Many thanks to the officers and committee for the invitation and to the exhibitors for the wonderful
entry.
Siberian Husky Puppy (1)
`1st – Rogerson, Delgamo & Simms, Articskies Fernando Avec Kessem. 10 month old, This young dog
demanded attention. Correct head with almond shaped eyes and very alert expression. Well arched
neck into well placed shoulders. Good for body with a strong level topline. Correct coat and lovely
condition. His movement was very sound at this young age and pleasing side profile. Very well
handled. Best Puppy and Working Puppy Group 1
Siberian Husky Junior (2)
1st – Johnson, Kentwone Shooter At Lupinemoon, 15 month male and another wonderful exhibit full
of breed type. Very pleasing head, dark almond shaped eye and a wonderful expression. Good depth
of chest, well placed shoulders with strong arched neck. Good body, well ribbed and level topline.
Hind quarters strong and well-muscled, tail carried well. Feet tight and compact. Made the most of
the ring we had showing a lovely flowing and light action with lovely reach and drive. Pleased to award
BOB and Working Group 2

Siberian Husky Post Graduate (2)
1st – Johnson, Kentwone Shooter At Lupinemoon, See Junior critique
2nd – Bailey, Yard Snow The Winner Of Artictrail (Imp Rus). 4 year old male, unfortunately not the head
type of my winner that I would like. Pleasing front with good bone and feet. Level topline with
sufficient ribbing, well carried tail and movement was sound when viewed in all directions.

Alaskan Malamute Puppy (1)
1st – Burgess, Tolketna Top Of The World To Mountainglen. Just under a year old, quite a pleasing
bitch, lovely feminine head, well balanced, good strong neck, level topline with strong powerful hind
quarters which was displayed on the move, well coated. Pleased to award BOB and also Best Puppy
Alaskan Malamute Junior (1)

1st – Butler, Kaytoo Antartic Kuma, 10 year old male and still in very good condition for his age.
Masculine head with a dark eye. Good bone, strong body with a level topline and well-muscled
hindquarters. His topline is carried well on the move which was sound and steady when viewed in all
directions.
2nd – Burgess, Cedarcreek Forever Young At Mountainglen, 7 year old bitch with a feminine head and
pleasing eye, good arched neck leading to a level topline. Tail carriage was good, just today I preferred
the overall movement of the winner.
Doberman Open (1)
1st – Underwood, Utomia Aphrodite, 8 year old bitch and again overall in good condition. Clean
head, good ear carriage and placement. Sufficient reach of neck. Good angles front and excellent on
the rear. Moved very well and maintaining the topline. Correct coat and markings pleased to award
her BOB
Working Group
1st – Giant Schnauzer, Ch Philoma Pay Back Time For Barnsdale. Sent through by judge Mr R Bott and
could not be denied the group 1. Just typified everything about this breed and was presented to
perfection in presentation and handling.
2nd – Siberian Husky
3rd – Boxer, Britesparke Norman Moon
4th – Rottweiler, Apocalypto Famba By Rominjay

Rough Colle Puppy (1)
1st - Rose, Beldones Clementime Avec Coloratura CNAF. 8 month old bitch, with a good
balanced head, ears small giving a pleasing expression. Lovely front with good depth of chest. Overall
body shape was good. Good feet with good rear angulation and well-rounded croup. Didn’t really
move very well today which was a shame as there was a lot to like but what could be assessed was
sound to award the placings.
Rough Collie Junior – No Entries
Rough Collie Post Graduate (3, 1A)
1st – Rose – Uffspring Ultravox For Coloratura CNAF. 2 year old bitch, This bitch gave me a pleasing
head with an excellent eye shape with well-placed ears. Good front assembly with a pleasing fore
chest and good depth, firm top line into good rear angulation, overall in good coat and condition,
moved very sound with an excellent side profile. BOB
2nd – Dix, Barrenclough Diamond Skies. 2 year old male. Good masculine head, good ear set that gave
a kind expression, good front angulation. Moved well and was sound with good length of stride.

AVNSC Pastoral Puppy (4, 1A)
1st Foster, Fosterbrie Special Edition (Briard). 6 month old bitch. One of my stars of the day. Good
feminine head with a real dark eye. A pleasing front with a good depth of chest, well of for bone. Well
bodied with spring of rib. Good topline with pleasing rear angulation. For one so young she was sound
on the move with a good length of stride. Calmly and patiently handled. Best AVNSC Puppy and
Pastoral Puppy Group 1
2nd – Perkins, Snowmead Sister Sledge (AI) (Bearded Collie). 6 month old bitch and also pleasing to go
over. Good head and kind expression. Medium length neck, pleasing for body length. Nicely angulated
front and rear. Moved soundly. Also well handled.
AVNSC Pastoral Junior (4, 1A)
1st – Jay, Talraz Song Of Summer (Bearded Collie). 17 month old bitch. Good head yet retained
femineity , nice dark eye and well placed ear set. Good shoulder placement with good front on well
boned legs. Strong level topline into well-muscled hindquarters which was displayed when on the
move.
2nd – Metcalf & Willingham, Goldmali Salute Belshedo (BSD, Mallinois) 12 month old male, balanced
head proportions with well arched neck, good front and rear angulation with a strong level topline.
Movement was free and easy and pleasing on the eye in side profile.
AVNSC Pastoral Post Graduate (7, 3A)
1st - Jay, Talraz Song Of Summer (Bearded Collie) Critique as per junior class
2nd – Jay – Matamata Lorien Lady At Talraz (Bearded Collie). 2 year old slate bitch. With a lovely head
and expression, good front and fore chest with a balanced angulation front and rear, moved with
soundness and lovely in profile.
AVNSC Pastoral Open – (10, 2A)
1st – Laybourne &Johnson, Mellowdee Paws In Thyme In Dominoesdale JW (OES). 4 year old male with
fantastic head proportions, excellent pigment, good front and shoulder placement with plenty of bone
throughout. Good rear angulations, moved well with drive and purpose, preferred the head of the
first place. Best AVNSC Pastoral and Pastoral Group 1
2nd – McKinnon, Dialynne Enzo Ferrari (Australian Shepherd) 4 year old red tri who I have judged
previously. Masculine head with a dark eye and good ear placement. Strong body with good bone.
Pleasing front and rear angulations. Movement can sometimes be lazy which the handler needs to
watch.
