Much enjoyed judging these well filled classes and plenty of quality to decide between.
Day 1 – Gundogs
1st: 1835 ELLIS, Ms Gwyneth Ffrind Ffyddlon Van Raamvliet (Imp NLD)
Thought this Welsh Springer was lovely type, with a correct outline. Super temperament. Liked head v much. Lengthy neck. Well balanced in angulations. Deep chest. Firm topline.
2nd: 20 GROVES, Miss S & PIPES, Mr A Bushwacker Don Juan JW
Lovely proportions on this Bracco. Masc head with a strong neck. Deep and well filled chest. Strong topline. Fairly accurate mover with a long and elastic stride so essential in this breed.
3rd: 1265 KERR, Ms Leigh Trulace Ambassador

Really lovely TT, square and sturdy. Lovely head. Angulations are moderate and in perfect balance, so was able to move so v well. Accurate with a lengthy stride. Has a lovely head. Firmest of toplines.
2nd: 3143 DEWCROFT, Mrs Michelle Joubello Heaven Sent
What a great moving Dalmatian, goes with such an easy stride. V good head, lengthy neck/ Has a well laid shoulder. Correct rear. Just needs time to finish developing in body.

Thought this Pyrenean MD a lovely type with a beautiful head. Correct length neck. V good front. In lovely hard condition, just a bit lazy moving.

Lovely Bull T, he is so hard and fit. Super head with correct bite. Wide in chest. Balanced front and rear angulation. Holds a firm topline. Moves so v well and knows how to show.
2nd: 6653 BURNETT, Mrs Sue Wolimorb When Stars Align
Really good moving Bichon, well presented and with super pigment. V good head. Lengthy neck. Firm topline with a well set and carried tail.
3rd: 8571 BLAKE, Mr Antony Llanstaffs The One

How lucky was I to judge this well filled classes with some really super puppies present. Really heartening to see, and should mean great competition over the next few years.
Day 1 – Gundogs
I thought all in the shortlist quite lovely
1st: 1475 SHOEMAKE, Mr Larry Joseph & CHETCUTI, Mr Walter Big Boom's Showman Stuart
Wonderful Clumber, full of type and sound as they come. He has a v good head, enough neck. Deep chest, well ribbed and so firm in topline. Enough hind angulation. Really loved him, hope to see him when finished, apparently gave his sire a BIS. V clever breeder.
2nd: 758 STILGOE, Mr And Mrs P And D & FOX, Mrs Lisa Teisgol Sweet William
Thought this Pointer was very typy, correct proportions, curvy lines and correct tail. Good head, crested neck, deep chest. Angulation is so very well balanced and therefore moved v well.
3rd: 362 LAYTON, Mr S Layways Dua Lipa

Super moving Eurasier, of correct proportions. Head is well balanced, correct neck. Angulation moderate and balanced. Firm in topline, which holds on move. Such a good rear and hind action.
2nd: 2645 SHERIDAN, Mrs Julie Ann Two Rivers Wise Choice At Colnbear Naf Taf
Lovely Newfoundland. Has a v good head. Strong neck. Well made. Correct body for age. V good rear. Just lost topline slightly on final run off.

Was just blown away by this Terv and had a comfortable win even in such a large, quality class. Her outline is just right for the breed, type excellent, so very well made and great mover. Add a lovely head, great showmanship you really do have something special. Was the overall winner, feel she will go on to many big wins.

Super outline on this Welsh T. Clean head, long neck. Super topline. Coat in great order.
Tail bang on top. Moved v well.

Probably the hardest of the 4 days to sort, but so much quality made it a good problem. Some that I have awarded a CC to didn’t make the first cut, any of the final 5 would have been a worthy winner.
1st: 3936 PROUVE, Mr L & MORAN, Mr A Ch Xaramae Image (Imp Fin)
Just loved the way he looked at me on the table, almost saying I wasn’t good enough to look at him. Ideal proportions and the right amount of coat. He has a v good front, great body and well made rear. So v good on the move. His attitude stole my heart.
2nd: 2427 CLARK, Mr Eric & CLARK, Mrs Dorothy Ch Garsak Summer Days At Mintrex
First time Ive got close up to this G Dane, and was impressed with how lovely she is. Ideal outline, elegance and grace throughout. She has a super head. Long neck, well made front. So very light on her feet. Must be one of the best female Danes Ive judged in the UK,

This Pem Corgi is no stranger to me, have always thought her fabulous and my opinion didn’t change here. She has a super head. Her outline is pleasing. Typical front. Firm in topline and a great rear. In the final she stepped it up a gear and just refused to be beaten on the final go around, and the heat was hers.

Lovely type I Worldounf. He has long legs to give elegance, curves in all the right plaves, and is a strong and powerful dog. Super head. Correct neck. So very well made and therefor a great mover, and light on his feet.

Super Pug, full of attitude on the table. He has the most lovely head, super eye and expression and a big open nose. Correct in neck. He is so v well made, his movement is a joy. Tail high set. Another who turned it on in the final and was a strong contender,
