Judge Dr Robert Suchett-Kaye ( Settskaye )

Gordon Setters

It was a great honour to judge, and I would like to thank the LKA committee for the invitation. I found real quality in depth which is missing in some breeds. Thank you, exhibitors, for entering so many super dogs which made judging both challenging and enjoyable. I was pleased to go over Gordons that have excelled in both the working and show worlds. Coats and presentation as always were of the highest standard. My top winners impressed me with their steady free movement that requires both drive from behind and reach at the front. All mouths were good. Thank you again to all for making this one of my most enjoyable judging appointments. I could not have asked for better selection of Gordons than were entered today.
