CHAMPIONSHIP DOG SHOW - Hungarian Pumi

We were 1st in the ring which was a good thing before it got to hot.  It was a lovely sunny day, with a good-sized ring, the ground was dry and hard and a bit rough under foot.   All the dogs handled the ground well.   Shame we had a curtain halfway across, sadly we could do nothing about it.

Veteran Dog or Bitch (1,0), 1 Smee, Michelle & Smee, Wendy & Coleman, Mr. David, Int. Ch. Ir. Ch. Balthazar Pumida Avec Schnaubern, (Cze Imp.): Dog. A 10yr old white male, whom I have judged before. Good to see he is in fine fettle and does not show his years. He is in good type and out-line, with correct bite, excellent eyes, nicely balanced head with correct ear-set, good length of neck, correct withers, neat front. Nice shape body with neat angles front and rear. Very pleasing on the eye. Pleased for him to be awarded BV. He moved nicely around the ring, nice and easy.

Puppy Dog (1,0), 1 Shepherd, Mrs. Julie & Shepherd Mr. Neil., Alizo Islands in The Stream: A 10mth old grey dog. That is a nice shape and out-line, neat head with good bite and eye. Good ear placement. I liked length of neck and I also liked his withers and back and neat front. Would like a little more angle to rear stifle. His temperament needs looking at. Moved out ok. BPD.

Post Graduate Dog (2,0), 1 Rizzo Hills, Mrs. Sabina & Rizzo Hills, Mr. Richard., Gravelous Buszke Bocskor: A 3yr old grey dog, well-grown for his age. He is of a good shape and type. Pleasing head, good ear-set, good length of neck. Good angles to front and rear. Moved neatly around the ring.    2 Dockerill, Mrs. C., Blacktide Another Night, (BA3): A white 2yr old dog. Nicely grown, a little longer in the back than 1st. So not quite as balanced which reflected in his movement. He was shown in a nice coat.

Open Dog (2,0), 1 Kirkwood, Mrs. Yolanda & Kirkwood, Mr. Stephen, Schnaubern Draco Star at Yolstek: A 3yr old grey dog. Lovely shape, neat head with dark eyes, correct ear-set, good length of neck.   Good square shape, correct withers, neat angles front and rear, correct back. Moved around the ring with ease.   All in a good coat.   Very pleased to award him BD.   2 Pike & Carter, Mrs. & Mrs. Julie & Ashlie, Breezelyn Ear Sumut Special CW25: A 5yr old grey dog.     Another nice dog of excellent symmetry, very similar to 1st, not quite the same wither as 1st.   But nice all-through.     Moved well.

Puppy Bitch (2,0), 1 Dunn, Mrs. Sarah, Schnaubern Gumula Star: An 8mth old grey bitch.   Well grown for age.    She is a nice type, pleasing out-line and very feminine.   She has a good bite, dark eyes, neat ear-set and good length of neck.   Really nice and square in out-line, neat angles front and rear.   Moved well, very nice.   2 Wolf, Ms. Jacqueline, Arkosligeti Kocos Hajnal: Another 8mth old lighter grey bitch, not quite as square as 1st.   Head ok but ear-set could be better.   Movement needs to be addressed as she let herself down which was a shame.

Junior Bitch (1,0), 1 Sarantos, Mrs. Paula, Schnaubern Gemini Crossing Blacktide: A 10mth old grey bitch.   Well grown for age. Nice square out-line.   Nice type, nice feminine head, neat ear-set, good length of neck and good angles to front and rear.  Fabulous bend of stifle which shows in her movement.   Pleased to award her BPB and BP in Breed.    Well done.

Post Graduate Bitch (3.0), 1 Sarantos, Mrs. Paula, Schnaubern Capella Star with Blacktide: A grey 4yr old bitch with a lot to like about her.   She has a pleasing out-line, neat angles front and rear making her well balanced through-out.   Nice head with good ear-set.   A lot to like and moved the best in this class.  2 Johns, Mrs. Angela., Breezelyn Ears A Top Tip at Alepenkye: Another grey bitch at 5yrs of age.   Very feminine and very typy with a pleasing out-line.   Just lets herself down on the move as she tends to high step on the front.  3 Wolf, Ms. Jacqueline, Csulli’s Dawn Breaker: A 2yr old grey bitch, well grown and of a pleasing type and out-line.   Needs to settle on the move.

Open Bitch (4,0), 1 Johns, Mrs. Angela, Breezelyn Ears A Breakthrou for Alepenkye: A 3.5yr old black/grey bitch.   A super type and out-line, very pleasant on the eye and very pleasing to go over.   Very feminine with super balance through-out.   Absolutely showed her socks off demanding attention and moved a dream.   Pleased to award her BB then BOB and later she performed once more in the Group to earn 3rd place.   Absolutely Well done.    2 Smee, Miss. Michelle, & Smee, Mrs. Wendy & Coleman, Mr. David, Ir. Ch Ceridwen Pumida Schnaubern, (Cze Imp.): A 5.5yr old grey bitch, very close to 1st.   They could easily swop places, as I liked both and had to nit pick between them.   Excellent type and out-line. Very feminine and well balanced and moved out well. Pleased to award her Res. BB and Res. BOB.  3 Sarantos, Mrs. Paula, Blacktide Another Star: A 2yr old white bitch.   Pleasing type needs to settle down on the move.  4 Sarantos, Mrs. Paula, Blacktide Another Love: Another 2yr old white bitch.   Litter sister to above and exactly the same applies.   Pleasing type but needs to get movement sorted out.
