1st: 2876 GARDNER, Mrs Gloria Drishaun Consider This Baby a 13-month-old old quality dark brindle male who is of elegant shape. He is well boned giving a sound foundation for onward development. Nothing obvious to fault which is essential in a youngster; Attractive head having desirable dark eyes and expression True front with good lay back of shoulder. Satisfying angles front and rear and has excellent proportions of body presenting a quality look. Moved out well with a confident springy, sound action and was the better mover of the class.

2nd: 2867 BOVEY, Mrs Carolyne & BOVEY, Mr Christopher Sitana Johnny Blaze At Karianca a 10-month-old Cream who is overall, a more sizeable youngster than 1st and is of notable overall shapely profile. Looked my winner but lacked the confidence to give of his best. Very attractive head, eyes and expression and so pleasing to go over. True in front, well made in body and long ideally angled hindquarters with low hocks. Free moving but needing to be confident and more precise in footfall.

1st: 2878 GUNN, Mr Richard & GUNN, Miss Charlotte Katanga's God Of Thunder JW an upstanding mature 3-year-old Gold male who is true in front and pleasing in forequarters although a little loose in elbows. Impressive in side profile, needs to be stood over the ground to show at his best. Pleasing in overall make and shape with a top line and fallaway which is typical, long nicely angulated hindquarters of good width. Masculine head which has a pleasing expression. Moved out well with long strides and springy gait but needing to get his tail up consistently; satisfying head carriage.

1st: 2886 HILLS, Miss M & THORNTON, Mrs B Absolute Afghans Djibouti At Karnak JW (Imp Nor) an elegant mature nearly 5-year-old Gold male who impressed with his elegant look and balanced side profile. Handsome, typy head which is long and not too narrow with powerful jaws. Breed typical in expression which I liked. Sound in front, pleasing body having spring and depth of chest. Pleasing angulation of hindquarters with good width all through. He moved well with a springy gait and noble head carriage.  

2nd: 2871 DUNSTAN, Ms L J & WATERHOUSE, Mr J Shimalma Disaronna At Tazkindi another striking mature Gold 5-year-old male of obvious quality. Attractive in side profile and is well constructed all through. Pleasing body substance with good bone and balanced in angulations front/rear. Pleasing profile appearance having proportion and a firm top-line with a well- defined fall-away. An elegant male with an attractive head and head carriage. Moved with a true purposeful action.

1st: 2891 LANCASHIRE, Mrs A M & O'DONNELL, Miss C & LANCASHI Ch Drishaun Baby's In Black JW I judged this male as a 7-month-old puppy and thought him an exciting prospect. He has certainly fulfilled his promise! Now at 2½-year of age he is striking in conformation, coat and presentation. Impressive all through and of imposing stature. He has elegance but is powerful in appearance. Handsome, masculine head with a pleasing oriental expression and mature furnishings; head set well onto a firm, good length neck with well-laid shoulders, tight elbows and having a substantial body and strong lengthy hindquarters. Stands over the ground presenting an outline and side profile which is eye catching. Moved with a true, smooth, springy gait with true extension and head carried high. My Dog CC winner. 

2nd: 2903 PASCOE, Mr And Mrs Chris And Mary Int Ch Lux Ch NL Ch UK Ch Popovs Aladdin At Sarakh a 6-year-old attractive Gold male who is attractive in appearance, coat and colour. A mature male who is impressive in profile both standing and moving. Excellent in overall conformation and balance with super head carriage both standing and moving. True front and pleasing forequarters which I preferred to 3rd. He was good to go over and the more I studied him, the better I liked him. Moved around the ring with a pleasing side gait and front and rear action but tended to over-enjoy the experience occasionally losing his smooth true action. My Reserve Dog CC winner.

1st: 2875 GARDNER, Mrs Gloria Ch Drishaun Said Tiger To Lily a 7-year-old self-black who has an attractive overall shape and was in good coat and condition. He has a handsome masculine, refined head with a strong underjaw and a breed typical expression. Strong, good length of neck, well-made forequarters, firm bodied and level top line flowing to sound, angled hindquarters. Moved freely and was more precise than 2nd. Best Veteran in Breed.

2nd: 2896 MCLAY, Mrs S Cloudside Sun King an 8-year-old well coated gold who is carrying more body cover than 1st especially over the loin. I liked his head and expression Pleasing construction and width in front. Good overall outline although sturdy in body and broad across the loin. A free and enthusiastic mover.

