BIS

Apologies for the lateness of this critique.

It was a privilege to be asked to judge BIS by this society with which I have been associated for many years. Many thanks to the breed and group judges for sending through some lovely dogs from which to choose.

BIS The top spot went to Simms’ Siberian Husky SEAQUALINA ECHO OF LIGHT AT ARCTICSKIES - striking grey-white male with a typical foxy head and alert expression. Balanced throughout with a deep body. Freeflowing movement covered the ground well. Really owned the ring today.

RBIS was Barnett’s Dalmatian SALVADORADA HAPPY GO LUCKY - well made thoughout and correctly marked, she had a most attractive outline , deep body with firm topline and good tailset and carriage. Pretty head and good neck, moved stykishly around the ring.

Best Puppy in Show was Howlett’s Samoyed ARTSAM BEDAZZLED FOR TIKSI – really enjoying her day, on sparkling form. She has a lovely head and expression. Good overall construction, body maturing nicely. In full gleaming coat, she moved out well today.

Res BPIS was Allen’s Rottweiler TK’S FACE TIME (Imp SRB) – very balanced for age and all male, with an imposing, powerful head with good muzzle and foreface. Super bone and front. Filling out well. Moved soundly and with style.

Best Veteran in Show was Burrage’s Cesky Terrier CH KOMIDION PRIMA DONNA OF SAMETOVA ShCEx, VW - grey/blue lady with a long head and feminine expression. Correct angulation both ends, correct topline. In excellent coat and condition, not showing her age, and moved with style and drive.

RBVIS was Blay’s GSP SH CH BARLEYARCH SKYE AT LONGBARROW ShCM, ShCEx, VW – have often seen her from the ringside and it was a pleasure to go over her. Another in super condition, well- muscled and fit for function. Very feminine with lovely head and expression. Well- constructed throughout and moved stylishly from strong hindquarters.
