male who has a pleasing head shape and expression which together with his overall body shape presented a very satisfactory picture. In commendable condition for a veteran, well bodied with plenty of substance and being broad over the loin. Well boned, true and parallel in front and nicely let down hindquarters. Moved with a free easy action.

1st     SPARKAWAY SUPER SONIC (MISS T COWLEY) a 10month old black who has a clean, well defined outline which, even at his young age, is balanced and in proportion height to length. He has the look of quality having moderate bone and a well developed body. His whole appearance is set off by his very attractive head and expression. Sound true front, slightly tighter than 2nd, with pleasing width across the fore-chest. Satisfying in top line and under line. Firm moderate hindquarters and stands well out over the ground. Moved well and free with good front extension and parallel rear action and the better mover of the class. Best Puppy in Breed.

2nd     NINJA ISLANDER WARRIOR DUE REVERE SHANIZOLO (IMP FRA) (MR & MRS DAVIES) a 9 month old very attractive black whose appearance is enhanced by his excellent coat and clear white neck and fore-chest markings. Masculine typical shaped head with an attentive expression. True well boned front and desirable substance of body. Possesses lots of promise and has all the basic make and shape to develop into a quality adult. Free moving in side gait but needing to settle in front action.

1st     JOTARS SHIMMERING DESIRE (MISS S J GLADWELL) a very smart 10 month old rich liver young male who is satisfyingly developed in bone and body; he is very attractive in head and is alert and attentive giving a pleasant breed typical expression. Well constructed forequarters being true in fore-legs and having flexible pasterns. Balanced and pleasing in overall body proportions; body has substance all over and especially across the loin. Still has scope

to develop and improve. Free, active on the move but needs to settle to be more precise in his overall movement.

1st     JOTARS LIES AND DECEIT WITH ALFSDEN (MS J MILLIGAN) a 19 month old obviously masculine, good sized young male. Strong and ‘all male’ in head. Broad chest and true in front although tends to faintly turn out from pastern. Well boned structure and well covered body tending to look slightly long in the back but has balance, definite angulations front and rear. Free moving in side gait although would prefer more reach in front.

1st     AOIRISTAR SUPERNOVA (IKC) (MISS L VIRGO) a well constructed 2 year old striking Black male who is overall of slightly better proportions than 2nd. Impressed in side profile; Masculine typically shaped head totally in proportion to the rest of him; attractive intelligent and attentive expression. Parallel ideal boned front, firm bodied with good spring and depth leading to moderately let down hindquarters of acceptable length and width. Free moving with good front and rear action and best mover of the class.

2nd     AMBERSLADE MORSE CODE FOR AMENBURY (MRS F LEE) a dark, blue merle 2 year old male who has an overall shapely side profile although would prefer a bit less overall length. Workmanlike head features and keen expression with noticeable ears. Moderate in bone, true front of proportional width which I preferred to 3rd. Sturdy in body with spring and obviously ribbed well back. Well let down hindquarters. Free moving in side gait but needing to be more precise in front action.

1st     SOLOYAL VALENTINO (MISS J SUCH) a very smart, shapely 2 year old who is impressive in presentation and side profile outline. Handsome head which has clean lines and of pleasing proportions and shape which edged him over 2nd. True parallel front with good fill-in and width across the chest. Well proportioned body and just enough firm body cover, strong loin and level top-line. Purposeful movement with free side gait and true action front and rear, moved the better in this class.

2nd     HARMONYHILLS TICKET TO RYDE TO CHAKONA (IMP USA) (MR D & MRS C TURNER) a rising 5 year old mature male of more substantial build both in bone and body than 1st. Masculine head but for me needing to be more refined, set on a strong, moderately long neck. Proportional width all through. Sturdy well coated body, moderate in hindquarters and rear angulations. A free, eager mover with true front action but was close behind.

1st     ALLMARK THE SEQUEL JW SHCM (MR N & MRS A, MR A ALLAN & WINFROW) an imposing 18 month old Blue Merle of striking appearance; presented in commendable coat and condition. Handsome, breed typical head and expression; soundly constructed in front, body and hindquarters. Excellent proportions in length/height and ideal width all through. Firm in body and in top line with a compatible under line. Stands “four square” and presents a distinctive refined, breed typical picture. Moved with the gait and action that compliments his construction. My Dog CC Winner.

2nd     CH/INT/LUX/IR CH AUSTRIAN DREAM BE WELL SUITED OF WISPAFETE JW SHCM I (MISSES H M & S JONES & GIBBONS) an upstanding r/w well-built 4 year old of unmistakeable quality both in conformation and breed characteristics. Heavier in bone and more sturdy in body than 1st although still has pleasing proportions and balance. Masculine shapely head, strong forequarters and neck, full-bodied width all-through. Powerful free movement. My Reserve Dog CC winner.

