Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge the Working and Pastoral groups at your show. I had a very enjoyable day.
Siberian Husky
Graduate (4 entries, 1 absent)
1st. Shaw and Dandy’s Gercekask Crime Lord JW. 13 month old male with beautiful chiselled masculine head, lovely eye shape and expression and super ears. Super front with well laid shoulders and excellent bone and feet. Good depth of chest considering he is still a young dog and super topline with strong loins and well-muscled balanced hindquarters. Lovely double coat and excellent effortless mover, making the most of the ring. A quality young male who will go far, I’m sure. Best of Breed and Working Group 1.
2nd. Jackson’s Aloustair’s Circle of Life for Azilvix. Red and White bitch who scored well in head qualities with lovely foxy expression and nice ears. Not as good in front as the winner however has excellent coat texture and good hindquarters moving well.
3rd. Jackson’s Sakarladrift Frosty Paws for Azilvix
Open (3 entries, 1 absent)
1st. Johnson’s Atlanticbreeze Bailry by Lupinemoon JW. 3-year-old male with a super masculine head and eye shape. Good enough front, not as good as best of breed, with nice feet and good depth of chest. Strong hindquarters moving with plenty of drive at the rear. Overall, a dog with plenty to like.
2nd. Jackson’s Sakarladrift Frosty Paws for Azilvix. 11-month-old who is still quite raw in her development. Nice head and eye shape although still needs to grow into her ears. Front and chest still need to develop however good length of neck and held her topline well when moving. Good length of rib and balanced hindquarters, but overall needs to mature and strengthen to see the best. Sadly, the only working group puppy present today however gave a good performance and was happy to award her Best Puppy and the Working Puppy Group. Just needs time.

Best of Breed and Working Group 3.

A tough decision between these two quality exhibits.
1st. Brett’s Ch Goldmali Over the Rainbow (Belgian Shepherd Dog Malinois) Top class 8-year-old Belgian shepherd with lovely long skull, parallel head planes and super eye shape and expression. Very good triangular ears held correctly and lovely slightly arched neck. Excellent front construction with flat shoulder blades, balanced return of upper arm and excellent feet. Super topline with excellent body proportions giving a good square outline, moderate spring of rib and in hard working condition. Balanced moderate hindquarters and excellent brisk, free, balanced and unexaggerated movement in all directions. A quality example of this breed and no surprise to see she has her title. Best AVNSC and Pastoral Group 1.
2nd. Mills’ Ch Ludas Matyi Aladar (Imp Hun) (Hungarian Puli). Another excellent example of their breed, 5-year-old black male with good small skull, balanced muzzle, excellent eye shape and pigment. Well laid shoulders with good tight elbows, correct bone and balanced well sprung ribs. Excellent topline with balanced well-muscled hindquarters and well-set tail. Super cords and presented impeccably. Another very good mover, I didn’t feel he was as positive in front coming towards me as the Belgian in this class, however I cannot deny that this is a superb dog. A shame I couldn’t put him through to the group as well as would certainly been guaranteed a place.
