Welsh Springer Spaniels

Thank you to the committee for the invitation, my two efficient stewards and to the exhibitors. A nice entry, unfortunately some absentees.

Puppy 2(1)

1st Howarth’s Ferndel Starry Eyes, just 6 months, at her first show and just right for her age. Full of breed type, pretty head with a soft sweet expression and kind dark eyes, nice chiselling to foreface, good bone and depth of rib, nicely angulated front and rear with long neck, correct lay of shoulder and upper arm. Did everything she was asked, moved happily maintaining her topline. Best Puppy in Breed.

Junior 2 (2)

Both absent

Post Graduate 3 (1)

1st Chandler’s Chanangel Jo Sugden. 18-month-old young man, very typey, beautiful balanced masculine head with dark eye. Super bone and feet, long neck leading into correctly angulated shoulders and upper arm, good depth of rib and short in loin. Looked lovely in profile, moved steadily and happily with drive maintaining his outline. A lesson in presentation, his coat glowed. Reserve Best of Breed
