BOXER GRADUATE (5,2a)

1. Harrington, Surfstone Miss Dior – 10 month old lovely balanced female who once settled was quite the performer. Clean outline with a good arch to neck and well set on withers. Pretty head, good length and depth of muzzle, underjaw still to develop. Dark eyes with a sweet expression. Well angulated shoulders with a good turn of stifle at the rear. Once she and her handler settled, her gait was perfection. BOB – BPIB, WPG1 & RBPIS

2. McDonald, Yeteb Totally Charming – 6 month old, good size larger male. Strong head without wrinkle, muzzle in balance to head length, well set ears lying flat. Strong neck, moderate front angulation on nice sized feet, enough breadth to chest, slightly sloping topline and moderate turn of stifle, still a little loose on the move at this time.

1. Duff, Titanbears Fallen Angel – promising 6 month old black female puppy, dark eyes with tight rims and sweet expression, ears well set, nice shape to occiput, good angulation throughout, good depth of chest, level topline with slight rise over croup, broad rump, in good puppy coat which is just a little soft in texture. Still a little raw on the move but true in all aspects. BPIB

NEWFOUNDLAND POST GRADUATE (2)

1. Vaughan, Dawbryn Zefa’s Lad – 18 month old good sized black male, masculine head without being coarse, deep muzzle, well developed occipital bone, well set neat ears. Moderate angulation front and rear, depth of chest to elbows and of good breadth, straight well boned foreleg’s, nice outline and turn of stifle at the rear. In good full coat of coarse texture. Moved well at a steady gait

2. McFarlane, Way to My Dreams Chariboo (Imp POL) – 2 year old reserved smaller female, sufficient muzzle and soft expressive eyes, ears small, set well back but slightly low. Strong neck and good angulation, sufficient bone for her size and nice large feet. Clean underline and level topline, short loin and well angulated rear. A little lethargic on the move today.

NEWFOUNDLAND OPEN (2)

1. Duff, Titanbears Vainglorious JW – Judged this striking male before and he continues to mature nicely. Strong masculine head, deep short muzzle, small well set eyes and broad skull at the occiput. Just off square in profile with good angulation front and rear. Well off for bone with slightly sloping pasterns. Deep broad chest, level topline with broad rump. Moves fluidly in all aspects BOB and I was pleased to later see him awarded WG1

2. McFarlane, Way to My Dreams Chariboo (Imp POL) – As previous class

ROTTWEILER POST GRADUATE (3,1a)

1. Rogerson & Jackson, Taneven Bliss – 14 month old youngster with a pretty and calm expression, good balance of muzzle to skull length, well filled cheeks. Almond shaped dark eyes, small pendant ears well set. Solid neck, well set on shoulders. Good front angulation and well sprung ribs. Nice turn of stifle at the rear, which provided her with a powerful rear drive. BOB

2. Velcheva-Bozhkova, Taneven Alexa – 2 year old female with a nice solid construction, well angulated and just longer in body than the height at the withers. Chest depth to height of elbows with sufficient breadth, well sprung ribs and short strong coupling. Well-toned throughout. Pretty head, finer in breadth than 1st which just detracted from her overall expression.

BELGIAN SHEPHERD DOG (GROENENDAEL) PUPPY (2)

1. Maclellan, Debruix Moet Imperial – Lovely 8 month old male youngster who was very light on his feet at a brisk gait. Skull and muzzle equal in length and having parallel planes, well set ears and alert overall expression. Moderate angulation at both the front and rear gave him a perfect square outline. Held a nice top line on the move and was true away and back – BOB, BPIB

2. Thomson, Jetaime Fly me to the Moon – 7 month old female who was a little skittish on the day, pretty head with nice expression. Dark obliquely set eyes and tidy alert ears. Gentle arch to neck and overall square outline. Moderate angulation front and rear with nice tuck up to underline. Light on her feet and held a nice side gait while a little close at the rear on the away.

BELGIAN SHEPHERD DOG (GROENENDAEL) GRADUATE (3,1a)

1. Maclellan, Debruix Taste of Dimonds – 8 month old brother to previous class winner with a lot of the same qualities, Skull and muzzle equal in length and having parallel planes, well set alert ears and dark eye. Correct angulation and overall square outline, moved well in all aspects but a little more excitable and raw than his sibling. Will be very interesting to watch the pair mature.

2. Oatley & Muirhead, Jetaime Mississippi – Solid 3 year old male well off for size and bone. Masculine head but not overdone, correct planes and well chiselled below some nice dark eyes. Gentle arch to neck, in full coat of correct texture. Moderate angulation and good sized feet, slight rise over back with short strong loin. Moved at a nice gait but toed in slightly at the front.

FINNISH LAPPHUND OPEN (2)

1. Meikle & Henderson, CH Marymead Muskateer Schm – An 11 year old male who doesn’t show his age, solid construction with an expressive masculine head, broad but not excessive, nice short and strong muzzle, eye colour harmonising with coat, ears of medium size and set well apart. Well angulated and good sized tight feet. In good coat with well furnished tail, moved briskly, true, and effortlessly. BOB and very pleased to see him also receive RBIS & BVIS

2. Meikle & Henderson, Vis et Gloria Notte at Lintukoto – 3 year old female of good size and slightly longer in body than height at withers. Well proportioned skull, well set eyes, slightly round in shape and moderate stop. Ears set high and a little large for the size of her head. Good front and rear angulation with sufficient bone. Nice topline and short strong loin, out of coat today. Another who was clean and tidy on the move.

GERMANSHEPHERD DOG POST GRADUATE (1)

1. Cave, Casiann ATE – 2 year old female with a nice side profile. Nice head to muzzle length proportions, well set almond shaped eyes. High set erect ears, a little on the large side. Nice length of neck. Balanced length of shoulder and upper arm, depth of chest to elbows, would benefit from a little more breadth. Round well-arched feet. Length of body longer than height at withers. Clean on the move.

GERMANSHEPHERD DOG OPEN (2.1a)

1. Masters & Power, Droyale Sunflower Girl – 2.5 year old powerful girl. Broad head but not excessive, nice gradual taper though skull and muzzle, dark almond shaped eyes, correct dentition. Strong neck well set on shoulders, well angulated front and rear with good size of bone. Quite long in body and loin compared to height at withers. Sufficient breadth of chest and in good muscle tone throughout. Held a nice topline while gaiting with a long reach and powerful rear thrust - BOB
