Breed: Italian Greyhound
Leeds Championship Show Italian Greyhounds July 27th 2025 I was very pleased with my entry both in quality and quantity and the way that the exhibitors accepted my decisions gracefully. I was looking for a typey and fit dog that announced” Italian” to me. Hopefully with a well chiselled head and correct lift and reaching movement due to correct breed construction. Weakness of limb or lack of soundness was not an option and on the whole I was pleased with what I found. I did find quite a few short tails but felt construction more important. Correct topline and underline and nicely filled but correctly narrow front. Low hocks complimented a sound rear. Would prefer a little more lift on the move. LD (4 Entries) Abs: 0 1st: MACK, Mrs H Alura Prince To Minitopo (imp Usa). Very attractive black with a white trim. Not a flashy type so to go over him is the way to truly appreciate his many virtues. He is firstly spot on for size. He also has a very typical expression , large eyes and a fine elegant yet masculine head. His body is balanced with correct length and angulation fore and aft and so fit. Such a pleasure to see him move exactly as he should with lift, reach and drive. He met the blueprint I had in my head for what I wanted so he could not be denied the dog CC. I understand this is his first after several reserves so I like to think he will be made up soon. 2nd: HAGUE, Ms L J Ristretto Super Charty At Laborghini (imp Pol) Black with an elegant typical head and neat folded ears set well back.
