I really appreciated such a lovely entry, for my first time giving CC’s in this lovely breed.
Thank you to whoever sent the lovely biscuits and strawberries to the stewards table; lovely
surprise and most welcome. It was a very hot day and I tried to keep the dogs in the shade
as much as possible, and valued the understanding from the exhibitors, as I spent a little
more time that I would normally, whilst moving them again in the shade, in and out of the
ring. I was pleased with the overall quality and soundness of the breed and some decisions
were very close. Most decisions were taken sportingly, thank you. However, as a judge I
was a little disappointed that some exhibitors kept others waiting in the heat, whilst they
were grooming their dogs in the shade – a clear lack of consideration and class on their
behalf!
