I must say thank you for such a quality entry, I appreciated the opportunity to go over such lovely dogs.

Puppy (8, 4abs)

1st Garget & Morriss Goldmarker Coming Home to Garvin (AI)

Quality boy who has a gorgeous head, good proportions, lovely pigment, and eye colour giving a soft expression. He has a good reach of neck, well placed shoulders, good length of upper with, strong and firm in topline, well-muscled quarters, super bone, and feet, in gleaming coat and condition. When he pulls himself together and settles into his stride he moves really well. BP

2nd Windsor & Bradd’s Shanlimore Moonlite Rider with Gaytonwood

Different type but still a lovely puppy, perhaps not a forward as winner but presents a lovely picture. Lovely head, super pigment and eye colour with kind expression, another with good reach of neck, well angulated front, good topline, well-developed quarters, good bone, and feet. Moved steadily but just felt he needed to strengthen a bit more in rear and settle into his stride.

3rd Laylands Applecote Love in Disguise

Junior 5 (2abs)

1st Cruttwell’s Ashbyglen Enchantee

The first thing that struck me about this young lady on the day was her symmetrical balance & quality. Pale bitch with beautiful head & expression; she flowed from head to tail, lovely reach of neck, well angulated front, strong firm level topline, short loin, well developed quarters. She was a joy to watch on the move; a sound & level mover with long and easy stride, lovely tail carriage to complete the picture. Not quite the finish in her coat yet as still a youngster but I was delighted to award her BOB and hear she went on to win the Gundog Group and Reserve Best in Show. I wish her much luck for the future and will watch with interest.

2nd Garget & Morriss Goldmarker Coming Home to Garvin (AI)

3rd Riley’s Wylloh Goldikova

Yearling (2,1abs)

1st Cruttwell’s Ashbyglen Enchantee

Post Graduate (5, 2abs)

1st Cruttwell’s Ashbyglen Enchantee

2nd Robbins & Rowark Brekswood Lady Eleanor

Lots to like about this bitch, lovely head & expression but would prefer slightly better eye shape, good reach of neck, level topline, matching angles front and rear. She moved steadily with drive and was straight and true.

3rd Taylor & Tenn’s Tera Fiora Vlanti Delimar (Imp Rus)

Open Dog (4,2abs)

1st Laylands Applecote Hearts Desire

Lovely head & expression on this dog, good reach of neck, well placed shoulders, correct return of upper arm, good strong firm topline, short loin, well developed quarters, good bone & feet, moved well with good reach & drive

2nd Riley’s Wylloh Lost in Translation JW

Another lovely boy who pushed winner hard, slightly stronger in head, but kind expression, good reach of neck, well placed shoulders, strong firm topline, well-developed quarters, good bone & feet, was bit full of himself today, moved well with reach & drive but was flying his tail which just spoilt the picture.

Open Bitch (6, 2ab)

1st Robbins & Rowark Quakerhall Lady Bountiful by Brekswood JW

I really thought this bitch had the most beautiful feminine head with dark eye and good pigment, she had a lovely clean neck, with correct front and good bone and feet, strong and firm in top-line well developed quarters, like my BOB she moved level with a free and easy gait covering the ground effortlessly. Presented a quality picutre RBOB

2nd List’s Haydengold Rumour Has it JW

Another quality girl, lovely head & expression, well-made throughout, strong topline, well-developed quarters, moved out really well with good reach & drive just not the coat and finish of the winner today.

3rd Booth’s Alumbeck’s Holly Rainbow
