Breed: German Wirehaired Pointer
PGD 1(0) 1. Robson’s Glenquin Major at Yohenoak. Upstanding male of nearly 2 years, very strong head with good eye and well set ears, lovely strong neck and shoulders with good depth and forechest, firm top-line, he was presented in hard fit condition, moved out well in all directions, disappointed he was the only male entered today, BD. VB 1(0) 1. Caffel/Kavanagh’s Hushwing Laboutin to Doberway. Really liked this 8½ year old bitch who was soundly constructed all through, lovely feminine head with expressive eye and well set ears, excellent neck and shoulder placement, correct bone and feet, level top-line and free on the move, RBB & BV. JB 2(0) 1. Vine/Hassell’s Beanalren Grapevine. Very smart young bitch of just 12 months, feminine head with lovely eye and well positioned ears, excellent in forechest and good depth of brisket, nicely angulated all through with a correct bend of stifle, she was balanced and free on the move. 2. Pickering’s Bora Dreams of Little Prince. 13 months old and stood with a pleasing outline, she had a feminine head and expression, strong neck and shoulders but I would prefer better placed front construction, level top-line, she needs to develop and tighten all through to see a different picture. PGB 2(1) 1. Pinkerton’s Bareve Beyonce. Liked this 2 year old bitch for her outline and balance throughout, feminine head and lovely expression with a kind eye, good reach of neck and well laid shoulder, level top-line and correct proportions, good depth of brisket and well ribbed back, short loin, good bend of stifle, she moved steadily around the ring with easy reach and drive, BB & BOB. OB 2(0)
 1. Flatt’s Kimmax Keep My Actions Klear for Belstock. Well presented bitch of 3½ years who appealed on the stand and moved freely in profile, she had a feminine head with a kind expression, she had good depth to her chest but would prefer just a little more forechest, her angles were good but she could tighten in the rear, in good coat. 2. Vine/Hassell’s Sh Ch. Bareve By The Book. Lovely bitch of 6½ years where I preferred the overall outline to 1 but today she was carrying just a little too much weight which affected her performance, feminine head and lovely expression, sound proportions throughout with good bend of stifle, a little out of coat today.
