Puppy (9,2)

1. Towers’ Alibren Heidi High - 11 month old young bitch with a feminine balanced head and kind expression, long clean neck on welllayed back shoulders, straight front, level top line which she held on the move. Moved straight and true. BPIB

2. Foster’s Eau My Gold V D Corner Brook For Auristela (IMP NLD)- another 11 month old bitch, slightly shorter in body than first but still presents a balance overall picture. Good width and depth to her muzzle, straight front with good bone, short coupled, good turn of stifle and moved well in profile.

3. Maddison’s Jaymardy Sweet Caroline

1. Wallis’ Lamancha Roll On Good Times - young dog with a masculine head, good length of neck into well laid back shoulders, chest deep and well sprung ribs, level top line and correct rear angulation. Moved true but would like to see him use himself more.

2. Maddison’s Jaymardy Sweet Caroline- 10 month old puppy bitch, with a feminine head, straight front with enough bone, angles correct front and rear, ribs deep and well sprung, moved well holding her topline.

3. Mcneish’s Drumkilty Toodle Pip

Post Graduate (5)

1. Williams’ Auristela Lady Luck at Lamhryn- bitch with a balanced head and kind expression, correct ear set, straight front with good bone, shoulders well laid back, level topline with correct tail set which she used well on the move. Moved the truest in this class.

2. Ellis’s Tenfield Sunlock - bitch that was not as foot perfect as the first but still true coming and going. Head balanced, good bone with angulation correct front and rear, deep chest with good spring of rib and correct water resistant coat.

1. Trotter’s Baricia Bella Donna- bitch presenting a balanced outline both stacked and on the move with long free striding movement. Head and skull in the correct proportions with no coarseness. Deep chest with ample spring on rib, strong loin, level topline with muscular hindquarters. BOB.

2. Wright’s Palton Panetela- older more mature dog on a bigger frame than the first, good bone, straight front, round feet, deep chest, angulation correct front and rear, hocks well let down moved well.

1. 1 Hodgkinson’s Zorrazo Quest For Success (IMP HRV) - 11 month old puppy with a typical rustic outlook and the correct coat texture. Balance head with kind expression, straight front. Short muscular neck leading to well laid back shoulders, enough depth to his chest and well sprung ribs, hocks well let down, Moved very well when he settled with good drive from the rear. BP and pleased to see him go PG2.

2. Hodgkinson - Rutherford and Rutherford’s Zorrazo Hawaiian Douglas - Balanced throughout whether stacked or on the move. Kind expression, short neck, front and rear angulation good, short coupled and coat consistent texture. Moved very soundly from all directions.

1. Hodgkinson- Rutherford and Rutherford’s Zorrazo Cheek By Jowl With Chanderhill – one I have judged before, Feminine head with correct head proportions, parallel planes and well set ears. Good depth of body and well sprung ribs, short coupled, good topline on the move and stacked. Moved around the ring with great presence. BOB

1. Walker and Roberts’ Gloi Donn Crazy Little Thing – young compact bitch, with feminine head in proportion to body, long neck set into well laid back shoulders, good spring of rib, level topline, good turn of stifle and hocks well let down. Another that took a while to settle on the move. BOB

1. Newton’s Jaktays Vida- young bitch who is so full of breed type. Feminine head with adequate amount of furnishings, long, muscular neck, sloping shoulders, muscular body with a deep brisket and well sprung ribs. Strong hindquarters with good second thigh moved well.

2. Heslop’s Nordicwalker Wild Solitude at Bonisla – bitch on a slightly larger frame than the first and not the amount of coat, head balanced with kind expression, good bone and straight front, strong pasterns, depth to her brisket. Moved ok.

1. Elders’ Enryb Skye Blue – bitch that I have judged before and pleased to see she has continued to improve, everything in moderation. Attractive feminine head with kind expression, suitable amount of furnishings. Angulation correct from and back, level back, ribs well sprung and carried well back, with the correct wire coat all over. Moved well with strong hind driving action. BOB and pleased to see her go GP2.

2. Heslop’s Lyharr Flávio Akos For Bonisla – dog lacking in head furnishings of the first, straight well boned front, good lay of shoulders, ribs carried well back, level back, hocks well let down moved ok.

Irish Setter

Junior (1)

1. Wheeldon & Begg’s Sumaric Stir it Up - 7 months old young girl and a real baby, super outline with nothing exaggerated, balanced head and good dark eye. Straight well boned front, a good depth of brisket, front and rear angulation correct with ideally muscled hindquarters and turn of stifle, moved well when she settled. BOB, BPIB

1. Simpson’s Greendale Ash – young dog turned out in super condition, powerful and strong appearance. Balanced head, good neck length with no throatiness, sloping shoulders, straight forelegs, deep ribs, broad hips and well bent stifles. Sound on the move once he settled.

1. O’Connor’s Karlejay Gump They Live In Yu – masculine looking dog, with a typical head for the breed and the correct amount of furnishings around eyebrows and beard. Neck strong, sloping shoulders, straight front with strong pasterns, deep chest with well sprung ribs and well muscled hindquarters. Moved with drive and purpose covering the ground BOB and pleased to see him go GP3.

2. O’Connor’s Karlejay Gump Circle of Life - bitch litter sister to first super type, and a balanced outline throughout, harsh outer coat with a dense undercoat. Balanced angulation front and rear, straight front, deep chest, hindquarters well muscled and good turn of stifle, moved well.
