LINDSEY TOWNSEND SPECIAL AWARDS CLASSES

With thanks to the Officers and Committee and exhibitors for availing me the opportunity to judge some super dogs presented in excellent condition and amiable temperaments; some definite examples of ‘demonstrably affectionate’ judging by the number of them trying to steal kisses from the judge on my go-over. It was a delight to have Josephine Coombe as my steward especially as I recall the Castlefields starting out around the same time in the early eighties when we were getting started with the Spinone.

Still plenty of development to come in his body however already presents a super topline and croupline with excellent tailset and carriage. Stands on firm limbs for one so young with apparent quality in his developing musculature and nice, tight elbows. Excellent feet accompanied by strong front pasterns and hocks well let down lending to his steady assured gait on the out and back. Excellent mover in side profile.
