Poodle (Standard)

Judge:Mrs Sandra Dennison (replacing MR ROGER BAYLISS).

Thanks to the committee for inviting me to step in at late notice to judge standard poodles instead of Roger Bayliss who unfortunately wasn’t well enough to judge. Roger had drawn a very good entry of 76

Overall general fitness and presentation was good, I would just like to see more made of the first band (bubble) to make a better expression but that’s cosmetic.

First D & J WILLIAMS - QUARLFOX TILLERMAN

6 months old White, good pigment, nice fine head with dark eyes, nice to go over deep chest. Well prepared , nice feet and moved very well.

8 months old Black, nice fine head, lovely expression, nice to go over, a picture standing but didn’t move as well as 1 today.

Black. Masculine head -not course, nice expression, good angles, nice tail set, good feet, moved well. Needs a little more weight.

Second Miss V Main - CHALKWELL HAPPY HOUR

Lovely brown, fine head, lovely expression, good to go over. Trained to perfection, moved well. Well presented. Needs more weight - a little fine all through.
