1st: 3176 PARTRIDGE, Mrs A Pettigans Viva La Vida By Riveroyal, Good one to start! Shaded red with a pleasing head and strong jaw, dark eye, good front, sound both ends with enough ground clearance, good mover with clean footfall and very well presented. Best SpBeginner and delighted to hear that she went on to win the Special Beginner Hound Group.

1st: 3177 PARTRIDGE, Mrs A Ranglewood Xmas Cracker To Riveroyal, b/t with a nice masculine head, excellent front and feet, rounded rump, moved freely and cleanly, understandably carrying a bit of puppy fat so just a little soft in topline still. BP.

1st: 3182 VINCENT, Miss S L Swansford Padraciador At Gainscroft, b/t, very good front with plenty of depth and keel, masculine outlook, level topline kept on the move, moved with activity and enthusiasm covering the ground well.

1st: 3183 WEDGE, Mr M Dolan Johnny Be Good, mature 5 y/o red, dark eye, good earset, very nice front with excellent layback, good overall proportions and type, well ribbed up and in good coat, clean free mover, RBD.

1st: 3172 FRICKER, Mrs J Sundayshill Theodore For Borzdac, shaded sable 3 y/o who presents a very pleasing balanced outline, no exaggerations, excellent overall proportions, pleasing head, carried well with strong jaw and dark eye, good length of neck into well laid shoulder, strong clean rear which he used to good effect, BD & BOB.

2nd: 3186 WEDGE, Mr M Dolan The Last Time, red, nice head and ear/eye placement, clean well filled front, held topline well, a pleasing overall picture and he moved pretty well too.

1st: 3173 HIRST, Mrs Janet & HIRST, Miss Natalie Ranglewood Lantana At Kejana, 10 y/o b/t in excellent shape for his age, pleasing head with good strong teeth and jaw, good depth of keel, good front movement and stepped out well in profile keeping his topline, just not quite as clean behind as some of the younger hounds.

1st: 3179 REID, Mr P & Mrs D Cavallibrook One Final Kiss At Maudaxi, pretty red of 22 months, feminine houndy head with a dark eye, excellent overall construction and presented in very good coat, clean out and back but not putting her best foot forward in profile.

1st: 3178 REID, Mr P & Mrs D Swansford Daphnedora At Maudaxi, shaded red of 22 months, feminine outlook, well filled under dark eyes, good lay of shoulder and topline, tight feet, balanced overall with matching angles and well ribbed up, well presented and handled to make the best of herself, very nice youngster; BB.

2nd: 3175 NEGUS, Mr & Mrs Ian And Lesley Tarramist Starlight (a.i.), 2 y/o shaded red who is a lovely mover, really covers the ground and clean coming and going. Pleasing balanced outline and angulation, good feet. Wold like more fill under the eye and strength of underjaw.

1st: 3180 SAINSBURY, Dr & Mrs Roger Drymoor Marron Glace At Boscolla, feminine shaded red, dark eye and good eye and ear set; good length of neck into well laid shoulder, well ribbed up with level topline and strong rounded rear, moved very well RBB 2nd: 3174 NEGUS, Mr & Mrs Ian And Lesley Tarramist Platinum Aria (a.i.), red. Not quite the head of 1, would like a bit more fill. Very good feet, held topline well, and well ribbed up, rounded rump and moved freely and well. 3rd: 3181 VINCENT, Miss S L Breezelyn A Long Story At Gainscroft
