AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOG

1. Wright’s Millbelle Kayenta. Bitch of nearly 3 years, strongly made head with feminine expression, good eyes and strong muzzle, sound front with good bone and feet, good depth and correct body proportions, unfortunately handler wasn’t moving dog to advantage but saw some good profile movement when moving at the correct speed, presented in excellent condition.

2. Tune/Colton’s Rottalma Close To You. Nicely presented veteran bitch of nearly 8 years. Pleasing head and expression, would like a little better length of neck and layback, good bone, she moved soundly in profile and on the out and back, presented in well muscled condition with good coat.

1. Haynes’ Yarraman Let’s Smoke Em Out with Carerra. Soundly constructed bitch of 2½ years showing some lovely free and accurate movement. Lovely head with feminine expression, good eyes and ears, strong muzzle, lovely front and rear angulation with sound, well muscled top-line, lovely outline, BOB.

Robins’ Mournebrake Cold As Ice. Very playful and confident youngster of 11 months, appealing head with good pigment and darkest of eyes, nicely angulated, he moved out well with plenty of attitude, good tail-set and body proportions, cords forming well and presented in excellent condition, BP.

1. Bodle’s Tyngeli Make Believe at Vilmos. Nicely made bitch of 2 years with lovely feminine head and dark eye, nicely angulated all through with correct bone, good top-line and well muscled, cords forming well and in excellent condition, moved out well in all directions.

1. Watts’ Ch. Moonshadow Mud Bug (imp USA). An immaculately presented mature male of nearly 6 years, lovely head with pleasing expression and excellent pigment, good neck and shoulders with sound top-line, correct bone, well muscled all through, he moved effortlessly around the ring, BOB and pleased to see him be awarded G2 in a large pastoral group.

2. Henshaw’s Ch Magikus Belatrix Black. Another nicely presented exhibit of 5½ years who was absolutely full of herself today. Feminine head with dark eye and excellent pigment, good angulation front and rear with correct bone and body proportions, excellent well cared for cords, presented and shown well.  

3. Branch’s Zaydah The Prettiest Song Jabenezer.

1. Wheeler’s Makaylen Sweet Vienna. Nicely presented young bitch of 16 months in excellent coat for her age, feminine head and expression, good pigment and strong muzzle, good depth of chest, correct rib and loin, nice outline on the stand, she showed well in all directions.

2. Castle’s Molyneux Sweet Dreams. Another nice young bitch of 11 months with feminine head and good pigment, lovely body shape and good top-line, well angulated all through with good muscle tone, a little loose in rear movement which will no doubt tighten as this bitch matures, a promising youngster, BP & PG2.

1. Cartwright’s Molyneux Ladies Night at Applejem. Promising bitch of 2½ years, strong but feminine head with nice dark eye and good pigment, nicely angulated front and rear with good depth of chest and correct body proportions, moved well enough in all directions, presented in good coat and condition.

1. Woods/Pointon’s Vigilat’s Rhapsody in Blue via Bumblebob, Ir JCh (imp NLD). Strongly made male of nearly 4 years, good head and pigmentation, strong muzzle and kind expression, correct bone, good depth of chest, lovely shape standing and moving, given the size of the ring he moved out well in profile and coming and going, beautifully presented in tip top condition, BOB.

2. Hodgson’s Ragglebarn Old Blue Eyes. Male of nearly 3 years where I preferred the head of my class winner, nicely angulated with good depth of chest and body proportions, well muscled but a little unsettled on the move.

1. Leggett’s Meldale Diamond Moon. Liked this 4½ year old bitch very much for her shape and movement, very feminine in head and expression, dark eye, when settled moved out well in all directions, good body proportions with strong loin, well muscled all through, presented in lovely condition. 

2. Naismith’s Shaggybo Beautiful Dream. Another nice bitch of nearly 2 years who moved out soundly, nicely angulated with correct body proportions, looked well standing and moving, sound top-line and good muscle tone, shown in excellent coat.

