AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERDS – J - Two pups who were very different in type. 1, BP and BOB Allan’s Allmark Black Sheep. Heavy in bone and coat, strong level topline, excellent depth of chest, good width of skull, strong foreface, eyes well set and with dark pigment, stood square on well cushioned feet, moved steadily. 2 & RBOB Gillingham’s Silverdreams Aussies Your Destiny at Parkgrove (Imp). Very feminine in head, moderate stop, medium bone, good length of neck, straight forelegs, firm topline and carried level on the move, well presented, moves with reach and good rear drive when she settled and stopped pacing.
SHETLAND SHEEPDOGS
P – 1 & BP Moores’ Sanscott Limited Edition. Heavily coated male which actually distracts from a nice balanced outline but beautifully presented and handled, balanced head, well set tipped ears, good shape of eyes and good length of muzzle, good lay back of shoulder and length of upper arm, nice depth of chest and firm body, strong rear, moved positively and soundly in all directions. 2 Moore’s Sanscott Sweet Edition, makes a super picture in profile and a very pretty and pleasing head with tipped ears that were sensitive in use, super topline and sloping croup, well set tail, not as good shoulders as her brother. 3 Heels’ Guxel Golden Star. J – 1 Clarke’s Ruscombe A Moment In Time. Well presented blue merle giving an inquisitive expression, well set and nice shape to ears that were continuously being used. Strong front assembly, level topline, could strengthen in rear legs when viewed from the back, long low set tail, covered the ground with long easy strides and low tail carriage. PG – 1 & RBOB Fransham’s Sheltysham Bedazzle at Franmead. Presented a balanced outline, had a sweet expression and firm topline with the correct sweep over the loins and slope to the croup, low set tail and carried low on the move, moderate in bone, good coat and feathering, moved soundly in all directions, ears could be smaller. 2 Stock’s Shemist Dark Angel. Close up to 1 but much longer cast therefore lost overall balance, strong straight front, small well cushioned feet, good head and expression, laid back shoulders and good spring of rib, good topline and rear angulation, moved with drive and with low tail carriage. 3 Norris’ Clanavon Love In A Mist. O 1 & BOB Morrison’s Jontygray Evening Star at Ketim. Pretty black tri who carried her head proudly, moderate bone, strong forelegs, oval feet with good thickness of pads, good width of front, spring of rib, topline and turn of stifle, tail set low and carried low, strong rear hocks and moved very well around the ring. 2 Fransham’s Jontygray Gilt Edged For Franmead JW. Really liked this male for substance and type, he was in beautiful coat and condition and was finished with a refined head, good breadth and depth of skull, good eye shape and foreface, tipped ears, very nice body proportions, sadly he appeared to be unsound in rear movement on this surface today.
AV PASTORAL NSC – J 1 and BP Benton’s Oakestelle Artemis, Smooth Collie. I judged this bitch only four months ago and she’s really turning out to be a quality girl, very feminine in head with well set tipped ears, continuously using them for her handler, good shape and strength of foreface, moderate length of neck set on well into shoulders that were laid back, strong forelegs, good depth of chest, ribbing and topline, nice rise of underline and strong loins, well made rear with long low set tail, really excels on the move where she demonstrates free and tireless driving action. 2 Pullen & Rutland & Porter’s Honky Tonk Blues for Meadowbears, OES. Another quality puppy and I was splitting hairs between these two. In super coat and condition, good head, breadth and muzzle, muscular neck of correct length, super straight front, good upper arm, nice spring of rib, strong quarters, another who moved very well around the ring and is a promising prospect! PG 1 & BAVNSC Naismith’s Zottels Honey Moon at Shaggybo, OES. Quality exhibit with a square looking profile shape, straight front, strong square head with excellent pigment and well set eyes, good reach of neck, laid back shoulders, good depth of chest with excellent spring of rib, good rear assembly, in excellent coat and condition, stood on strong cushioned feet, moved well with extension, pleased to see she won the group. 2 Cowley’s Somogyi Betyar Bodza at Kashbeluli (Imp), Puli. What a super girl who moved so well around the ring, excellent cords, lovely head proportions, good pigment, very straight front, short in the back and with good rear angulation, tail well set and moved briskly around the ring with plenty of reach and drive. O 1 & RBAVNSC Benton’s Oakestelle Venus De Milo, Smooth Collie. Another quality exhibit from this owner, she was in excellent coat and condition, full of breed type, very nice head, ears and expression, correct slightly sloping front pasterns, lovely body shape, good bend of stifle, strong rear, good length of tail, moved very well in all directions. 2 Henshaw & Gardner’s Tyngeli Snow White For Magikus, Puli. Beautifully presented and super individual cording which covered the body and head, she excels on the move where she literally glides around the ring with a super smooth and free action, proud head and good tail set, really unlucky to come up against 1.
GUNDOG GROUP
1 Thomas & Upton’s Sh Ch Bowdonia Seraphina JW ShCM, WSS. Super quality bitch who is in wonderful condition and coat, well off for bone, stunning head, firm body, good front and rear assembly and covered the ground with effortless stride, so pleased to see her go BIS under a gundog specialist. Well done. 2 Harris’ Harrisburg Kiss The Girl JW ShCM, Am Cocker. Very close up to one and presented in beautiful coat and condition, appealing head, super strong topline and very powerful mover, very well handled. 3 Finch’s Int Sh Ch/NL Ch Silvestre Last Tango with Silberliss JW, Weimaraner. 4 Brooksmith & Adams’ Nightgold Blackavar, Pointer.

WORKING GROUP
1 Robb’s Ch/Int/Bel/Lux/Ger/NL Ch Under Icewolf’s Star Inditarod JW ShCM, Alaskan Malamute. Could hardly believe my ears when the handler said this dog was 9 years old, certainly not showing his age at all and looks in his prime, looks a picture standing with that typical waving plume, strong body and powers round the ring with reach and drive. In glorious coat and condition and superbly handled. A credit to his owners. 2 Lainchbury’s Ashlain Trypiti JW ShCM, Dobermann. Have judged this super bitch just four months ago where I gave her BOB from a good entry, my opinion hasn’t changed and she moved even better today as she had a huge ring to power around, she makes a really excellent balanced shape in the profile and has a very appealing head too. 3 Hurren’s Angel Kingdom Cake Caramel Ekkor Shaleodust (Imp), Leonberger. 4 Payne’s Birleyvale Bellissima, Boxer.
WORKING PUPPY GROUP
1 Jones’ Korifey Dark Night, Dobermann. Out of the drawer this one who was schooled to perfection, plenty of substance and type and a very nice head developing for just a youngster, stands so square on compact feet, moved very accurately for and aft and held his topline in the side gait. Look forward to watching this ones progress. 2 Payne & Flintoft’s Boxania Spice Guy at Birleyvale, Boxer.Very nice headpiece with a strong jaw and neat ears, excellent length of neck and laid back shoudlers, strong forelegs, firm topline, good bend of stifle and moved very well. 3 Self’s Endlessacres Angelas Angel, Bullmastiff. 4 Bodle’s Debbollinby Just Kruzin’ Into Kitarn, Leoberger.
