MANCHESTER CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW 2025

Thanks to the Committee for the invitation to judge, also to exhibitors for a lovely entry. Really pleased with my winners and temperament was good. There is a variation in breed type but to me my winners were all typical of the breed and my interpretation of the breed standard.

Minor Puppy Dog – no entries. Puppy Dog (2,0) - 1st: SMITH, Mr James Robert Venatur Forest - Solid liver strong dog, good depth, good angulation, sound on the move, would not want him any bigger. 2nd JAMES, Mr Deyontae Sonne Chipmunk Child – This boy is needing plenty of time to develop, moved soundly, would prefer a harsher coat. Junior Dog (4 ,0) - 1st WEBSTER, Mrs Ruth & WEBSTER, Mr Stuart Jomeel Pulp Fiction – Smart youngster with the best of heads, short back, excellent depth of chest, very good muscle, compact boy. Moves soundly, lovely angulation. 2nd HAMMOND, Miss S M & COOKE, Mr L Seasham Show Me The Way – Different type to my winner, a very sound boy, looks good on the stack and moves out well with drive, needing time to mature. 3rd EDLIN, Mrs Sally Ann Mistcapel Storm . Post Graduate Dog (5,0) 1st: DESOMBRE, Professor Terry Braneath Peregrine – A honest GSP, lovely angulation, good head and eye, short backed, well muscled and moves out well, only a youngster. Smart boy. 2nd: HAMMOND, Miss S M & COOKE, Mr L Seasham Show Me The Way 3rd DAWS, Mrs Alicia Jayne & DAWS, Mr Lee Pelenrise Blow A Gasket. Limit Dog (7,0) – Good class. 1st and RCC ADAMS, Mrs L D Tequesta Poldark JW – A quality boy who cannot be overlooked, good head with gentle expression, clean neck into good shoulders, good depth of chest, short back, and adequate angulation. Moves out soundly and true, maturing on well. An exciting future in the show ring I am sure. 2nd WETTON, Miss Charlie & MORRIS, Mr Joshua Lloyd Kavacanne Bolt From The Blue – Very close to my winner, best of coats, gorgeous head and expression, good depth and topline, well muscled, unlucky to come against my winner today. 3rd RUSSELL, Mrs Lynda & RUSSELL, Miss Hayley Fraulynzway Lightning Bolt Jw. Open Dog (7,0) 1st SCHONEVILLE, Mrs R Sh Ch Balvenie Double Diamond JW – Classic type of GSP, best of heads, excellent muscle and lovely angulation, moves well with power, good feet. Honest type who cannot be overlooked. 2nd DYMOND, Mr Bradley Ch Ir Sh Ch Quintana Diamond Dust At Friarsbelle JW – Another smart boy who I have watched his career since a puppy and pleased to be able to judge him. A smart boy, excellent muscle, good angulation and moves out really well, good size and coat good. Good type. 3rd BROWN & BURNS, Mr & Miss Robert & Anne Sh Ch Magregor Pop The Dom Over Pothouse. Veteran Dog (3,2) 1st and DCC SIELSKI, Mrs Z Sh Ch Orchidstar Bonds Of Speed JW – A quality dog with the best of heads, good eye and coat. Such an honest type, good depth, good size and moves with power and drive around the ring, well handled to show him at his best. Delighted to award him CC today. Special Beginners Dog (3,0_) 1st DAWS, Mrs Alicia Jayne & DAWS, Mr Lee Pelenrise Blow A Gasket – 3rd in PG class, good head and eye, good depth and nice angulation moves out well. 2nd SHEPHERD, Mrs Joanne Alexandra Orchidstar Platinum Strike - Not as mature as my winner, moves soundly, good depth and moves soundly. 3rd JAMES, Mr Deyontae Sonne Chipmunk Child