1. Irving’s Born To Be Your Stars Align at Twinan (imp). Lovely male puppy of nearly 9 months, full of confidence with a sprinkling of attitude, and didn’t he know it? Appealing head with lovely expression, correctly set ears and lovely eye, good neck and shoulders with correct body proportions, nicely angulated in rear, he moved out well with purposeful reach and drive, presented in excellent coat and condition, pleased to award him BOB & BP and later see him awarded the Pastoral Puppy Group and then BPIS, a very promising future for this lovely young man.

1. Irving’s Born To Be Your Caramel Popcorn at Twinan (NAF TAF). 2 year old bitch with feminine head and expression, lovely eye and ear-set (when she used them!) good neck and front angulation, excellent top-line and well muscled all through, moved out well. 

2. Leggerton’s Anwyl In The Limelight at Solaw (imp AUS). 2 year old bitch with feminine head and expression where I would have liked a better front overall, nice body proportions, she moved out ok but improved angulation would have shown better reach and drive, presented in lovely condition.

1. Irving’s Born To Be Your Fkn Perfect for Twinan (imp HUN). Male of 21 months, masculine head and expression with good angulation front and rear, good top-line, presented in lovely coat and condition, moved well when settled into his stride.

1. Bridges’ Liskarn Love Of My Life. Loved this 7 month old bitch for her construction and balance, very feminine in head with gorgeous expression, good length of neck with well angulated front and good bone, lovely depth, good rib and loin with excellent top-line, beautifully angulated in the rear, very well balanced for such a baby, she moved out with excellent reach and drive, in fabulous coat and condition, BP and PG3.

2. Bridges’ Liskarn Can’t Buy Me Love. Lovely 7 month old male, where I see this is the litter brother to my class winner, many of the same comments apply, nicely angulated all through with sound top-line and good muscle, moved out well in all directions, just preferred the slightly more accurate rear movement of 1 today.

1. Peacocke’s Bobb Vom Durrbachler Wald NAF TAF. Strongly made male of 15 months who stood well in outline, broad skull and strong muzzle with lovely expression and dark eye, good length of neck with well angulated shoulders, sound top-line and well muscled rear, he moved out with good reach and drive.

2. Bridges’ Liskarn Addicted To Love. Promising bitch puppy of 7 months, feminine head with lovely expression, dark eye and good breadth to skull, correct body proportions and good bone, she moved out well, just a little loose in rear at this stage.

1. Watson’s Stepdashar Spring Blossom. 21 month old bitch of nice proportions, lovely feminine head with gentle, kind expression, good neck and well laid shoulders, appealing outline, she moved out well both in profile and on the out and back, presented in excellent, well toned condition. 

2. Worrall’s Fortonpark Sweet Dreams at Oakbern. Another nice example of this breed, 18 months with appealing feminine head, good breadth of skull and kind eye, good muzzle, well laid back shoulders and good front, excellent depth and correct body proportions, good bone, moved out well in all directions.

3. Wakeland’s Kernow Yester Years at Bramikdel.

A lovely class where I was spoilt for choice and hard to split hairs.

1. Green’s Waldershelf Can’t Ignora. Nicely balanced bitch of nearly 2 years, maturing into a lovely example of this breed. Lovely feminine head and expression, good eye and good strength in muzzle, deep chest with correct body proportions, nicely angulated all through, she carried herself with confidence in all directions, this bitch must surely have a very promising future, presented in excellent coat in clean, well muscled condition, BOB.

2. King’s Olivia Vom Durrbachler Wald at Arvella (imp NLD). Another lovely bitch who I felt could carry just a little less weight to improve her overall performance, feminine head but just not quite as broad as 1, nicely angulated all through with good length of neck, correct body proportions and sound top-line, she moved out well with good reach and drive, presented in immaculate coat.
