Lots of quality evident and I was particularly impressed with the three Veterans who were entered. I had two excellent steward in the form of Carolyn Hall and Alex Hill – thanks to you both. Class 1195 VD (3 Entries) Abs: 1 1st: 2985 CROSIER, Mr Keith & CROSIER, Mrs Sam Nurburgnewf Cayman ShCEx. Good sized skull; well-placed, fairly small eyes and good tight eye rims. Good breadth and depth of chest with a strong, broad loin. Sound and free moving. 2nd: 2987 DODD, Mr Paul Tony & DODD, Mrs Alison Ch Sandbears On The Money JW. Good skull with proud head carriage. Clean, square muzzle. Good bone, legs and nicely padded feet. Well ribbed and the ribs do extend well back. Strong, muscular hindquarters which he used to advantage on the move. Class 1196 MPD (2 Entries) Abs: 0 1st: 3006 OHARA, Mrs Amanda Jane Shirebears Supernatural Ai (ai). Scored in maturity of body and rib. Masculine head with clean eye and good muzzle. Well boned and moved out soundly. 2nd: 2999 IRVINE, Mrs Kirsten & IRVINE, Mr John Mathanbeag Banquo. Less finished than the winner. Clean eye and good sized skull. Good depth of chest for age. Sound and active on the move. Class 1197 PD (2 Entries) Abs: 0 1st: 2981 BURTON, Mr R C Vodahond Arlo. A shade more mature than the 2nd placed dog. Free moving with good head carriage and pleasing forehand. Clean, dark eye. Good muzzle. Well ribbed with strong, broad loins. 2nd: 2978 BLAKE, Ms S Sandbears Magnum Opus. Really pleasing head and expression with lovely clean eyes and excellent dentition. Good bone, legs and feet. Pleasing balance. Good quality coat and moved out well. Class 1198 JD (2 Entries) Abs: 0 1st: 3012 SHERIDAN, Mrs Julie Ann Two Rivers Wise Choice At Colnbear (imp Usa). An impressive youngster with a pleasing expression, clean eyes and muzzle. Has both breadth and depth of chest and a strong, well ribbed body. Strongly built muscular hindquarters. Moved well with a very easy action. 2nd: 2981 BURTON, Mr R C Vodahond Arlo Class 1199 PGD (3 Entries) Abs: 1 1st: 3003 MCINTYRE, Mrs Nicole Michelle & YATES, mr Garry & Shirebears Mystify With Edbear. Brown. Particularly good profile action with a free, fluid gait. Pleasing head and eye, clean muzzle. Well balanced with good ribbing and a strong loin. Harsh outer coat and good undercoat. 2nd: 2998 IRVINE, Mrs Kirsten & IRVINE, Mr John Royleway Jeste. Strong, masculine head, stop could be less defined. Good neck and shoulders. Good body proportions. Unfortunately, just a shade lethargic on the move. Class 1200 LD (7 Entries) Abs: 4 1st: 2990 DUFF, Mr Drew & DUFF, Mrs Anna Titanbears Excommunicado JW Ir J Ch ShCEx OSW. Really pleasing head and expression, good sized skull, clean eyes and muzzle. Excellent forehand with good quality bone. Strong body with some breadth over the topline and loins. Sound and true on the move. I could happily have signed a CC for him. 2nd: 3010 RUSSELL, Mrs Karen Zentaur Fizzical Damage. Not quite the deportment and head carriage of the winner but he certainly has some quality and is typey and well balanced. Clean head and eye with a benevolent expression. Strong, well ribbed body. Shown in good coat and moved out well. 3rd: 2996 HOSIE, Mr & Mrs Kevin & Kirstin King Of Helluland Jungle Book At Shadowrise Class 1201 OD (5 Entries) Abs: 1 A strong, well contested class with four lovely dogs. 1st: 2977 BLAKE, Ms S Ch Sandbears Masterpiece. Presents a lovely overall picture as he is beautifully balanced and presented to best advantage. Good sized skull, clean eyes and clean, square muzzle. Powerful, strong body and well muscled, nicely angulated hindquarters. His movement was exemplary. Shown in good coat. CC & BOB. I was delighted to learn he later won the Working Group under Mrs McManus. Congratulations. 