Ashfield (Notts) Canine Society

Boston Terrier.

My thanks to the Ashfield Canine Society for inviting me to judge this breed at their show.

Junior D/B (2,1): 1. RBOB Valbrown’s Fatgirlslim Rin Tin Yonya (Imp. Hun.) owned by Svitanova, Skuba & Svitan, Mrs. M., Mr. D., Mr.R..12 month old bitch. Good head with defined stop and nice muzzle length. Ears erect and correctly placed. Medium coloured eyes. Well balanced dog with front legs set in line with shoulder and straight topline. Moved well but slightly close at the rear.

Postgrad D/B (2,2): 1. Wildax Pandora’s Box owned by Turner, Ms. G.. A 14 month bitch. High set tail. Round expressive eyes, well positioned in her square skull. Good topline. Well muscled hind quarters. Good turn of stifle. Moved well. Slightly long in body. 2. Urban Hunter N’Baz Fra Det Gamle Kejserriege (Imp. Ita.) owned by Miss Davis, Miss H. 2 year old dog showing a nice brindle. Round eyes, ears erect. Good topline. Low set tail. Good turn of stifle. Movement not as good as (1).

Open D/B (2,2): 1. BOB. Texas Dream Boy owned by Svitanova, Skuba & Svitan, Mrs. M., Mr. D., Mr.R.. A 3 year old dog, well balanced shape, and very much ring aware. A delight to watch him. A solid, well muscled dog, with good width of chest. Low set tail. Round, dark eyes, well positioned in a square skull. Ears erect. Excellent turn of stifle. Moved well with a powerful stride. Deserving of BOB. 2. Urban Hunter N’Baz Fra Det Gamle Kejserriege (Imp. Ita.). Movement was noticeably better than the previous class.
