Also thank you for those who chose to enter under me. I had some wonderful Bassets to judge, and the wonderful friendly atmosphere was very much appreciated.

What a fantastic entry and this judging experience is a highlight in my career.

Overall, the standard of the hounds was high, excellent temperaments and, in general, sound typey hounds.

1 Allchorne, CH Nelgus Thyme Bomb JW SHcex

Nine-year-old dog of Excellent type with very good movement Excellent head with correct planes. Very Good feet. Excellent topline and angulation. I was pleased to award this dog Veteran In Show

2, Seddon, Sedonia’s Ambassador of Akura

Eight-year-old dog of Very Good type. Excellent topline and rear angulation. Front assembly not as good as number 1 and would prefer a little more muzzle.

3. Hirst and Melbourne, Diheath Really Cosmic at Kejana

1 Melbourne and Murray, Diheath Cracker

Black and Tan dog with a very good head, great ear set and excellent planes. Very good rear angulation. Excellent tail set but topline could be improved.

1 Johnston, Burnvale Echoes and Shadows

This dog has a pleasing overall appearance with excellent movement. Very good head and excellent ear set, Deep chest and good rib cage. Excellent tail set.

2. Land, Clanwillow The Jazz Singer

Excellent type but not quite as sound as number 1. Excellent head with good planes and ears. Very good topline and good size.

1 Sutton, Reveros Power of Love

This Red and White dog is of very good type, size and proportions. Excellent rear angulation and tail set Head was exceptional with good planes, great ear set and very good eyes. Moved very well and sound both coming and going.

2. Parkes, Besslin Mad Hatter

Blanket Tri dog with Very Good movement. Excellent head with a good eye, planes and well-set ears. Excellent tail set with Very Good rear angulation. I would like to see a little more angulation in front.

1 Johnston, Blevwill Ron Like the Wind (IKC)

Excellent breed type with a lovely head and expression. Very sound mover with good angulation front and year. Very good topline and tail set. Good rib cage carried well back. Excellent tail set.

2 Melbourne & Murray, Diheath Chekov JW

Red and White dog with excellent breed type, overall a very sound dog. Very good head, excellent planes and ear set. Moved soundly with goof extension. Close between 1 and 2.

Blanket Tri colour dog with excellent breed type and a great attitude. One of the best fronts of the day with excellent prosternum and angulation, Excellent topline, rear angulation and tail set.

2 Steers, Clanwillow Future Star

Red and White Dog with a Very Good head. Would prefer better angulation front and rear and the tail set was a little low.

1 Pop, Quantas-Napoca White Pepper

Red and White dog of Excellent type. Very sound mover with Excellent extension front and rear. Excellent bone. Excellent angulation front and rear coupled with an Excellent topline made this one of the top Dogs of the day and I was pleased to award it the Reserve Dog CC

2 Mackaill, Clanwillow Future Voyager

Tri Colour dog larger in size than number 1. Excellent head and ear set. Very good angulation front and rear. Very good breed type.

3 Green & Smits, Wildebeest Will V.Grunsven

1 Cudlip, Woferlow Eclipse at Harvidene

This tri colour dog has exceptional type, attitude and is very sound. Excellent Head with a lovely eye. Excellent movement coming from correct construction. Sound feet. Very good tail set and carried correctly. Good skin and not in excess. Very pleased to award this exhibit Dog CC and Runner up In Show. I was pleased to find out that this CC made him up to a Champion.

2 Blevins, Ch & Ir Ch Int Ch Blevwil Kenny Dewit Cen Jw, Cen W Ir J Ch Cen.w Cen.jw Cw23

Another tri colour dog of excellent type. This dog also had excellent movement, angulation and tail set. Very good head with correct planes and excellent ear sets.

3 Blevins, Bromp Ronnie Smart for Blevwil

1 Pearson, Ch Armardio Im On Fire JW

Very good size with an Excellent head. Very good prosternum and good bone. Overall a well-built dog with Excellent angulation front and rear.

2 Jones, Clanwillow Shining Bright

A sound bitch with Very Good angulation. Very Good head with correct ears, Overall, quite fine and lacking in bone

1Hampton, Astra V Grunsven At Bassluxe (Imp Nld)

Very promising young girl. Excellent Head with a Very good length of neck. Excellent angulation front and rear. Very Good rib cage and topline with a well-set tail, moved well and has Excellent bone.

2 Parkes, Bessalin Well I Never

Tri bitch with Very Good topline and tail set. Loose movement but this will most likely improve with age. Very good bone and feet. Showing promise.

3 Holden, The Sky Is The Limit At Azakarm

A red and white bitch with Excellent breed type. Excellent head with correct eyes and Ear set. Excellent neck flowing into a Very Good topline and tail set. Excellent Bone

2 Johnston, Burnvale Echoes and Dreams

Another Red and White bitch with an Excellent head. Overall a Very good dog with Excellent topline and tail set. Movement not as good as No. 1 but should improve with age.

3 Jones, Clanwillow Shining Bright

Red and White bitch with excellent angulation front and rear. Excellent head with good eyes and ear set. Very good bone. Excellent rib cage. Moved well but did not flag her tail on the move.

2 Hampton, Your Faith Van Grunsven At Bassluxe (Imp Nld)

Excellent topline with a good rib cage, Excellent head with well set ears and good planes and stop. Excellent tail set and rear angulation. Quite a large dog and front assembly is a little forward.

3 Bailey, Bromp Bigbutt Beryl Brown

1 Unett, Harvidene Cuckoo in the Nest

Very good topline. Excellent angulation front and rear. Very good bone. Moved correctly with very good reach and drive. Would prefer a kittle more stop to the head.

2 Melbourne, Diheath Marta

Excellent head with good expression and ear set. Moved soundly, good angulation front and rear. A little short in neck

3 Shadboltt, Woferlow Storm Princess into Akura

Tricolour bitch with excellent type. Good size. Good head and Excellent neck, Very good topline and very good angulation front and rear. Overall and excellent bitch.

2 Archer, Roamanbay Ready to Rock

Red and White bitch with Excellent head and topline. Very good underline. Good angulation front and rear. On the day did not move as well as number 1 and had her tail down.

3 Pearson, Amazing White A Story With A Tail At Armardio (Imp Nid)

Red and White Bitch with an Excellent head, very nice ears and correct ear set. Very good neck flowing into a great topline. Excellent angulation front and rear. Very good movement.

2 Woodworth, Woodrich Summer Breeze

Excellent head and ear set. Excellent angulation front and rear. Good underline. Would prefer a little more length in back

Excellent Tricolour bitch with correct proportions. Excellent body, angulation and head. Excellent movement front and rear. Overall, the best dog on the day and I was pleased to award her the Bitch CC and Best In Show

2 Pop Ch Quantas-Napoca Wild Bean

Another excellent bitch of correct size. Excellent angulation. Very Good head with a lovely expression and good tail set. Excellent topline and tail set. Correct size. It was very close with number 1 and I was pleased to award it the RBCC