2nd: 2982 CHAPMAN, Mrs Lyn Ch Nandobears You'll Never Walk Alone (imp Deu). Reserve CC. Absolutely typical and beautifully balanced. Attractive, masculine head and kind, expression. Excellent forehand with good quality bone and well laid shoulders. Deep broad chest and ribs extend well back to a powerful, strong loin. Sound and free moving. 3rd: 2988 DUFF, Mr Drew & DUFF, Mrs Anna Ir Ch Titanbears Vainglorious JW ShCEx OSW Class 1202 VB (2 Entries) Abs: 1 1st: 2971 ADAIR, Mrs Abbi & ADAIR, Mr Steven Ch King Of Helluland Love Actually At Darebear (imp). CC and Best Veteran. Hard to believe that she is over 8 years of age. Presents a lovely profile when standing and she retains this on the move with her proud carriage and excellent topline. Her movement was effortless with good drive and an easy reach. Good sized skull with a pleasing, benevolent expression. Strongly made body with good ribbing and depth of chest. Shown in lovely coat and muscular condition. Class 1203 MPB NO ENTRIES Class 1204 PB (2 Entries) Abs: 0 1st: 2997 HOSIE, Mr & Mrs Kevin & Kirstin Shadowrise Smash'n Grab. Best Puppy. A good prospect I would think. Feminine with a good sized skull and pleasing expression. Has all the essentials with good bone and depth of chest. Free moving with particularly good hind action. Shown in good coat. Pleased to learn she was placed 4th in the Puppy Group. Well done. 2nd: 2984 CHAPPLE, Mrs Claire Vodahond Violet For Peakcharm. Well balanced and very typey, not quite the firm topline of the winner as yet. Pleasing head, good breadth and depth of chest. Ribs extend well back. Moved with an easy, sound action. Class 1205 JB (3 Entries) Abs: 0 1st: 3001 MCDONALD, Ms S Sandbears Dreams And Wishes. Reserve CC. Quite eye-catching in profile and she doesn’t disappoint upon handling. Very attractivbe head and expression, good neck which she uses to advantage. Well boned with strong legs and good feet. Broad, strong back and good loins. Well angulated with hocks well let down. Feminine yet with strength and substance. Good sized skull, pleasing eyes and clean muzzle. Good sized skull, clean eye. Well balanced and presents an overall, pleasing picture. Well ribbed with a broad back, firm topline and good tailset. Moved well with an easy, fluid action. 2nd: 3009 POPPLE, Mrs Ginny & POPPLE, Dr Mark Mileoak Wishing On A Star Jw. A good moving, typical bitch, beautifully balanced. Good rib and body, not quite as firm in topline as the winner. Nicely angulated hindquarters, short from hock to heel. 3rd: 2991 DUFF, Mr Drew & DUFF, Mrs Anna Titanbears Requiem Class 1207 LB (7 Entries) Abs: 4 1st: 2972 ADAIR, Mrs Abbi & ADAIR, Mr Steven Chateaunewf Make My Day For Darebear. A contender for top honours as she is very satisfying to handle. Good sized skull with clean, square muzzle and good eyes with a kind expression. Excellent forehand with good neck and shoulders, quality bone and good feet. Strong, well ribbed body. Particularly good hind action. 2nd: 2974 ARKELL, Ms Natalie Camnoire She's A Star By Cannark. Feminine yet with strength and substance. Attractive head, good depth of chest and decent bone. Well ribbed back. Sound and active on the move. 3rd: 2989 DUFF, Mr Drew & DUFF, Mrs Anna Titanbears Pious Charlatan Class 1208 OB (7 Entries) Abs: 2 1st: 3008 POPPLE, Mrs Ginny & POPPLE, Dr Mark Mileoak Loch Noir Shcex. Good sized skull and very attractive expression with square muzzle, clean eyes and good dentition. Feminine with good breadth and depth of chest. Strong well ribbed body. Free moving and very sound. Shown in great form. Just lost her outline a little in the challenge for the CC but she is very classy. 2nd: 2975 BALDOCK, Mrs C Ch & Bel Ch & Lux Ch Ohoi's About Damn Time (Imp Nor). Grand head with lovely eyes and clean muzzle. Strong, well boned forehand, has sme strength over the loins and very good, muscular hindqaurters.