1st     SOLOYAL SECRET ROMANCE (MISS J SUCH) a 14 month r/m who is well grown of good size and has pleasing bone and body development. Attractive head which is ideal shape and proportions producing an attentive breed typical expression. Soundly constructed in front/forequarters, pleasing width across the chest. In side profile she has the proportions and balance which is pleasing to the eye. Moved well and free with extension in front and drive behind.

1st     ALLMARK BLACK SHEEP (MR N & MRS A ALLAN) a real “buttery” 6 month old b/w who has all the basics in structure, breed characteristics and conformation that you desire in a puppy. She has the most attractive head which is enhanced by her eye-catching markings. Preferred head shape, bite and head proportions to those of 2nd. She is well boned and has the essential puppy body substance to grow on and develop to her best advantage. Even at this young age she has all the angles in the right places. Moved with confidence but typical puppy style. Lost out to the more mature male for best puppy in breed.

2nd     TRIFORCE MORNING MIST OVER SHEPWOOD (MRS G M BROWN) a 9 month old b/m longer caste youngster who has a feminine head although would like more fill-in below the eyes for softer lines to head profile. True well made and well boned in front. Pleasing substance of body with good spring and ribbing. Overall she has balance in angulations and has a workmanlike appearance. Moved with enthusiasm but needs to tighten to have a more true action.

2nd     ALLMARK ONE NIGHT ONLY (MRS B MCNEIL) a 14 month old medium sized attractive well balanced bitch. Pleasing feminine head set well on to good length strong neck. True front although tended to be stood narrow and turn out from pasterns. Well made with good body substance, firm top-line and ok angulations front and rear.  Moved with a true front action but tended to be close and loose behind.

1st     AMBERSLADE SANTA ANA BREEZE (MRS COUTTS) a very smart feminine junior bitch who has quality in breed features and conformation. She has especially pleasing rear action on the move. Attractive head and expression. Well boned true front, balanced in angulations front/rear, pleasing length and proportions of body. Moved well and free.

2nd     MISS ATOMIC BOMB ELVIKAM (IMP POL) (MISS V HADDOCK) a good sized 23 month old B/w who is slightly longer caste than 1st and more heavily built in body. Feminine well proportioned head with an intelligent interested expression but I would prefer less rounded skull Well bodied with good spring and depth leading to moderately let down hindquarters of good length and width. Moved with a free action but needs to be more precise in foot-fall.

1st     WILDUC SYNDICATE (MR D & MISS R WILSON & CUDWORTH) a shapely 2 year old who has an elegant outline and who has pleasing proportions in length to height. I liked her head shape and head proportions. Striking markings but I would prefer a less prominent white blaze. Well constructed in front/forequarters with a true moderately bone front of pleasing width. Soundly constructed and firm in body. Stands well over the ground projecting a stable, sturdy appearance. Very satisfying on the move.

1st     SAUSSUREA GRAND ENTRANCE BY SHULUNE (IMP PL) (MISS J M FORT) a very smart 18 month old red who has an impressive appearance excelling in balance and proportions being slightly longer than high. She has a beautiful breed typical head is well constructed all through. She is sound in front and forequarters and is of pleasing size with a firm, sturdy body and is satisfyingly muscled. Notable spring and depth of chest and having a firm level top line with proportional length of back. Looks to be coming into her prime and is shown in excellent coat and condition. Moved the best of this class. Reserve Bitch CC.

2nd     WILDUC NEXT TO ME AT SPOTARTON SHCM (MRS J, MR P MR R & MRS N LONGHURST & GREGORY) a rising 2½ year old r/w of similar look to 1st. She is smart, attractive and workmanlike and is satisfying in side profile appearance. She is of good length and is balanced in angulations front and rear. Attractive head and eye, good length of neck, true front, substance of body and nicely let down hindquarters. Moved freely but not as precise as 1st and needing to settle in front action.

She has quality in conformation with all her breed qualities combined to produce a top quality example of the breed. Super profile showing off her balance, size, proportions and firm level top line. Attractive head and expression, strong well set neck flowing to her firm well made body. Moved with freedom and easy, sound action having true extension in front and drive behind. My Bitch CC and Best of Breed winner and later Pastoral Group 2.

2nd     CH ALLMARK RAZZLE DAZZLE EM AT JAZDAZE (MRS J M & MR N M COLLINS & UDEN) another 2½ year old striking b/m who is not surprisingly similar in style, make and shape to 1st as I note she is her litter sister. Similar in appearance and quality of conformation and similar comments apply although she is broader and has more cover over the loin. Moves with great purpose and freedom but tending to very slightly crab in forward motion.
