2ND Shepherd’s - Orchidstar Full Speed Ahead - Upstanding male with masculine head. Straight front with good forechest, tight feet. Deep chest, correct topline and hindquarters. Moved soundly with drive.

Correct angulation at both ends so strode out well on the move. Straight, well boned front, deep mature body, well ribbed up. Moved with style and drive, and lovely extension. BOB

Thanks to exhibitors for an entry that was strong in both quality and quantity. I think some dogs suffered in the heat and could not give of their best.

1ST Barham’s - Droveborough Witchy Woman - 8 month b/w b with a balanced outline. Feminine head with good dish and deep muzzle. Good line of neck into well laid shoulders, deep chest with well fitting elbows. Straight front with good oval bone and tight feet. Well ribbed up with strong hindquarters. The best mover in the class. BPIB

 2ND Kennedy’s - Droveborough Black Magic – b/w sister to 1, and very similar in head and expression. Good front, bone and feet. Preferred the brisket and forechest of 1. Correct angulation both ends, well ribbed up with good topline and tailset. Front movement looser than 1 at this stage.

3RD Matthews’ - Sonham Just A Pretty Belle (ai) JW

1ST Kennedy’s - Droveborough's Hells Bells - 17 months l/w b, balanced, very typy head with good dish and ratio of skull to muzzle. Straight front with good forechest, correct bone and feet. Strong neck flowing into well laid shoulders and topline. Good depth of chest, well ribbed up, correct well muscled hindquarters. Sound driving movement.

2ND Stilgoe & Fox’s - Teisgol Alohomora - o/w b, 22 months. Another balanced outline. Very sweet head, good eye colour and pigment. Good reach of neck, correct front angulation and good forechest, straight front, good bone and feet. Preferred brisket of 1 but good overall depth of body. Lovely hindquarters. Not quite as positive in front movement as 1.

1ST Brooksmith’s - Nightgold Pipkin – l/w with super outline and sound movement. Feminine head, super neck into good forequarters, well-boned with straight front and good feet. Lovely angulation both ends, good topline and tailset, deep chest and short loin.

2ND Stilgoe & Fox’s - Teisgol Rose Campion JW - o/w, very pretty head and expression. Good length of neck straight front with good forechest, tight feet. Well ribbed up with deep chest. Strong well-angulated hindquarters. Not quite as positive on the move as 1 today.

3RD Wynne-Evans’ - Droveborough Frost Queen

1ST Wynne-Evans’ - Droveborough Frost Queen - very nice make and shape but carrying too much weight today. I liked her neatness and moderation but the extra embonpoint spoilt her outline for me. Nevertheless moved soundly and with drive.

2ND Webb’s - Tenshilling Jimmy Mack JW - upstanding o/w dog with a typical head. Good front and brisket, good topline and tailset, very well angulated at rear. Still needing to fill out his frame. moved soundly.

Strong neck into well laid shoulders. Corrrect front angulation with good forechest and brisket. Strong bone appropriate to his size, super feet. Lovely depth and substance. Short strong loin, well muscled hindquarters. In gleaming coat. Moved accurately with drive and extension. BOB

2ND Roberts ‘- Kananaskis Black Bryony JW - b/w b, also very balanced and typy. Feminine throughout, muscular neck led to well angulated forequarters with good forechest, although I preferred the brisket of 1. Good bone and front. Chest still deepening, short strong loin, good topline. Good bend of stifle, well muscled hindquarters. Sound accurate mover. RBOB

1ST Samuels’ - Winter Melody Bit Too Dramatic (Imp Pol) (Siberian Husky) 12 months, giving away a lot in age in this class, Correct angulation at both ends. Moved very well.

2ND Norbury & Adkins Fry’s - Bedeslea Pradasphere (Lagotto Romagnolo) - 14 months and looking very smart. Lovely shape of head and good eye colour. Well angulated front and rear, deep body for age. Very well balanced throughout and moved soundly.
