Many thanks to the exhibitors for their entries, I enjoyed judging your lovely breed. Really encouraging to see that there are a number of younger handlers involved with the breed, who all did an excellent job of handling their charges, keep up the good work.
MPD (2)
1. McNiven, Bryson & Bryson’s Dajaveil Dugald Drumguish. Promising 7 month pup with a pleasing outline. Proportionate head, with the darkest of eyes under his eyebrows, neat well set ears and big strong teeth with a good bite. Good amount of fore chest with ribs well sprung for his age. Moderate reach of neck into well laid shoulders, nicely muscled quarters with a good bend of stifle. Once he got into his stride, he moved freely carrying his tail well and holding his topline. His well presented jacket was of good texture. Just had the edge in terms of maturity of body, happy to award him BPD and BPIB.
2. Pendlebury’s Pamaswater Eros at Kamondale. Younger pup of just 6 months, with all the makings of a very nice example of the breed. Lovely headpiece of good length, neat erect ears, dark well shaped eyes with a keen expression and a scissor bite. Moderate neck which fits nicely into well laid shoulders, decent bone and good legs and feet. Compact and well ribbed for his age and his tail is set on well. On the move and when he concentrates, he is sound with quite good drive from behind.
PD (1)
1. Taylor’s Karmaristol Ericsson for Pamaswater. 9 month brindle lad, shapely outline and sporting a harsh jacket, he could perhaps have a little more body which should come with maturity. Attractive, masculine head with a keen intelligent expression, ears held erect, very dark eyes and big strong teeth with a good bite. He has a moderate yet strong neck, good forehand with some breadth of chest, firm level topline and tail set on well. On the go around his well muscled hindquarters and strong hocks enabled him to drive from behind. In the challenge for best puppy, just slightly preferred the slightly more compact outline of the MP winner.
JD (1)
1. Tilley’s Fredrick Oriono Kerai. Eye catching black youngster of pleasing breed type, liked his shapely and balanced profile, and his gleaming jacket was very well presented and of good texture. Masculine head of good length, neat well set on ears, dark eyes under his eyebrows, and correct dentition. Moderate length of neck, with a well laid shoulder which flowed nicely into a level topline. Well ribbed and boned for his age. His hindquarters are strong with a good bend of stifle which helped him to move out really well with a smooth but active action with good drive from behind. It was this coupled with his compact outline that gave him the edge for BD and BOS.
PGD (1)
1. Jenkins’ Skircoat Scarpia. Brindle lad, pleasing for breed type, masculine and well balanced with plenty of bone and substance. Moderate reach of neck, sturdy well slung body with good breadth of chest, well ribbed and firm topline. Head is of a good length and well proportioned with, neat erect ears, well shaped dark eyes, big strong teeth and a keen expression. His strong, well muscled hindquarters helped him move soundly and freely around the ring with good drive from behind, just carrying his tail slightly over his back on the move.
LD (2) 2 very nice dogs handled very well by their young handlers.
1. Taylor’s Pamaswater Hakuna Matata JW. RBD. Eye catching black dog, lovely breed type with plenty of terrier spirit. Lengthy, masculine head with the darkest of eyes giving a keen expression and a very good bite. Good forehand with some breadth of chest, moderate reach of neck, well boned with good legs and feet. Well ribbed and short coupled with firm topline and tail set. Nicely angulated hindquarters with plenty behind the tail. Harsh well presented jacket. A free and active mover. Happy to award him RBD.
2. McNiven & Bryson’s Frazandmitch Top of The Game at Dajaveil. Another lovely chap of pleasing breed type, his harsh brindle jacket was well prepared. Attractive, masculine head with a keen intelligent expression, neat erect ears and big strong teeth. Moderate yet strong neck, strong, sturdy well slung body with good breadth of chest and good topline and tail set. Well ribbed, perhaps just fractionally longer cast than the winner. Strong, nicely muscled hindquarters with well bent stifles. Moved out freely and actively.

MPB (1)
1. McNiven, Bryson & Bryson’s Dajaveil Tromie Meadow. Delightful black girl of quality, who I see is litter sister to the MPD winner. Her head is of good length, with strength but retaining her femininity, erect ears of good size and lovely dark expressive eyes under her eyebrows, big strong teeth with scissor bite. Moderate length of neck which flows nicely into well laid shoulders, fore chest and ribbing coming nicely. Strong hindquarters with well bent stifles, all topped off with a harsh coat. Sniffing the ground quite a bit in the go around, but I did see glimpses of sound movement, just needs time and experience to get the hang of things. BPB.
PGB (3) A good class with two very nice girls,
1. Wilson, Wilson’s & Dixon’’s Chatterdale Clear Star Black girl with a stamp of quality about her, feminine yet with the impression of power with plenty of bone and substance. Well balanced and presents a compact outline. Her head is of a good length and well proportioned with, neat erect ears, the darkest of well shaped eyes, full of keenness, Strong, moderate neck and good forehand with adequate breadth of chest. Good body, ribs extend well back, with a good topline and tail set all topped off with a well presented jacket. On the go around, she moved well with an easy, fluid action.
2. Beckton’s Glengracie She Will Rock You. A feminine wheaten girl, pleasing for breed type and well balanced with plenty of bone and substance, perhaps a fraction longer cast then winner. Her head is of good length and well proportioned with a dark eye, keen expression and correct ear set and shape. Strong neck which fits nicely into her topline. Strong, sturdy well slung body with good breadth of chest. Strong hindquarters. Moved well with a true, easy action and shown in great condition with a well presented jacket.
3. Taylor’s Pamaswater Flaron
LB (1)
1. Barton-Smith’s Russalan Rosenda Rose. Mature and quality black girl with a pleasing compact and balanced profile. Feminine head of good length, proportionate, darkest of eyes with a glint of keenness, neat erect ears and strong scissor bite. She has a strong, moderate neck and good forehand with good breadth of chest. Sturdy body, her ribs extend well back. Very good hindquarters with plenty behind the tail. Presented in great coat and condition. Moved soundly and actively on the go around. Today, just preferred the slightly firmer topline of the OB winner, happy to award her RBB.
OB (1)
1. McCracken’s Carisco Myrtle Beach to Amawyn. Smart and compact brindle girl with much to admire. Liked her outline, low to the ground with good depth, bone and substance and well muscled quarters. She is feminine and balanced throughout. Moderate reach of neck with a well laid shoulder, flowed nicely into a level topline with a correct tail set. Her head is a good length and well proportioned with the darkest of eyes, she used her ears to advantage, very good bite and a keen expression. Sound and free moving on the go around and her jacket was presented to best advantage. Happy to award her BB and she caught my eye again in the challenge, just having the edge in terms of maturity over the very nice nice young dog, which gave her the advantage today. BOB

1. Wilson’s Charlilymae Funshine Jovi of Bonnyness. Black girl with plenty of bone and substance, perhaps just fractionally longer cast but she is a good quality and quite compact in appearance. Attractive feminine head of good length, well proportioned with dark expressive eyes well set on ears, and good dentition. Decent forehand, well ribbed body with firm topline, well muscled handquarters and well set on tail, all topped off with a harsh jacket. On the go around she was sniffing the ground quite a bit, but I did see glimpses of sound movement.
