Minor Puppy

1: Minfaa The Last Dance (Mr D J & Mrs J A Quick), what a gorgeous 7-month-old b/w puppy with a beautiful head and expression, strong in neck into topline. Already a profuse well-presented coat. Good ribbing and high set tail carried well. On the move he has carriage and style, he’s certainly got a future. BPD

Puppy

1; Konatian Love Machine (Mrs S Osmond), 9-month pale gold, good for size and shape. He has a pleasing head, good coat of the correct texture. Strong in topline, he moved out on the right track.

Junior

1: Tameron Mr Penhaligon's (Miss H L Howard), 13 month and in full bloom, beautifully presented, super head and expression, decent front and strong in topline. Moved well on the out and back and held his outline in profile. Already very much the showman and his future is assured. Deserved the RCC today.

2: Santosha Night Shade (Mr D & Mrs S M Crossley), loved the expression on this 17-month-old b/w, and he has an outline that really takes the eye and to be honest preferred his tail carriage. Just felt he was a tad over enthusiastic today on the out and back, but he is a certain champion for sure.

3: Chanikos My Mystery Dream via Javerda (Mrs J Barrell)

Post Grad

1: Middletune Billy The Kid (Ms A Bryant), gold dog of good size and has an excellent front on him, head and tail carried high he moved out on the right track. Well-presented coat and holds his topline.

2: Rossvale I Have A Dream (Mr & Mrs S Brown), g/w boy who is not finished in coat but is very good to go over. He just needed to put a little more in on the move. When finished, he’ll be away for sure as his type is to be commended.

3: Chanikos Mystical Dream for Shanuleas (Miss L M & Mrs S D A Puleston)

Limit

1: Keola Driving Force JW (Mrs M Salt), up to size b/w but with a true expression. He is well put together and has a strong firm topline and well set and carried tail. Moved out well holding his outline and was beautifully presented.

2: Rossvale Fantastic Dream at Charonnis JW (Mrs C Turner), gold of slightly different type but a decent size. Pleasing expression, lost his topline a little in profile and could use his front a little more. Well presented coat of excellent texture.

Open

1; Ch/bel/lux/int Ch Warathwaite The Kingslayer (Miss J Briggs), Not the first time that we have met as I awarded this super R/W boy group 2 at the Dutch winners show last year. His outline is breathtaking, and he has the most wonderful head and expression. All male and with real substance under his perfectly presented coat. On the move he has such style, perfect carriage and footfall. He is a real credit to the breed. Absolutely no denying him the CC today and he lost out to BOB by a whisker. I felt they made a wonderful pair.

2: Ch Miracey Zero Hour (Mrs T A & Mr M G Hitt), g/w of type and a true teapot tail. Liked him on the table and he moves out so well. In wonderful condition for his age and a credit to his owner. BV

3: Daltricia Jack Higgins JW (Mrs P M Maule)

Special Beginners D/B

1: Middletune Billy The Kid (Ms A Bryant). BSB

Bitches

Puppy

1: Tameron Miss Ruby Orchid (Miss H L Howard), outstanding 10-month-old puppy with champion written all over her. Her head and expression are simply a delight, and she is presented to the last hair. Moved out with style carriage with that hint of arrogance. Nothing to change on the table and she put on a very polished performance on the move. We’ve not heard the last of her, that’s for sure. BP

2: Densown Little Miss Dorothy (Mr D C Smith), 9-month g/w with a pleasing expression. Not the finish of the winner today but she is a decent shape and moved out on the right track. Coat coming along.

3: Densown Fanta Fizz to Ralphina (Mrs H Wood)

Junior

1: Keola Miss Glitz and Glamour (Mrs M Salt), the expression on this young bitch just simply melts you as she looks into your soul. She is another destined for a title and she will be so deserving of it too. Her presentation was the icing on the cake, and she moved out with such style and carriage.

2: Rossvale's Got The Look (Mr & Mrs S Brown), not flashy at all but very well made and sound on the move. True to type but just needs finish. Sound on the move she puts her feet in the right place and has super carriage.

Post Graduate

1: Sassyshi Cake by The Ocean with Shirkeira JW (Miss S & Mrs S Galliford & Kerée-Bartolo), pleasing for type and size, won the class on carriage in profile. Pleasing head and expression, decent for topline and a well set and carried tail.

2: Middletune Clementine JW (Mrs F & Mrs S Yorke & Keree -Bartolo), good for size and on another day could easily change places, well-presented and moved precisely, just lost her topline in profile today.

Limit

1: Middletune Modesty Blaise JW (Mrs F & Mrs S Yorke & Keree -Bartolo), super c/w bitch of type and size, super expression and carries herself so well. She is good to go over and is well presented in a coat of good texture. She is title quality for sure.

2: Minfaa Christmas Cracker at Miracey (Mrs T A & Mr M G Hitt), close up and she comes alive on the move where she will always take the eye. Put down to the minute and in good condition, not quite the forehand of the winner today.

3: Jadetemple Jaci Higgins at Daltricia JW (Mrs P M Maule)

Open

1: Ch Santosha Silhouette (Mr D & Mrs S M Crossley), Obviously it came as no surprize how highly I rate this wonderful r/w bitch having already given her a group and a champion stakes this year. I adore her and, in my opinion, think she is one of the best Shih Tzu bitches there has been for some time. Her outline is impeccable, with her head and tail held high. She is wonderful to go over and her beautifully textured coat is presented masterfully. On the move she just makes you smile as she motors around the ring. Just love her. BCC & BOB

2: Ch Marhilway Explored The Edge (Mrs M Diffey), not to be sneezed at, I really liked this g/w bitch, and I’m not surprised to see that she carries a crown. Lovely head and expression, prefect size and super tail carriage. Moved out well and carried herself with importance, just unlucky to meet 1 on such form. RCC

3: Ch Marpalyn Phab Gold (Mrs P Gregory)
