1st: 304 WESTRON, Mrs Suzanne Farlap Kaleb a well-grown 18-month-young male who is imposing in appearance. Pleasing overall shape. Masculine breed typical head. He is sturdy in build having strong substantial bone and a powerful body. Houndy markings enhancing his overall appearance. Pleasing body length to height ratio; he stands well over the ground. Attractive head of desirable proportions, length and depth in foreface, expression and well-set, good length ears. True front, good forequarters and a body having adequate spring and depth of chest. Moderate angulations in front and in hindquarters standing firm and well back. Active positive movement especially pleasing in side gait. My Reserve Dog CC winner

2nd: 300 PRIOR, Mr John & PRIOR, Mrs Amy Houndseeker Falcon (ai) a well grown 15-months-old full-bodied male who has a masculine look. He is well boned and bodied with pleasing overall proportions and width all through. Preferred head and eyes of 1st. Acceptable Spring and depth of chest for age. Moderate angles front and rear. Movement was free and active but needing to be more settled in action.


Class 135 PGD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 289 ADSHEAD, Mrs Jane Farlap Kashmir I note he is litter brother to my 1st in previous class and shares many of his qualities. He has a pleasing head shape and head proportions with clean, oval shaped dark eyes and soft low set ears of pleasing length and shape. Strong neck set into moderately angled shoulders and body with pleasing spring and depth. Moderately angled hindquarters. Satisfying in profile displaying his size, proportions and balance. Free and easy movement.


Class 136 LD (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 291 CLARK, Miss S Farlap Keepsake another litter brother to previous class winners. He is of good size and is all in proportion length to height standing well over the ground. He stands well over the ground presenting a breed typical picture. Attractive masculine head of pleasing shape and not having overly loose skin. Clean, nicely defined dark eyes. Preferred his head to 2nd. Well boned and bodied, true front with fore-chest with enough spring and adequate depth of body. When settled moved with a free, purposeful action.

2nd: 299 PRIOR, Mr John & PRIOR, Mrs Amy Houndseeker Dauntless JW a nearly 3-year-old substantial male who is well boned and well bodied. Well-proportioned head which, for me, would improve if more refined and less wrinkled. True well boned front and well grown body with sufficient spring of rib. Moderate angulation of hindquarters. Purposeful in movement but needs to be more settle on the move.



Class 137 OD (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 298 PRIESTLEY, Ms L S Marksbury Railway Of Quikotic a quality 2½-year-old male who has a smart, powerful profile and a dignified overall appearance. Attractive head and expression. Head possessing clean line, desired shape and proportions combined with desired breed qualities. He is well grown and has a strong appearance with satisfying conformation all through. I liked his width across the chest and he possesses desired fore-chest. True, well-boned parallel front of good width which I preferred to 2nd. Balanced in angulations front and rear. Moderate all through but having workmanlike qualities. Moved with a steady, purposeful action. My Dog CC and Best of Breed winner. Disappointed he didn’t represent the breed in the Group ring.

2nd: 296 HOWIE, Mrs Tracie & EMRYS-JONES, Mrs Sue Ch Marksbury Malfoy this 6-year-old male is eye-catching in profile. He stands well over the ground being balanced in angles and of pleasing body proportions. Masculine in head but preferred the head and expression of 1st viewed from the side and face-on. He has pleasing neck both in shape and length. Moderate in lay-back and rear angulations. Firm substance of body which is satisfying in depth, spring and being ribbed well back. Steady action on the move although more inconsistent in front action and footfall.

Class 144 LB (3 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 293 CRUICKSHANK, Mr I & Mrs D Wychway-crown's Ghillie Gin's Island At Culsalmond an attractive 2½-year-old Blanket/B who is well balanced in side profile both standing and on the move. Shapely nicely balanced head which is feminine and breed typical in quality and which I preferred to 2nd. Head set well on to good length, strong neck, true front of pleasing width and fore-chest, sturdy body having plenty of depth and has good spring of rib. Shapely in profile and stands well over the ground. Moved with purpose and a steady action, especially free moving in side gait. My Reserve Bitch CC winner.             

2nd: 301 ROWLAND, Ms C Castledee One In A Million a nearly 4-year-old well-made sturdy bitch who has a shapely head although preferred expression of 1st. Satisfactory head proportions with oval shaped dark eyes and soft low set ears of good length and shape. Pleasing neck length, sturdy body with enough spring and depth of chest. Moderately angled hindquarters of good length. Free but unsettled action on the move.


Class 145 OB (3 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 295 HOWIE, Mrs Tracie & EMRYS-JONES, Mrs S & AVERY, Mr Marksbury Regina At Millvery a 2½-year-old houndy bitch who has clean lines and a smart overall appearance. Feminine, refined, breed typical head and expression which I preferred to 2nd. She possesses desirable breed characteristics and qualities. She is well grown, attractive in shape and size. Pleasing fore-chest and ideal width across her true, well-boned front. Satisfying in appearance and moderate in shape all through. Moved confidently with a free purposeful action. My Bitch CC winner.

2nd: 294 HARRINGTON, Miss Jill Ch Moorlander Cacharel a mature 5-year-old b/t bitch who is attractive in side profile being of good size and of pleasing shape and proportions. Notable head although I preferred the less wrinkled and cleaner expression of 1st. She has firm substance and good proportions of body with pleasing depth of chest and ideal spring of rib. Moderate in hindquarters. Free movement but not settled in action.

JUDGE: GRAHAM HILL
