1st: 1337 MACDONALD, Mr M W And Mrs K J Kenbloom Have A Nice Day At Chedham at 8 months old this youngster is still finding his way, however he has a lot to offer. Really good in size and his length is well proportioned to his impressive height. He has a very pleasing expression strong in muzzle depth and nice and square, short but not overdone, with a good black nose, correct in bite, lips OK, eyes were clear, a little loose at the corners which I would expect at this age as they will tighten as his head reaches full potential, good in top skull, plenty of width and well set ears, enough neck to OK angled shoulders, giving him a good forechest, depth of chest to elbow, he really scored well on his excellent length of foreleg, which he held straight, to large feet that were just a little spayed, but well arched, Body obviously has more to come, but he was covered just right and held a very good topline, liked his sweep over croup and good tail set, rear legs that had good length to thigh and enough turn of stifle, held his rear legs well to complete a good profile picture, on the move he was clean going out and steady coming, in profile he was very correct in front and showed really good footfall. All of the above would be what I would want from Champion in this breed, yes he still has a long way to go to be the finished article but on this day it was enough for me to award him the CC.

1st: 1340 VENABLE-SMITH, Mrs Hannah Svanasjons Xtra Special (Swed Imp) 15m 0f medium size but quite well proportioned, very nice depth to muzzle, good and short to a super stop, Ok in bite and nice soft well-formed lips, eyes showing just a tiny bit of haw, top skull a little long for width, ears set well, good length to neck and lay of shoulder was good with forelegs set under withers, forelegs were a little short which caused that unfortunate back to front slope, but set on nice feet, chest depth to elbow, could take a tad more width to chest as struggled to hold forelegs straight, body was well ribbed and he was OK over croup and tail set. His movement was off today as he paced, this also affected his away movement as it appears a little splayed, difficult therefore to assess but I didn’t see him lame, just moving incorrectly, so he was awarded the class and best Special beginner, but not the RCC as he didn’t meet the criteria of qualities of a champion today.

1st: 1338 MACDONALD, Mr M W And Mrs K J Kenbloom Tip Top At Chedham. 8 month old, very pretty in expression and was eager to please, great shape to her muzzle, straight with good depth and OK lips, eyes nice and dark and of a good shape just a little loose in the corners but no haw showing, good stop and pleasing top skull, showed plenty of neck with dewlap coming, well angled front and plenty of leg length, her topline is at that awkward stage as she is still a little up over loin causing a saddle effect that should go as she levels up, liked her rear which was well angled and nicely parallel she just needs to muscle up to hold her excellent stride as she was a little unsteady on the corners.

1st: 1335 BOOTH, Mrs Tanyajane & BOOTH, Mr Gordeon Ch Chandlimore Reach Out Beausaints. So much to like about this 15m young lady, presented a very good picture, really well balanced, strong but feminine in head, correct in bite and a strong short muzzle, good in eye, plenty of stop and top skull and a very good ear set, well angled front and straight forelegs of plenty of length, very good feet, very good in back and topline held over loin which was nice and strong, good tail set and super angle of stifle, she is very well muscled on her thighs and this enabled her to move cleanly and show plenty of drive. RCC today close call just not as balanced as CC winner in challenge.

1st: 1339 PRIOR, Mrs Rebecca Ann Bernalicious You Go Girl. 2 year old smooth who has enough size and good substance and bone to support her, I found her head just a tad overdone for me, short and deep in muzzle with a good stop, but eyes were a little tight, plenty of top skull with occiput a little pronounced, she was strong in neck to well laid shoulder and held a good level back, good turn to stifle, she move out and back OK, and although she wasn’t at one with handler today, she eventually showed some steady profile movement.

1st: 1334 BOOTH, Mrs Tanyajane & BOOTH, Mr Gordon Ch Chandlimore Star Struck With Beausaints. 19month old who comes across with such femineity, not overdone in any way, nicely proportioned and in very good condition, good short muzzle with plenty of depth, correct in bite and well-shaped eye but wouldn’t want them any tighter, good ear set, plenty of top skull and a good reach to neck , well angled front with chest past the elbow, well ribbed, held a decent topline, she rises just a fraction over loin, which would benefit from a fraction more turn to stifle, but TBH I’m nit picking.. liked her hocks and she moved so well, clean out and back and with some nice drive from her rear to take the bitch CC and BOB.
