Yorkshire Terrier Club of South Wales Championship Show 12/7/25

Many thanks to the officers and committee of the Yorkshire Terrier Club of South Wales for giving me the opportunity to judge at this well run show and to everyone who entered and allowed me to go over their lovely exhibits.

Class 1 baby Puppy Dog

1st. Marlukney Highway to Heavan NAF (Mr M Frostick) Very promising baby with good quality, silky coat and colours developing well. Good square outline to body with moderate angulation front and rear, firm level top-line, nicely developed rib cage and good neck. Well proportioned head with neat ears, and dark expressive eyes. Decided not to move today.

Minor Puppy Dog

1st. Trayshellin Topsecret (J Parvin) Good quality coat texture with promising dark steel blue and tans clearing well. Level top-line and moderate angulation front and rear with pleasing square outline overall. Good head with sufficient stop, neat ears and dark expressive eyes. Moved well coming and going with a balanced action in profile. BPD. Res BPIS

2nd Bierlyn I Believe I Can Fly. ( Mr & Mrs Taylor) Silky coat texture with promising dark steel blue, but not as well developed in tan as the winner. Nice neck and firm level top-line with moderate angulation. Well proportioned head with smallish skull and dark expressive eyes. Pleasing outline and he carried himself well on the move.

3rd Wenwytes William with Auchmuir (Mrs. S Turnock) Very promising youngster lovely quality coat and rich colours, good head with sweet intelligent expression. Spoilt his chance today standing with a poor top-line although moved quite well coming and going and balanced in profile with a better top-line.

Junior Dog

1st Ketauro Alfa Chilly Pepper Imp. Ltu. (Mrs. PD Evans) Lovely silky coat texture and dark steel blue, well grown body coat, tans developing well for age. Very smart, square outline with level top-line, moderate angles and good neck giving upright carriage. Well balanced head with neat ears, dark eyes and good stop giving an attentive expression. Positive action on the move with a well-balanced action in profile. Res CC

Limit Dog

1st. Lancelot Stribrne Prani ( A. Nowakowska) Up to size dog, well-constructed with level top-line, good neck, moderate angulation front and rear, and good square outline. Good texture to his coat, his blue could be deeper and better defined but nice rich golden tan. Well balanced skull and muzzle with good stop and expressive eye. Moved with good accuracy coming and going and with a very pleasing action in profile.

Open Dog

1st CH Wenwyts Wind of Change (Mrs. White-Thomas) Impressive dog of lovely type, excellent silky coat texture, even and well-defined dark steel blue body coat and golden, shaded tans. Nice alert expression from well-portioned head with neat ears and good stop and muzzle. Nice neck and firm level top-line, moderate angulation, square in outline with good upright carriage. Positive action going & coming on the move and a very nice outline in profile. CC BIS

2nd Bierlyn Rupert Bear ( Mr & Mrs Taylor) Attractive dog with lots to like. Good silky coat texture, and decent colours but body coat could be a little darker and tans could be richer. Well-made fore-quarters, good body and moderate turn of stifle, giving a good a square out-line overall. Attentive expression from well-proportioned head with neat ears, good stop and dark eyes. Moved quite accurately coming and going.

Veteran Dog or Bitch

1st. Willihelm Special Romance ( Miss S Carr) 8 old bitch Years with well grown coat of good texture and good dark steel blue for age with good tan. Well-made body with good rib and top-line, moderate angles front and rear and nice neck giving a nice square out-line overall. Moved with a nice relaxed gait and accurate coming and going. BV

Baby Puppy Bitch

1st.Maganyork Bella Surprise ( A Nowakowska) Very pretty baby, coat developing well, blue is well-defined and tans beginning to clear. Promising head with neat ears and dark eyes and alert expression. Nicely developed rib cage, moderate angulation and good neck but a little long in body at this stage. Moved freely with a well-balanced gait. BBPIS

2nd Marlukney Blossom Goddess naf ( Mr M Frostick) Very promising baby with good quality coat and promising colours for age. Nice body, moderate angulation front and rear and good neck giving smart upright, square out-line. Smallish head with neat ears and dark eyes. Not moving today.

