MINEHEAD & DCS 30/7/2025

Thank you for inviting me to judge at this lovely show, although the group is small in number, the quality of dogs was superb.

Alaskan Malamute.

PG (1). 1 & BOB . Kaskae Show Me The Monet avec Keighanya (Partidge-Bebb)13mth. well built, sturdy dog, pleasing expression with good ear set, straight legs and compact feet, in excellent condition shown in the best of coats, moves out very well.

Bouvier Des Flandres.

O (1). 1 & BOB . Zhora-Viper Vd Vanenblikhoeve (imp NL) (De Boo) 3yr b, quality head , strong neck into straight front, good depth to chest, harsh coat, good tail set, moves out well, a little close behind.

Boxer.

P (1). 1 & RBOB,BP. Legend of Thor at Robinsteck (Robinson)nearly 12mth d, broad masculine head with good pigmentation, correct shoulder and front, well ribbed, sloping topline into well set tail, strong rear, moves out well when not distracted.

PG (2,1a).1.Bonmac Little Star(Pearn), young b. very unsettled to start, good feminine head with pleasing expression, straight legs with neat feet, good depth to chest,well angulated rear, nice all round, one for the future as just needs more time to finish and settle, clean on the move.

O (2,1a).1 & BOB. Robinsteck A Star Is Born ( Robinson) 3yrs beautiful head and expression, chest with depth and width, well muscled throughout, neat feet, so well made, moved out with drive covering plenty of ground.

Bullmastiff.

PG (1) 1 & RBOB. Blue Thunder of Black Hunar at Rainwilds JW (imp NL) (Cox) 2yr d. masculine head with correct fold, good ear carriage, well built throughout, strong quarters, tight feet, movement was ok, just would like a little more.

O (2,1a) 1 & BOB. Gertlush Polished Ebony (Horton & Williams) 3yr b. feminine head with plenty of width, strong front, good body length and depth, enough angulation, standing presents a good overall picture, but on the move my notes just say wow, kept it up in both the challenge and the group.

Dobermann.

P (2). 1 BOB & BP. Shalissa’s Into The Shallow (Webb), maturing nicely, good head, arched neck, straight front, deep chest with strong loin, well muscled, moves with ease, out moved the rest in the challenge.

2. Aniiraz Wild Cybele avec Llepac (Capell) 7mth baby,coming on well, nice head body right for age, will strengthen with time, nice and steady on the move, another quality puppy.

PG (1). 1. Amazon Breathless (Trego) b, very nice head, good neck and shoulder, good depth to chest, plenty of width across the rear, moves well, but could show more to advantage.

O (4,2a).1 & RBOB. Swiss/Rom/BIH/Fed BIHCH/Rom/Bih GCH Shalissa's Perfect Blend (Webb), good sized b, pleasing head, strong through the body, well off for bone, good angles front and rear, can overstack. moves out well with reach and drive, well presented and handled, outmoved in the challenge.

2. Aritaur Cirilla with Philmont ( Caldicott) different type to winner, but lots to like, smaller allround than 1, quality head, well made body with nice proportions, rather fidgety and would have liked a little more drive for her excellent construction.

Rottweiler.

P (1). 1, BOB & BP. Javladare Badaboom (Disney & Takyar), beautiful head, strong neck, well made body filling nicely, good bone, compact feet, in good coat moves steadily.

Siberian Husky.

O (1). 1 & BOB. Kobuk Foxtail Lily (Crowther) mature b. pretty fox head, nice lines, well bodied and coated, straight legs, oval feet, moves out well.

AVNSC Working.

PG (1) 1 & RBNSC. Morwinas Warhammer (Probert), Leonberger. strongly made d. lovely head and expression, strong legs, well padded feet, good depth to chest, well made rear, moved cleanly.

O(3,1a). 1 & BNSC. Kernow Sealion at Fitzford (Ellis), BMD. Masculine head, well marked, nice through the body, stands on good legs and feet, moves steadily and with purpose, shown in beautiful soft coat.

AV Working

PG. (2,1a) 1 Bonmac Little Star, (see breed) more settled in this class.

O. (2,1a). 1 Kobuk Foxtail Lady (see breed)

V .(7,2a) 1 Enjoy-Pearl Vd Vanenblikhoeve (imp NL) (De Boo), Bouvier, good head and front, well made body, showed well, in good coat, and moved well in a quality class.

2 Swnydwr Snapchat at Woodbriar JW ShCex OSW (Stansbury), Dobe. unlucky to meet 1, liked this b, excels in head and body, well made throughout, moved well but struggled on the slippy grass.

3 Multi/Int Ch Shalissa's Siriusly Stunnin (ai)JW Alpen Sieger (Webb)

Working Group.

1 Gertlush Polished Ebony (Bullmastiff) this b just kept going, the heat and ground not a problem at all, I hear this was the final points for her ShCex, well done.

Swedish Vallhund. My thanks to the exhibitors, as I was not the original judge, the entry was full of quality and on another day could easily change places.

 P. (1). 1 & BP Valaller Jackfruit (Howe) 11mth, good wedge shaped head, well marked, nice front, body coming together well, good angles front and rear, moved out steadily.

PG. (1). 1. Valaller Strike A Pose (Biss), pretty feminine head, nice ear set, good topline, well angulated rear, a little distracted on the move, but had plenty of drive.

O. (5,1a) 1 & BOB Meddobe Spice Girl (Poulton) 8yrs and doesn't look it! lovely head, excellent proportions, good legs and feet, good chest and rib, moves so well.

2 & RBOB Valaller The Photographer (Howe) another nice d, bigger all round than 1, pleasing head and body, nice angles front and rear, moved well, but did slow a bit at the end.

Open Charity Stakes.

1. Clydebeck Layla's Gem (Taylor), Border T, real showman, catches the eye, lovely head, good body, neat and tidy on the move, well handled and presented.

2 Ronevorg Dark Angel at Lussac JW (May), F/C, quality d all through, moves so well, shown in excellent condition and coat

3 Saintharp Can't Stop Me Now (Little) Whippet,

Vulnerable Native Breeds.

1 Neerodan Pepper Minty (Snell) ETT, exquisite head and expression, well ribbed body, so good in both the stand and on the move, which was excellent considering the spikey grass.

2 Gertlush Polished Ebony, Bullmastiff, see bree

3 Blamorder High Brow with Jerdoni, (Rodgers), Sm Collie
