Toy Dog Society Of Wales

Breed: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

CAVALIER KING CHARLES SPANIELS

JUDGE: DEIRDRE THOMAS

I would like to thank the Society for this appointment, which was offered at short notice as the scheduled judge was not able to fulfil it.

P(7,2)1 Coole’s Jolainey Jayden, beautiful eye catching well coated blenheim dog of 6 months, clear well broken markings, large dark eye, coal black nose, correct head shape, almost flat between the ears, shallow stop and tapered muzzle, good forequarters with well laid shoulders and forechest, lovely outline, with level topline held standing and on the move, moved well with enthusiasm in all directions and with a happily wagging tail. RBOB, BP 2 Burrows’ Charnell Tango in the Night at Revdvicki, heavier marked blenheim bitch with a pretty head. I particularly liked her outline, with good balance between her length of body and legs, level topline and short hocks which enabled her to move well. 3 Watts’ Jamesbonny Adelaide

J(1,1)

G (1,1)

PG (2,1) 1 Burrows’ Granasil Coffee Bean at Revdvicki, pretty little black and tan bitch with a lovely outline, dark eye, tapered muzzle, forechest, short coupled with well sprung ribs and good turn of stifle, but moved a little close behind.

OD (2,1) 1 Williams’ Charnell the Rengrade Sancana JW, blenheim dog of lovely type and size with well broken markings. He has the gentlest of expressions, dark eye, head almost flat between his high set ears, forechest, level topline, short coupled, all in the right proportions, with good turn of stifle and steady parallel movement, all set off with a well carried gently wagging tail BOB, BIS3.

OB (4,3) 1 Coole’s Juzandia Endelyn, blenheim bitch dripping in well broken coat, very pretty with large dark eyes, forechest, well sprung ribs, short coupled and well turned stifles, but sadly she would have preferred to stay at home today.