Striking overall shape, attractive head with a dignified expression. Firm in body, pleasing top-line, good width between the hip bones and fall-away to stern. Free moving with true extension in front and ground covering action in side gait.                                                                                                                                 2nd: 2873 FAIRBURN, Mrs M & ROBERTS, Mrs P Cloudside Sunset an 8-year-old shapely black, well coated mature bitch who is pleasing in side profile. Carrying more body than 1st. especially over the loin. Feminine head of pleasing proportions and shape. True enough in front, plenty of body but not the firm top line compared to 1st. Moved free and purposefully but a bit unsettled in front action.

1st: 2900 MOORE, Mr W Cloudside Whispering Angel an impressive 10-month-old black youngster. She has everything you would want in a quality puppy. Excellent bone and body development and, even at this young age, she has the proportions, balance and shape you would want. Beautiful breed typical head, sound, true front, ideal body make and shape with good length, moderately angulated hindquarters, all in balance. She moved soundly in typical Afghan style. One with an exciting future. Best of movers; my Best Puppy in Breed and later a deserved Hound Puppy Group 4.                                                                                         2nd: 2870 DARE, Mrs Jeanette Sitana The Eternal At Lakarnadream another very promising young bitch. A 9-month-old shapely Cream youngster. She has a very attractive head both in shape and expression. She is well-made in front and forequarters. Pleasing body and good length, elegantly angulated hindquarters. She is a typical rangy puppy needing to settle on the move.

She is notable in overall shape being well-made in front and forequarters. Impressive in side profile having pleasing overall make and shape with a top line that is breed typical with long well-angulated hindquarters and ideal width all through. Beautiful feminine head with an attractive expression. Pleasing outline both standing and moving. Free, springy movement with long strides giving an eye-catching side gait.

2nd: 2902 ODELL, Miss Y & EVANS, Miss Sylvia Drishaun Just Consider Sukeshi a well-presented Gold youngster and I see she is litter sister to 1st. She is well boned and bodied with an elegant side profile appearance. Attractive head though a little head shy today. She shares many of the merits of 1st. True front, pleasing body development and stable angulated hindquarters. Free moving but not as controlled in front action as 1st.

Appears to be more mature in development than 2nd. She has a pleasing head in shape, proportions, eyes and expression. Head set and carried high on a strong, good length neck, true front, well-made body and strong angled hindquarters. Stands over the ground presenting a very satisfying elegant side profile. Free positive, breed typical movement with desired head and tail carriage.

Impressive in side profile; She has a pleasing overall make and shape with a top line that is typical with pleasing fallaway and long nicely angulated hindquarters of good width. Shapely feminine head of good length; she has an attractive expression. Elegant lines all through. Moved out well with smooth strides and springy gait and good head carriage.

2nd: 2868 CALLARD, Mrs A Katanga's Black Widow At Shimonay an attractive 3-year old well-presented black coloured bitch. Attractive head and expression head set on good length neck. True enough in front, pleasing in body and top line and loin with good fall away. Nicely angled lengthy hindquarters. Moved freely but tended to be untidy in front action.

She has excellent proportions and balance with notable head carriage and set of neck. Firm in body and topline flowing to lengthy strong hindquarters with low hocks producing an eye-catching profile. Notable in conformation complimented by her springy easy movement carrying both her head and tail correctly Movement and attitude that gave her the edge to win Reserve bitch CC.

2nd: 2879 GUNN, Ms C & CANNON, Mrs V Karagez Kartina Maslom At Zushkhan (Imp) a mature 4½-year-old good “honest” bitch of similar quality, age, maturity and look of my 1st. Elegant in head shape and carriage; pleasing expression. Good length and shape in neck set on well-laid shoulders. Firm enough in body and top line with enough spring and pleasing tight elbows. Moved out with satisfying breed typical gait and head carriage.

She is elegant with commanding size and substance of body and is in prime condition and presented in super coat and condition. True in front with desirable fore-chest and so pleasing in body and hindquarters. A dignified and powerful bitch, possessing confidence, elegance and a noble head carriage both standing and moving. She has a free, smooth gait covering the ground with true front movement and driving rear action, My Bitch CC and Best of Breed Winner and later pleased to see her awarded Hound Group 3.

2nd: 2881 HALL, Mrs Roberta Ch Saxonmill Majic Mirror a 4-year-old super quality Black bitch of elegant appearance. She has pleasing proportions and balance and quality in breed type and was presented in good coat and condition which supported her sound conformation. Well made in front, forequarters, body and hindquarters. Standing naturally she presents an elegant picture having a lovely head with a noble expression. Her conformation is to be commended but today she was lack-lustre especially when moving; she moved unenthusiastically and needing to get her tail up.                                                                              3rd: 2869 CULLEN, Mrs T M Cloudside Sevillana At Eweyisska (ai)
