1. Radcliffe’s Sniperay Secret Affair. Lovely young black and white bitch of 9 months, feminine head with well defined stop, kind expression with well set ears, good length of neck leading into a sound front assembly, straight legs with oval well padded feet, good proportions, strong hindquarters with good bend of stifle, moved steadily around the ring with ground covering gait, BP & PG3.

2. Anderson Rowell’s Daledancer Frances Mullen. Promising 6 month old black and white bitch, very feminine in head with defined stop and good breadth to her skull, well set ears, good length of neck and lovely shoulder placement, she had excellent angulation front and rear, she was balanced throughout with well muscled rear and good bend of stifle, moved out well, just needs to settle.

1. Anderson Rowell’s Wilchrimane Silent Sonnet at Daledancer. Very feminine black and white bitch of 2 years, lovely feminine and expressive head which was balanced with good stop and well set ears, lovely body proportions with good depth of chest, straight legs of good bone and oval feet, well muscled in front and rear, moved beautifully when settled into her stride.

2. Bush’s Piasharn Rocka Rolla. Black and white male of 2 years, masculine in head with balanced skull, kind expression, good ears, straight legs of good bone and oval feet, strong pasterns, long neck leading into a sound front assembly, good proportions and well muscled rear, lacked a little condition today but moved soundly.

O 3(1) 

1. Radcliffe’s Sh Ch. Sniperay Edge of Glory JW. Appealing orange and white bitch of 4½ years, liked her outline both standing and moving, feminine and expressive head with defined stop and good width to skull, well set ears, muscular long neck leading into excellent shoulder placement, good forechest and depth of brisket, lovely proportions, she was sound in top-line and well muscled throughout, lovely steady movement in all directions, BOB & pleased to see her placed Group 1.

2. Anderson Rowell’s Raigmore Limelight at Daledancer. Orange and white bitch of 4½ years, slightly smaller in frame than 1 but lovely to assess, she had a feminine expressive head of good breadth and correct stop, good length of neck and well set shoulders, she was balanced front and rear with good depth in chest and well ribbed back, short loin and well muscled rear, steady ground covering gait.

1. Cox’s Cushatlaw Serendipity JW. 6½ years, feminine head and expression, clean head with well set ears and dark eye, good length of neck leading into well set shoulders, lovely lay back of shoulder, straight legs, compact feet and good pasterns, liked her overall proportions, sound top-line with well muscled rear and good bend of stifle, lovely free movement.

2. Rutherford’s Dappledale Aurelia Rose. 3½ years, feminine expressive head with lovely dark eye and well set ears, balanced skull, good length of neck and balanced angulation front and rear, straight legs of good bone and well padded feet, a little soft in top-line, moved out freely, just preferred the overall proportions of 1.

1. Cox’s Cushatlaw Athena JW. Nicely proportioned bitch of 4 years who I have judged before, liked her expressive feminine eye, clean head with good balance to her skull, well set ears and lovely dark eye, good neck and well set shoulders, good depth of brisket, well ribbed with short loin, well muscled rear with good bend of stifle, moved out well, presented in excellent condition.

2. Rutherford’s Sh Ch. Cushatlaw Charisma of Dappledele. Another lovely bitch of 8 years, very feminine in head and expression, straight legs of good bone and well padded compact feet, good forechest and depth of brisket, she was well muscled throughout and moved freely around the ring, presented in lovely coat and condition.

AV PUPPY STAKES 

1. Costello’s Nicobri’s Young Gun TAF. Pug. Confident young fawn male Pug of 6½ months, square, appealing head with dark round eyes and soft velvet ears, correct mouth, good shoulder and straight legs, ribs well sprung, high set tail, positive and steady on the move.

2. Scott’s Mickleview Harvest Moon. Bedlington Terrier. 9 months, male, lovely masculine head, good eye and no stop, liked his front angulation, light and typical on the move, presented in excellent coat.

3. Featherstone’s Jaysquares Bete Noire at Featherttor. Chow Chow.

2. Phoenix’s Ch. Nordicwinds Grtest Showman JW. Alaskan Malamute. 4½ years, male, full of himself today, masculine head with strong muzzle and well set ears, lovely eye, good neck and shoulder placement, correct top-line, good bone and feet, liked his proportions, well muscled, free and ground covering on the move.

3. Morris/Jefferson’s Mycalleys Koko JW. Spaniel (American Cocker).

1. Chapman’s Ch. Kitsune Notorious (AI). German Spitz (Mittel). Really lovely sable male of 3 years, compact outline, wedge shaped head and alert keen expression, well set shoulder, straight legs, small round feet, high set tail, moved with an effortless confident stride, presented in lovely coat and condition. 

2. Radcliffe’s Sh Ch. Sniperay Edge of Glory JW. Pointer. Repeat.

3. Hick’s Ch. Datiro Gibbontake. Affenpinscher.

AV SPECIAL BEGINNERS STAKES

1. Dack’s Gaelgorm Leap Into The Dark. Kerry Blue Terrier. Male of 16 months, lean head with slight stop, dark eyes, straight front, short coupled, strong hindquarters, presented in excellent coat, free on the move.  

2. Cummins’ Kewhaigh Innocent Man JW. Border Terrier. Well presented blue/tan male of 20 months, broad in skull with strong muzzle, dark eyes, straight forelegs, well ribbed back with strong loin, good pelt, free on the move.

3. Proudler’s Kimapa Kwackers Kalon JW. Spaniel (Cocker).
