EASBTC 2025 BITCHES

I think it’s the kind of day you remember for a long time as a Stafford enthusiast,

and I’m sure it will be in mine. Thanks everybody for the lovely support, the warm

welcome and great entry for my very first Championship show judging appointment. I

would like to thank each of you. Special “Merci” goes to my ring stewards who

did an amazing job, merci Mesdames! The venue was first class and the committee

had made a fantastic job, working hard in every front to make our day pleasant around

our common passion. Thank you. The overall quality was excellent today, making my

order of placing very close in some classes. I was looking for bitches that were balanced

in head and bodyshape, with well muscled body, enough substance and nothing

overdone, i must say that I had plenty choice. I had to mention only one bitch with

inverted canine, one with incorrect scissor and one tailset. No other health or major

concerns.

After discussions with my co-judge Maria Turley for the BIS we both stood for our

CC winners and so Mr Tony Pritchard came as referee. When he asks for the Bitch CC

to move,

we saw, at that moment, that she was not moving soundly, so no objection possible for

BIS and then RBIS (both went naturally to the dogs).

MINOR PUPPY (6, 0 abs)

1st Boulton & Hayton’s DUSKLIGHT WHO’S THAT GIRL

Pretty red white pied puppy of just 6 months old. Lovely headshape with dark round

eyes, well defined stop, clean lips. Her ears are well shape and she has very appealing

expression. Correct scissor bite. Straight front, very good bone, pasterns and feet are

good. Overall body and headshape yet to develop but everything seems to come in a

lovely way. Good rear angulation, correct tailset. Moved as a baby should, lovely

character. Best Puppy Bitch.

2nd Canavan’s BOLDSTOCK INFINITE FLAME

Brindle bitch with white splash on chest. Lovely shape and maturing nicely for 7 months

1⁄2. Good head proportions and nice expression, correct mouth. Solid structure and nice

front with tight feet. Nice depth and spring of rib for her age. Level topline, excellent

bend of stifle. Moved and handled well

3rd Southworth’s VALGLO TIGERLILY WITH STAFFMASTER

Black brindle bitch of 6 months, correct headshape and expression, excellent ears set.

Good scissor bite. Overall she is stronger than my firsts two with a solid front and

correct feet. Strong neck. Short coupled body, rear assembly correct. Correct tail

carriage. Moved and handled well for her lady handler.

Lovely red white pied bitch with lot of energy and ring presence. Lovely headshape and

expression, dark round eyes. Correct mouth. Excellent overall structure, with solid

front, neet feet with good padding. Level topline and excellent angulation to his rear

end. Moved well. His handler manage to handle her well and no doubt she is maturing

nicely.

2nd Fry & McGeachan’s BROCKMAR DREAM ON

Different from my first but pleasing black brindle bitch with a lot to like. Clean

headshape with good proportions, correcteyes. Distinct stop, good mouth. Good ears

carriage. Nice pigmentation. Short coupled body with a level topline and correct tailset.

She was presented in excellent coat and condition. Good mover and handled very well.

3rd Petts’ ARKENSTAFF SHES THE ONE

2 months younger than my first two, she is a nice black brindle puppy with a keen

expression and dark eyes. Distinct stop, good muzzle and correct mouth. Excellent front

with solid pastern, correct body length with good back end and good tail carriage.

Moved well.

Black brindle bitch, a bit stronger than my first, but still balanced and nothing overdone

on her. Lovely headshape with dark round eyes. Good bite and underjaw. Straight and

solid front. Close coupled body with correct topline, good spring of rib and good rear

angulation. Moved and handled well.

Red and white pied bitch, nice and clean headshape with distinct stop and excellent

pigmentation. Dark round eyes. Good bite with strong underjaw. Good ears carriage.

Correct front with strong pasterns and feet. Excellent spring of ribs. Level topline.

Excellent hindquarters and rear angulations. Moved and handled well.