Minor Puppy Bitch (2,0) 1st HINCHLIFF, Mrs E Goosepoint Game On – Sweet girl with lots to like about her, good head developing nicely, good angulation, moved well for such a youngster. 2nd DIGHTON, Mrs Linda Amidala Cosmopolitan At Evaluna – very much a baby, sweet head and expression, good coat and moved well. Puppy Bitch (10,1) A really strong class of puppies 1st ADAMS, Mrs Claire Louise & ADAMS, Mr Karl Keigame Mystique Aurora – Best of heads, lovely clean front, good angulation and well muscled for age. Moves true and with power and style, effortlessly. Delighted to award her BP. 2nd ANGUS, Mrs Laura Edelmidpoint Silhouette For Sparkenhoe – Another smart girl, good head and depth of rib, good size and moves soundly. I am sure my first 3 will change places many times. 3rd SIELSKI, Mrs Z Orchidstar Tick Tok. Junior Bitch (6,1) 1st HAMMOND, Miss S M & COOKE, Mr L Seasham Kiss Me – What a cracking bitch, best of heads and expression, clean neck into good shoulders, good depth and length, good rear angulation and well muscled, excellent coat and held her topline well on the move. She moved effortlessly around the ring with great power and style, delighted to award her RCC, bright future I predict. 2nd MANN, Mr & Mrs Jr & V Valger Tiggywinkle JW – Another top quality girl, great outline on the stack, lovely head and expression, good depth and moves true. 3rd TAYLOR, Mrs Linda Valger Tamara

Post Graduate Bitch (6,1) 1stELLIS, Miss S & ELLIS, Mrs Mandi Soellis Feral Beryl JW – Super smart girl, stood out in this class, quality head, good depth and lovely topline, good muscle and angulation, cleanest of necks and shoulders, moves true and with style. Nice size 2nd RYAN, Mrs Janine Magregor Peppermint Moon – This girl had the best of coats, very feminine girl, with the kindest expression, excellent muscle, good depth and angulation and moves true, one that you have to put your hands on to appreciate her qualities.

3rd TAIT, Miss Pamela Benboee Beeloved. Limit Bitch (12,3) Super class 1st BUNKER, Miss Kathryn Winterwell Little Itch At Karitagan – I see that she is litter sister to my CC and BOB, clever breeder. This girl has the best of heads, she is all GSP when you look at her, very good angulation and muscle, good front, moves out very true, sound as a pound and on the day could not be denied her win. 2nd STALEY, Ms Clare Jomeel Olivia's Choice JW – Another very sound girl with good GSP characteristics, moves out well with style, very good angulation and muscle, quality girl. 3rd BARNETT, Mrs Rhona Magregor Howl To The Moon Over Tibertich JW. Open Bitch (8,1) The breed has great depth of quality in the bitches which this class exemplified. 1st PEARSON, Mrs Wendy Ann Sh Ch Winterwell Lulu Moppet To Ladyhawke JW – To me just typifies GSP, good size, lovely bone, classic head, short back good depth and coat, great angulation and on the move she comes alive with power and style, delighted to award her BCC and BOB. 2nd NIXON, Mr P & Mrs S Ch Quintana Lunar Eclipse – Similar type to my winner who cannot be overlooked for her quality, another who typifies the GSP, such clean lines, kind, honest head, excellent muscle and floats on the move. 3rd ELLIOTT, Mrs Lorraine & ELLIOTT, mr Finlay Sh Ch Ankerwycke Silk Stockings – Another top notch bitch.

 Veteran Bitch (1,0) 1st RUSSELL, Mrs Lynda & RUSSELL, Miss Hayley Gaia's Novaterra Vom Fraulynzway – This girl just wants to please you with the kindest of heads and expression, so sound on the move, clean lines and good angulation. Special Beginners Bitch (5,1) 1st BRUDENELL-PRYKE, Ms P & GALLAGHER, Miss Oceanne Venatur Indicus – This smart girl was 4th in the strong puppy class, good head, excellent depth, good coat, short back and moves true on the move. 2nd KEY, Mrs Natasha Orchidstar Time To Chime – Sound girl with a good head and eye, good topline and moves well. 3rd HAYDON, Mrs Kirsty Rookcross Elanor
