Mansfield & District Canine Society- Open Show- 3rd April 2022

This was the first time that I have judged my beloved breed. First of all, I would like to thank the committee for their invitation for this appointment. I would also like to thank my steward for their support. Lastly, I’d like to say a big thank you to the exhibitors that entered their Shih Tzus, thank you for your presence.

Junior Dog or Bitch (4,1)

1st. HEY MRS LYNDA, SHIZA BRUNO SWEET DREAMS AT LYNDATZU 

11 months old black and white bitch. Head with big dark eyes giving a very lovely expression. Nice open nostrils, adequate jaw with good depth of chest and good spring of ribs for her age. Nice level topline and tail carriage, showing full pads during movement. Lovely temperament. What a happy little girl. BPOB

2nd. MAZURKIEWICZ MISS SALLIE, TYSAKE LE BAISER DU DENSTIN NAF

6 months old liver and white bitch. Delicate round head with dark eyes. Nice wide nostrils and sufficient jaw width at 6 months old. Chest depth is good for her age. Good topline with a well held tail. Unfortunately, today she did not fully present herself during her movement.

3rd. MAZURKIEWICZ MISS SALLIE, TYSAKE BAISER ARC-EN-CIEL NAF

Post Graduate Dog or Bitch (3,2)

1st. HUTLEY MRS L, BACCIBO TRULY MADLEY DEEPLY 

22 months old solid gold dog. Strong expression, musculine head with dark eyes, well positioned nose that has wide open nostrils, good mouth.Well strong bodied with a broad chest, nice level topline and carried tail.Slightly bigger than BOB. Mature male with lovely condition of the coat. RBOB

Open Dog or Bitch (4,1)

1st. HEY MRS LYNDA, SHALEHAN YASHERON (IMP BEL)

5 years old gold and white dog. A very lovely expression. He has a delicate head that is musculine at the same time, large dark eyes, wide open nostrils, square jaw.He has a well muscled body, good spring of ribs, bone as substance for its size. A very nice topline. The tail is set on high and it frames the whole dog nicely making it balanced within itself. He showed full pads during movement and the way he presented himself in the ring showed his typical arrogance. As a whole, this made me eager to look at him and attracted the eye. BOB 

2nd. MOORE MISS J, ASHMAKIN BODACIOUS SMOOTH FOR JAXTZU (IKC) JW SHCM SHCEX4

 and half years old solid gold dog. Nice boy, with good expression. Good size head, nice wide nostrils and dark large eyes. The square muzzle shapes the face nicely. Straight back, well set tail. Small chest that is a nice shape but he’s not too muscular. I wish he had more body. The hair density and texture complements the dog well. He moved steadily, showed full pads and he carried his heavily coated tail gaily over the back.3
