1. Roberts’ Ch Longsdale Turning Tables at Cwrtafon. 9 yr old cream. Typey lad who was good hands on, presented a well balanced outline and shown in very good condition. Correct length of neck, firm topline, well sprung ribs with ribcage carried well back, muscular loin and curled tail set on high. Masculine head of good proportions, moderate stop, expressive oval-shaped eyes, ears set on well, good pigmentation and super bite. Moderate angles both ends and he stands nice and straight in front on excellent feet. Gaiting freely all through and goes very well when viewed in profile with excellent carriage. Good quality coat. Best Veteran.

1. Lewis’ Grizwold Pirate’s Tale at Louchelle. Two very different pups challenged in this class. The nod went to this 10 mth old black who pleased for type and was good to go over. Moderate length of neck, excellent topline, ribbing developing well, firm loin and tail set on high. Balanced head with good skull, dark expressive eyes, ears set on well and correct dentition. Pleasing angles front and rear and he stands on good feet. Moved freely on the down and back. Good coat. Best Puppy Dog.
2. Blight’s Longsdale’s Take It Easy. 11 mth old parti-colour who is up to size. Balanced outline with pleasing neck, level topline, ribbing extends well back, short loin and curled tail set on well. Masculine headpiece of good proportions, correct eye shape, good ears when using them and excellent dentition. Moderately angulated and stands on good feet. 1. Pearce & Francis’ Longsdales Look at Me Now. 12 mth old black of excellent type, presenting such a good outline and pleasing to go over. He is somewhat at the teenager stage as one would expect but everything is in the right place. Correct length of neck to balance, firm in topline, ribbing carried well back, short loin and high set curled tail. Quality head with masculine expression; good skull to muzzle proportions, excellent eye and ear, clean cheeks and scissor bite. Soundly constructed front and rear, stands true in front on excellent feet and certainly didn’t disappoint when gaiting. Good quality coat. RCC.

He appealed for type and presented a well balanced outline with correct length of neck, firm level back, correct ribbing, short in the couplings and tail set on well. Pleasing head and expression with good proportions, eyes of correct shape, ears set on well, clean cheeks and good dentition. Stands well naturally and has excellent feet. Gaiting freely on the down and back with good drive, front just a tad exaggerated on go around. Good coat. Shows himself off at all times.

1. Pearce & Francis’ Kelham Kind Hearted Longsdale. 2 yr old cream who I thought an excellent type and he was a delight to go over given his correct construction. 2. O’Leary’s Cadasaro Gerhard. 22 mth old cream out of a smaller mould than the winner but he also pleased for type and presented such a good outline. Neck of correct length to balance, level topline, ribbing carried well back, short muscular loin and curled tail set on well. Head of good proportions, oval-shaped eyes of pleasing colour and obliquely set, clean cheeks and nice dark pigmentation but overall preferred expression of winner. 1. Pearce & Francis’ Longsdale's Have Da Heart. Another class where two very different pups competed. My winner was this 11 mth old black. Excellent neck, firm topline, ribbed well back and ribbing developing as it should be, nice short loin and curled tail set on high. Quality head with correct skull to muzzle proportions, first class eye and ear, clean cheeks and scissor bite. Soundly built front and rear, stands true on super feet and when gaiting, she went well all through and used herself at all times. Good coat. Best Puppy.

Correct length of neck to balance, short back with firm topline, pleasing rib development, short in the couplings and curled tail set on well. Moderately short neck, firm level topline, good ribbing, nice short loin and curled tail set on high. Quality head and expression; wedge-shaped of good proportions, super eye and ear, clean through the cheeks and scissor bite. Soundly constructed both ends, elbows close to the body, straight forelegs and excellent feet. Showing herself off to advantage and moved out briskly. Good quality coat.

1. Nicholls’ Izlou Muffin Compares for Shyllar. 19 mth old black lacking in coat right now but she pleased for overall type and was good to go over. Correct length of neck to balance, level back, well ribbed back, short in the couplings and tail set on well. Nicely proportioned head with feminine expression; rather flat skull, moderate stop, oval-shaped eyes which are dark enough, correct ears and scissor bite. Pleasing angulation front and rear and she stands on good feet. Goes very well when viewed in profile, true when coming towards and ok in rear.
2. Kettlewhite’s Cadasaro Gucci. 22 mth old parti-colour who presented a nice compact outline. Pleasing neck, firm topline, correct ribbing, nice short loin and tail set on high and curled over back. Feminine headpiece with good proportions, eyes of good colour but not quite shape of those of winner, clean cheeks and correct bite. Moderate angulation both ends and stands on good feet. When gaiting she goes pretty well all through but 1 just had the edge. Good quality coat.