Minor Puppy Bitch

1st Bierlyn We Believe ( Mr & Mrs Taylor) Good quality dark steel blue body coat for age and tans developing. Very nice square, upright outline from good neck, moderate angulation, good rib cage and level top-line. Neat, smallish head with good ears and dark eyes giving an alert expression. Quite accurate coming and going on the move with a positive action.

2nd.Yorkiehill Mysterious Mist ( Miss S Weston) Pleasing puppy with good quality coat and colours developing nicely. Good square shape overall, with nice neck and moderate angulation. Dark expressive eyes and good stop with neat ears and alert expression. Moved quite well going and coming but could have done better in profile.

3rd. Geegee’s Heavenssent at Aachamoe ( Mrs.& Miss Moe & C Dixonhardwick) Promising with a good quality silky coat and colours developing well. Quite square in build overall with moderate angulation but a poor top-line standing today. Neat head with dark eyes, nice ears and good stop. Moved quite well coming and going

Puppy Bitch

1st Bierlyn Last Promise ( Mr & Mrs Taylor) Lovely bitch with silky quality to coat, very promising dark steel blue body coat and tans beginning to develop. Excellent square outline overall with moderate angulation and nicely developing rib cage, good neck and level top-line. Smallish head with good stop, neat ears, dark eyes and lovely expression. Accurate action on the move going away. BPB BPIS

Junior Bitch

1st.Joyful Life of New Deal with Trayshellin Imp. Hun. (J Parvin) Lovely bitch good quality silky coat very pleasing dark steel body coat and tans clearing quite well. Square upright outline with good neck and top-line. Nicely proportioned head with neat ears and dark expressive eyes. Moved quite well coming and going and with a nice style in profile.

2nd. Sladesmark Sugar Maple ( Mrs V Bunce) Very nice bitch with good coat texture and quite nice dark steel blue and golden tans but not quite as rich in colours as the winner. Quite square in outline with balanced angulation, firm top-line and good neck. Dark expressive eyes.

Moved with quite an accurate action coming and going.

Yearling Bitch

1st. Jankeri Beatrice (Mrs & Miss Foster) Nice texture to coat pleasing dark steel blue body coat with and developing quite well. Square outline with moderate angulation front and rear, good rib cage nice neck and top-line. Dark eye with neat ears and alert expression. Moved quite well coming towards and with good reach and drive in profile.

Post Graduate Bitch

1st Bierlyn Something Else ( ( Mr & Mrs Taylor) Very good silky coat texture and good dark steel body coat and clear tans. Lovely square upright shape with firm level top-line, good neck, well developed rib cage and moderate, balanced angulation. Well proportioned, smallish head with dark eyes and neat ears giving alert expression. Moved accurately coming and going and with lovely style in profile. Res CC

2nd. Willihelm Loving Moment (Miss S Carr) Mature bitch with nice coat texture and nice tan & dark steel blue for age. Quite square in outline with balanced angulation and good rib cage. Well proportioned head with good stop and dark eyes. Moved freely but needed to carry her head higher to be at her best.

Limit Bitch

1st. Trayshellin Trinity ( J Parvin) Pleasing silky coat texture with rich golden tans and dark steel blue body coat which could be a little more even. Good square out-line with nice neck, level back and moderate angulation. Nicely proportioned head with dark eye, neat ears and good stop giving sweet expression. Not at her best on the move today.

Open Bitch

1st Ch Frasermar Dream Lover ( Mr S T Carruthers) Top quality bitch with lovely silky coat texture and excellent dark steel blue body coat with clear golden tan. Square proportions to outline overall with moderate angulation front and rear and pleasing rib cage. Good proportions to head, neat ears and dark expressive eyes. Moved accurately coming and going, with a balanced action in profile. CC Res BIS

2nd JCh Maganyork. Summer Love ( Mrs M Skarulska) Good silky coat texture and dark steel blue coat but needs to clear in tan. Dark eye and quite good proportions to head but not presented to advantage. Excellent construction with lovely rib cage and top-line, correct moderate angulation front and rear and square, upright outline. Best mover of the day, accurate coming and going and lovely reach, drive and style in profile.
