Coventry (Foleshill) Canine Association open show, Sunday 7th November

Thank you to the club for the invitation and an excellent lunch, to my very capable stewards and the exhibitors for bringing their clean well-presented dogs. A privilege to go over them.

Puppy Dog/Bitch 2/2

1st Dickson’s Cheechako Miss Mouse in Bernavia B 7 months. Attractive feminine puppy, balanced outline, medium arched neck, level topline, tail well set arched over back. Dark nicely shaped eyes with well-placed mobile ears, correct dentition. Straight moderately boned front with neat feet, moderate spring of rib. Good top coat with undercoat coming. Lively and enjoying herself. Just pipped 2nd to the post on movement, more controlled and even front and back, smooth and energetic in profile. BP

2nd Fraser’s Tawvale Koyo B 10 months. Another very attractive youngster, pretty face, good stop, neat ears, nicely arched neck. Level top line, moderate angulation. White double coat. Just needs to tighten up on the move.

Post Graduate Dog/Bitch 2/2

1st Gray’s Charney Maleda B White standoff coat, arched neck, level top line. Good stop with wedge shaped head. Correct dentition. Lovely temperament. Movement better than 2, particularly from behind. Smooth and energetic. RBOB

2nd Warren’s Kessaku Hugo Boss D Very masculine head, good depth of chest, arched neck, level top line. Good clean teeth. Bright white coat.

Open Dog/Bitch 4/2

1st Dickson’s Kessaku Yum Yum in Bernavia B Well-proportioned balanced, good outline. Correct size. Excellent muscled rear quarters, well boned, good feet, good teeth, nicely shaped dark eye. Smooth energetic movement. White double coat. Good chest, moderately arched neck. Ideal temperament. BOB

2nd Warren’s kessaku Scooby Doo D Bold friendly dog with masculine head and alert expression. Broad deep chest with straight back. Level croup with high set tail.
