Treharris & District Canine Society

Treharris and District Canine Society LIMIT SHOW Sunday 7th December 2025 I would like to thank the committee of Treharris and District Canine Society for inviting me to judge their Limit show. This is a club that is very dear to me starting me out on my conformation career at their ringcraft with my Mini Bulls. So to then have me judging several years later was a real honour. Thank you all for your hospitality and friendliness and for all those who entered their dogs under me and accepted my placings on the day. The quality was wonderful with lots of great dogs that I am sure will do very well in their future careers. —— Norfolk Terrier open d/b (1/0) 1st Barrow’s KINSRIDGE PINK DIAMOND 5 yr old red bitch. Rounded in head with dark expressive oval eyes and well set ears. Correct scissor bite. Moved with purpose, animated and topline held firm. Lacking a little in coat on her hind legs. A sweet and happy little lady her tail never stopped wagging! BOB & TG1 Terrier Group 1 KINSRIDGE PINK DIAMAND — Bulldog Open d/b (1/0) 1st George’s AVAWORD GWENNO 2 year old Red and White bitch. Immaculately presented. Well balanced in head, short in muzzle with moderate upturn of jaw. Nostrils large, eyes dark and round, very well pigmented and a correct rose ear to frame. BOB & UG3 French Bulldog Open d/b (1/0) 1st Williams’ JAFRAK SUGAR RAY FOR GWYNSEL JW 1 year old Fawn dog with black mask. A cheeky young man with plenty of character. Very typey in appearance with a handsome headpiece. Dark eyes, wide nostrils and well placed ears. Cobby and short in body, with good round bone. BOB Dalmatian Post Graduate (1/2) 1st James’ TIPPLEDAL MIST OF THE MEADOW 1yr old black spotted bitch. Well pigmented and feminine headpiece. Moderate in neck. A touch upright in shoulder. Elbows well tucked into deep brisket. Level in topline, good bend of stifle and a well developed second thigh. Correctly set tail. She moved smoothly but seemed a little unsettled to start. He moved parallel and with drive around the ring, holding his topline throughout with correctly held tail. Followed instruction on the move and presented her wiggly charge well. Junior Handling 12-16 years 1st Lisa-Rose Saunders Lisa quietly handled a Tibetan Terrier. Presented well on the table moving around so as to not obstruct my view. Presented the dog correctly and moved well following instruction without hesitation. 2nd Luke Saunders Luke also handled a Tibetan Terrier. Presented well on the table moving tail correctly in place so as to present the best outline for me to see. Moved well but just cut the corner on the triangle. Adult Handling 17-40 years 1st Cally Saunders Cally handled a Dalmatian neatly and quietly. She presented the outline well with a freestand and moved around her dog for me to go over without hindering my assessment. Followed instruction and moved the dog well and with purpose. Finishing in front of me with another well placed free stand of her charge. Adult Handling 41+ years 1st Eve James Eve also handled a Dalmatian with quiet efficiency. Presenting her charge well and changing hands on the down and back so as not to obscure the dog from view at any point. Finished off with a freestand neatly in front of me so I didn’t have to step or move around at all to see the dog in profile. 2nd Janett Rice Janett Handled her Tibetan spaniel very professionally. Moving for me to assess, and ensuring her charge looked at its best at all times. The only faux pas was when coming to the end of the down and back Janett presented the dog with a freestand that was facing away from me, causing me to step around to assess the dog from the side.
